The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm
3Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. [PWD Schedule Page No. 1, Item No. 3]a) with earth obtained from excavation of foundation. 1/5 th of Vol. of excavated Earth
4Earth work in filling in compound, tank, low land,ditches etc. with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including breaking clods and consolidating the same by ramming and dressing complete. (Payment will be made on profile measurement before and after the work).[PWD Schedule Page No. 1, Item No. 3]
5b) With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius of 3 km. Including cost of carried earth.
6Filling in foundation or plinth by fine sand in layers not exceeding 150mm as directed and consolidating same by thorough saturation with water ramming complete. Including the cost of supply of sand. ( Payment to be made on measurment of finished quantity )
7Single brick flat soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with powdered earth or local sand.
8Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (In all floors) [PWD Schedule Page No. 42, Item No. 36](a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering without stagging in foundation.
9Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. Pakur variety. (Ref: Pg-24, it-4.a PWD SOR) 3rd Corrigendum, Pg-10, it-27.a
10Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety. (Ref: P-26, It-10i PWD SOR) 3rd Corrigendum, Pg-13, it-33.i
11Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.(a) For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m [PWD Schedule Page No. 43, Item No. 40]
12(i) Tor Steel /Mild Steel Bars. II. JSW/JSPL/ SHYAM/SRMB/BMASL/ELECTROSTEEL/SSL Considering Steel required 1.20% of R.C.C work.
13Brick work with 1st class Bricks in sand cement Morter (6:1) including raking out joints scaffolding & curing etc. completed as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
14a) In foundation and Plinth :
15125 mm. thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) in ground floor
16Plaster to wall, floor etc with sand and cement morter (1:6) including rounding off or champhering corners as directed and racking out joints or roughing of concrete surface including throating, nosing and drip course where necessary (In all floors).
17b) With 6:1 cement morter.(i) 20 mm thick plaster in Ground Floor.
18Neat cement punning in wall /dado, window sills, floor drains etc. in all floors about 1.5mm thick.
19Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured(matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor: a) One Coat.
20Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of EIC to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer.In Ground floor (Two Coat) a) Normal Acrylic Emulsion.
21Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.
22Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : [PWD Schedule Page No. 200, Item No. 2(a)] (A) On steel or other metal surface : (a) With other than hi-gloss of approved quality- (i) Two coats (with any shade except white)
23Approach Road
24Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the soils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary.: Depth up to 150 mm.
25Single brick flat soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with powdered earth or local sand.
26Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
27Hire charges for shuttring with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beam, columns, lintles curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works.(In all floors): 25mm to 30mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.a) 25mm to 30mm thick wooden shuttering without staging in foundation

31Bamboo Pile Walling made of 6.5cm to 7.5cm dia bamboo (in single line) driven about half-length into ground at very close spacing of 30cm c/c side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 90cm fixed with bamboo post of length 1.25m driven 1m below G.L., 3 nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. and lining exposed portion with sheets made from cut drums (empty bitumen drums) fitted and fixed with a lap width of 100 mm at each joint, complete as per direction including the cost of drum sheets and including the cost of nails, wires etc. [PWD Roads schedule P - 338, I - 18.38]
32(ii) With bamboos of length above 2.00m and upto 2.50m
