The total thickness of Water proofing treatment shall be 75mm for floor(Ist layer consisting of 25mm thick cement concrete base in 1:2:4 proportion with 12mm down aggregates mixed with water proofing compound,2nd layer consisting of 25-30mm. thick cement mortar base in C.M 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound and fixing Shahabad stones of 20-25mm thick overit.) For vertical faces total thickness of water proofing treatment shall be 35- 40mm (providing cement mortar base mixed with standard water proofing compound of 15mm thick over the vertical faces and fixing Shahabad stones of 20-25mm thick over it).The water proofing compound shall confirm to IS:2645 and should be mixed with cement as per manufacture’s recommended proportion for water proofing treatment of both floor and wall. (Note: The waterproofing treatment is to be guaranteed for bon dry condition for a period of 10 Years. The measurement for payment shall be as per actual area covered by the treatment. |
