4Removing of surplus soil/ excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

6Surface excavation n.exc. 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil and getting out in and including clearing all grass vegetation, saplings, shurbs, brush woods under growth roots and trees not exceeding 30cm girth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
7Taking down Cement plaster or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls including raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete including disposal of unserviceable rubbish outside cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
8Demolition of Cement concrete unreinforced as in Ground Floor and paving n. exc. 15cm thick (above or below G.L.) complete including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- Debris will be disposed as per UT norms and Contractor will laise with UT athority for the same and rates quoted shall be deemed to include this aspect.
9Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for Internal dia of pipe 100 mm including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
10Cutting chases, pinning in. making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth on Brick wall complete all as specified.
11Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. complete all as specified and directed.
12Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
13Hardcore of Broken stone or boulders of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14Earth filling Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base.
15Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling,subbase and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
16Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1,using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in sub base of floor and pavings etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
1775 mm thick, cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, finished even & smooth without using extra cement, as in plinth protection, complete all as specified.Plinth protection shall be laid in 1:20 slope and joint filling sealed with bituminous sealing compound grade \\"A\\" .
1825 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B 1 (20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring finishing the concrete surface even and rough without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
19Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in cement concrete in roof kerbs or mud stops,back filling of chowkats, holdfasts,coping,bed plates,cills,benching rounded or chamfered on edges with and including using necessary use and waste of formwork for fair finished surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

24Reinforced Cement Concrete Design Mix M-25 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in Beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span bed blocks,coping and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
25Reinforced Cement Concrete Design Mix M-25 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundations including rafts,footings,foundation beams,plinth beams,bases for columns,basement slabs,under reamed piles and mass concrete and the like complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

41Vitrified ceramic tiles 8 mm to 9 mm thick (Square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.18 Sqm but not exceeding 0.38 Sqm, in floor,skirting etc set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of flooring with epoxy grout mix of organic coated filler of desired shade,hardener ,resin in the ratio of 8:1:2 laid over and including 15mm thick screed bedding layer in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
42Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 300 x 600 x 7 mm thick on vertical surface such as skirting , dado etc. over and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 thick set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of wall with epoxy grout mix of organic coated filler of desired shade,hardener ,resin in the ratio of 8:1:2 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
43Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350 x 450 x 8 mm thick on vertical surface such as skirting , dado etc. over and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 thick set and jointed with 4 mm spacer and grouting the joint of wall with epoxy grout mix of organic coated filler of desired shade,hardener ,resin in the ratio of 8:1:2 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
44Granite jet black shade, 16 - 18 mm thick, (table rubbed and polished) in single piece (in one direction) machine cut, machine polished, bedded and jointed with adhesive suitable for granite/stone & pointed with grout of matching shade including necessary cutting over & including 10 mm thick (average thickness) cement mortar (1:6) screed and jointed with grey cement mixed with matching shade pigment including rounding of/ moulding to edge (half round ) as in cooking platform, shelves, RCC counters, window cills & similar situations, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
45Machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick,SIZE 55 CM x 55 cm laid over & including 20 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing (mirror finish) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
46Machine cut Kota stone slab 20-25 mm thick as in skirting, dado and pillars etc , laid over & including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing (mirror finish) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
47Precast cement concrete (Grade M 30 ) manhole cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made including suitable precast RCC frame as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE of size 750 x 750 x 70 mm thick with and including 2 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty,RCC frame set in cement mortar 1:4 and similar articles complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.NOTE :-Precast SFRC manhole/ Drain cover Manufacturer shall have minimum three years manufacturing experience.Make shall be approved by GE for precast SFRC manhole/Drain cover
48Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed to drain pipes of size 150 mm bore, including packing under & haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested.
49Reinforced concrete pipes 150 mm , class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, laid in trenches on concrete bed to level/gradient, jointing in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
50Brickwork with fly ash bricks, class designation 100, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
51Brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
52Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 as in ceiling/soffits of slabs/Chajja/ Sunshade finishing the plastered surface even & smooth without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
53Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces , trowelled to even and smooth surface without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
54Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces , trowelled to even and smooth surface without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
55Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3, on roof surfaces mixed with water proofing compound on top layer, trowelled to even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
56Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, on brick or concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound on top layer, trowelled to even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
57Supply only liquid water proofing compound ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed.
58Applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 0.70 kg per sq.m over cleaned and dry roof surface including parapet etc complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
59Water proofing roof treatment/Sunken treatment using APP polymeric water proofing membrane minimum 3 mm thick and weighting not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm black finish reinforced with non-woven polyster matt wt not less than 150 gms/Sqm with thermo fusable finish laid over compatible bitumen primer at the rate of 0.40 Ltr/Sqm over cleaned surface including parapet,applying a coat of blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 kg per square metre over priming coat torching over laps with a propane or butane gas torch with a over lap of 100 mm at the side and 150 mm at the ends and sealing all as per manufacturers instructions incl wire brushing and cleaning the top surfaces of concrete, roof surfaces etc. with water including flashings and junction of parapets etc complete (upto 6th floor ) all as specified and directed.The rates shall be inclusive of finishing rain water gutter portion with cement mortar 1:3 to provide requisite slope towars rain water pipe outlet.
60(a) Scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of diameteer of 7\\"/9\\" using a 80 grit sanding paper to make the surface free from dust by skilled labour.(b) Material and labour for 1mm cement base wall care putty over the prepared wall surface @ 1kg per sqm by mixing the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mixing it in putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40 kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying two coats of dump shealth primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint(Ist quality) Apex using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach area and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.

The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying one coat of alkali primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of internal acrylic emulsion paint on new ceiling plaster surface using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach areas and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height complete all as specified and directed.
63Preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
64Preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
65Treatment of efflorescence to walls affected by capillary action and moisture ingress, including identification of affected areas, removal of loose salts by dry brushing/scraping, thorough surface cleaning, and washing with clean water or taking down completely old plaster or any type of treatment. Applying approved anti-efflorescence /water-repellent chemical treatment (silane/siloxane or equivalent) to block capillary pores and prevent further water migration through masonry.The work includes sealing of cracks, joints, and honeycombed areas with approved polymer-modified mortar or injection grout wherever required, surface neutralization, and drying prior to treatment. Treatment shall be applied by brush/roller/spray in multiple coats as per manufacturer’s specifications,ensuring effective penetration and complete coverage.The rate includes all materials, labour, tools, plant, scaffolding, surface preparation, protection of adjoining surfaces, curing/drying time, and completion of the work, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
66Treating the bottom and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area complete all as specified and directed.
67Treating the soil along the external perimeter of building at the rate of 2.25 litre of emulsion per metre of the perimeter wall complete,all as specified and directed by Engineer –in-Charge .
68Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) work for frame of doors, windows, ventilators and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top,bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle,Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
69Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws all complete as per drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge
70Factory made box type steel windows with pressed steel frame min 1.25 thick complete including mild steel acessories like lugs, door stopper, holdfasts, pintol hinges, handles( minimum One for each shutter), and ISI marked tower bolt 150mm size (minimum 2 for each shutter) etc. with glazing bars and without glazing bars (Double shutter ) dovetailed or welded with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer, complete all as shown on drawing No. TD-276(R), Sheet No 1/4 to 2/4, 3/4, 4R/4 and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (i) Fabrication as per TD-276 (R) SH 1/4 to 2/4, 3/4, 4 (R) /4(ii)Mode of measurement Unit will be for the complete window except Glass/ Gauge but incl fittings, ISI marked iron mongery complete as per TD. (iii) The PCC back filling in chowkhat of window, Grills,Sheet glass and wire gauge will be measured and paid separately against respective items.
