| 2 | Day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance, coupled with round-the-clock vigilance, for the entire Addressable Fire-Detection & Alarm System installed at Super Speciality Block, PMSSY Building. This comprehensive approach includes periodic checking, testing, cleaning, repairing, and troubleshooting of all types of detectors, manual call points, hooters, main control panels, response indicators, and other ancillary elements in the complete system. The maintenance is to be carried out by deploying a minimum of 01 (one) Skilled Fire Alarm Technician in each shift, possessing sound knowledge of fire detection systems and capable of operating and maintaining fire alarm control panels round the clock in accordance with Part A: Scope of Work, Part B: Time Schedule with Name & Allocation of The Buildings within Maintenance Coverage and Part C: General Terms & Conditions of Contract furnished in the Annexure. [one (1) skill person three (3) shift per day in all weekdays, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays] |

| 4 | Supply, Installation, Testing & Commisioning of Micropresssor controlled Addressable Multisensor Detector IP-42 ( VDS / UL / ERTL / LPCB / FM approved ) with inbuilt twin angle optical smoke sensors and heat detector sensor with inbuilt short circuit fault isolator as per NFPA style 7 wiring complete with base (Note : Detectors without built-in fault isolator is also acceptable provided one independent short circuit fault isolator per detector is to be provided extra without extra cost) the detectors should have built in response indicator with LED indicator. The detector should have 360 degree optical view with single / multiple LED that blinks on actuation of detector. Reverse polarity or faulty zone wiring shall not damage the detectors. (Approved Make : Honeywell or same as existing detector brand approved by EIC ) |

| 12 | General Terms & Conditions: |
| 13 | 1. Regular servicing & inspection of the equipments should be carried out at least once/twice in a month preferably during 1st week of the month by the agency and challan copy will be submitted to the concern JE, P.W.D. (Electrical). |
| 14 | 2. The agency shall perform preventive maintenance to the equipments and its accessories as per service manual provided by OEM. |
| 15 | 3. The agency shall attend any breakdown & emergency call immediately and restore the same with its own manpower, tools and tackles keeping entries in Log books mention type of faults, nature of work done, fault clearance time etc. |
| 16 | 4. Separate Log book is to be maintained for Preventive Maintenance and Cleaning, Corrective Maintenance as per direction of E.I.C. and signed by concerned Junior Engineer, P.W.D (Electrical) & Assistant Engineer, P.W.D (Electrical) and photocopy of the same should be sent to the Executive Engineer concerned through proper channel at the time of submission of bills. The Logbook should be available at site and should be produced on demand. |
| 17 | 5. The agency must have separate contact telephone numbers with Mobile Nos. for his office and maintenance team deputed at worksite so that the agency may be communicated in case of any urgency and the same should be intimated to the E.I.C., A.E. & J.E concerned, in writing. |
| 18 | 6. The agency shall have to provide tools & tackles at the time of servicing and checking. |
| 19 | 7. The maintenance staff should have proper knowledge & experience of fire detection & alarming system. |
| 20 | 8. Checking the Analog addressable Multisensor Detector, MCPs, Loop power hooter, Response Indicator, Control Panel incl. Fault Isolators and other devices within fire detection system network etc. |
| 21 | 9. Materials required as replacement during maintenance of fire detection & alarming system is considered within the estimate and when required intimation should be submitted to the concerned JE (Electrical) well in advance. |
| 22 | 10. The agency should be responsible for any damage in the installation due to mishandling or mal-operation by it’s staff and shall be liable for compensation for the same which would be recovered from the bill as per direction of E.I.C. |
| 23 | 11. Bills should be submitted quarterly with the certification of satisfactory performance of the concerned Departmental JE and AE. Photocopy of Logbook and challan should also accompany the Bill, if asked for by the EIC. |
| 24 | 12. If any kind of incapability & negligence are noticed in observing all the above-said terms & conditions causing inconveniences to public service, is subject to unilateral penalty, be it detected on the spot or thereafter (even after payment). This Department also reserves the right to deduct the cost from the bills of the contractor on pro-rate basis as determined by the Engineer –In-Charge for any shortfall in observing above T&C. In that case, the above-said contract may be terminated without issuing any notice and Stringent & punishable action may be taken against the contractor.
