| 1 | Special repairs to the Service shutters of River sluice vent size 5'x6' including replacing the damaged and eroded suspension pipe arrangements by removing the existing damaged suspension pipes and flanges using necessary gas cutting equipments and removing them from the vent and conveying and stacking at section stores. Fabricating new suspension pipe arrangements made up of 4\\" Dia steel pipes and suitable flanges 2 Nos. for each stage of size 220mm dia and 25mm thick ready for fixing. Repairing the shutter including lifting the Gate to the mechanical platform and removing the damaged sealing arrangements by using necessary gas cutting equipments without causing any damage to the skin plate. Providing new Musical note Rubber seal of 40mm bulb dia of 105mm x 20mm thick on four sides of the shutter and to be covered with 65 x 10mm MS flat provided with required holes and fixing with required bolts, nuts and washers. Service shutter and Suspension pipe arrangements are provided with two coats of coal tar epoxy paint over one coat of Zinchromate primer. Erecting the shutter to the vent in correct alignment and position by using necessary hoisting equipments. Fixing the bottom of the suspension pipe arrangements on the top of the Gate and extending one by one with suitable flanges, bolts, nuts and washers in correct alignment and position. The rate including cost of materials, labour, hire charges for machines and tools & equipments required for welding, cutting, grinding , chain pullies, gas cutting etc., and conveyance charges. The trial operation of shutter has to be satisfactorily demonstrated to the Departmental officers. |
