| 1 | Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L for sand cushioning to U/G cable in layers of 23 cm thick (8 Cm before laying the cable and 15 Cm thick after laying the cable) in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Only Puned down volume shall be measured. |
