Name of Work:- REPAIR/MAINT OF ROLLING SHUTTER, ALUMINIUM DOOR WINDOW, FALSE CEILING AND MISC B/R WORKS AT AF STN PURNEA UNDER AGE (I) (AF) PURNEA.

1Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
2Dismantling of rolling shutter including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
3Supply and fixing steel rolling shutters manual operated type with chain wheel and hand chain (1.25mm thick sheet), with out ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple, erected in position as indicated and conforming to the requirement of IS 6248-1979 specification for metal rolling shutters and rolling grills, complete all as specified and as directed.
4Supply and fixing in repair safety lever locks mild steel with 4 levers for rolling shutters fitted on either ends of the bottom lock plate, complete all as specified and as directed
5Supply and fixing in repair ball bearing for rolling shutters, complete all as specified and directed.
6Material and labour for preparation of new or untreated steel surfaces any description over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed
7Supply and fixing for mild steel frame work for straight portion, drilled and counter sunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc,; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gide E-165 (to cover the opening above rolling shutter), complete all as specified and as directed.
8Supply and fixing expanded metal, cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples and fixed complete to wood or steel members weight not exceed 4.00 Kg/Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.
9Material and labour for complete repair of steel rolling shutter of size 3.00(W) metre x 2.5 metre(H) rolling shutter for smooth functioning including greasing, oiling, moulding channels in proper shape as function condition, repair of lock plate, polling hook, handle, sliding lock, girder channel, stopper, hold fast, curtain, hood cover, pipe shaft, spring, pulley, U clamp and bracket plate etc. including necessary PCC/RCC work, welding if required complete in any shape, size and height, complete all as specified and as directed.
10Supply and fixing in repair spring (heavy duty) wire confirming to grade-2, IS- 1454 , part 01 1975 for 3.00 mtr wide rolling shutter including taking down old one .High tensile steel wire or flat spring used for spiral spring shall be 0.80 to 1.00% carbon steel strip spirally hardened and tempered, complete all as specified and as directed.
11Supply and fixing in repair gear box(heavy duty) conforming to IS 1477 part 01 1971 for 3.00 metre to 8.00 metre wide rolling shutter including taking down by menace of bevel gear box and crank handle mounted on the worm shaft. The bevel gear box shall be mounted on the wall adjacent to the shutter at a height of approximately 0.85 Mtr from the floor .The gear box shall be operate the worm by straight shaft connecting the top of gear box and worm .the crank handle of the gear box shall be detachable. Chain wheel and hand chain operating may also be provided from both sides if needed. The end less hand chain shall hang to a distance approximately 0.85 metre from the floor, complete all as specified and as directed.
12Supply and fixing bands, straps, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains: hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wa!I ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for. securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts;- two way and three way straps, plate washers and-similar small articles -conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 as specified and directed for repair of-rolling/slidding shutter, complete all es specified and as directed.
13Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from frames) area not exceeding 1.50 Square Metre each, including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts or dismantling brick work (holes cut and any other damage to jambs, walls for taking out hold fast shall be finished identical to existing finish without any extra cost to Govt ), complete all as specified and directed.
14Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from frames) area exceeding 1.50 square metre and not exceeding 4.0 square metre each, including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts or dismantling brick work (holes cut and any other damage to jambs, walls for taking out hold fast shall be finished identical to existing finish without any extra cost to Govt.), all complete all as specified and directed.
15Taking down shutters of any description not exceeding 1 square metre each, complete all as specified and as directed.
16Supply and fixing powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) for shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge, complete all as specified and as directed.
17Supply and fixing anodised aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineer in-charge, complete all as specified and as directed.
18Supply and fixing 5/5.5 mm thick sheet glass tinted quality tinted and glazing square/rectangular exceeding 0.5 Square metre in each pane fixed to aluminium frame including rubber beads and other necessary accessories, complete all as specified and as directed.
19Supply and fixing 4.0 mm thick one side frosted glass square/rectangular n.exc 0.5 Square metre in each pane fixed to aluminium frame including rubber beads and other necessary accessories, complete all as specified and as directed.
20Supply and fixing galvanised mild steel wire cloth, 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm and fixed with tinned tacks or galvanised wire staples, complete all as specified and directed.
21Supply and fixing 150mm size aluminium handles, cast type, anodised complete all as specified and directed.
22Supply and fixing 150mm size and aluminium anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified and directed.
23Supply and fixing butt hinges, extruded aluminium alloy with galvanised mild steel hinge pin, anodised and fixed, size 100mm, type B-21, complete all as specified and directed.
24Supply and fixing in repair Neoprene/EPDM Rubber gasket with bulb-type profile used to make Doors & Windows air tight., complete all as specified and as directed.
25Supply and fixing 100 mm size Mortice lock, brass body 4 levers, vertical type, complete all as specified and directed.
26Supply and fixing double action floor spring hydraulically regulated made up of minimum 1.25 mm thick aluminium alloy sheet foundation box, main body with stainless steel cover, governing pivot made of brass, other parts made of mild steel heavy duty and fixed, complete all as specified and directed.
27Material and labour for 18-20mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite including moulding with and including taking down, complete all as specified and directed.
28Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frame including punching drilling out old glazing pin /spring clip and providing and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.
29Supply and fixing 3 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality tinted and glazing with oil putty or wooden beads in squares not exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane, complete all as specified and as directed.
30Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards or insulation boards any thickness including cover fillets etc, complete all as specified and as directed.
31Supply and fixing non-asbestos fiber cement building boards 4mm thick in 600mmx600mm panel conforming to IS 14682 fixed with screws in ceiling to GI grid frame work with size of grid 605mmx605mm for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat complete fixing arrangement and applying two coats of Oil bound distemper over a coat of wall care putty to obtained smoothness of surface, complete all as specified and directed.
32Taking down cement plaster on walls, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. and rubbish off from premises, complete all as specified and as directed.
33Material and labour for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and finish surface even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed.
34Material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering in two layer (10mm + 5mm) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound in top layer as per manufacturer's instructions and finish surface even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: WPC will be measured and paid separately.
35Material and labour for rendering 5 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar (1:3) on ceiling surfaces and and finish surface even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed.
36Supply only integrated water proofing compound.
37Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer on the surface, complete all as specified and as directed.
38Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surface of wall and applying two coats of 1st quality acrylic distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer on the surface, complete all as specified and as directed.
39Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surface of ceiling and applying three coats white wash on the surface, complete all as specified and directed.
40Supply and fixing in repair solid PVC wall lining consisting of 5 mm thick single side plain colour PVC sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site on PVC frame and PVC L- bearing at top of wall lining, corner of wall, opening edge of door & windows matching with panel as per specifications and direction, complete all as specified and as directed.
