88Pumping Machinery:- Booster Stage Booster Stage:- Providing & Installing of suitable submersible pumping set of KSB / calama/johnston/crompton/BS/SABAR Oswal / Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling clear water having greased packed bearing and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor of 3 star rating (water proof cage electric induction motor of 3 star rating (water proof type of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 Latest with upto date imendments, totally dust and water proof for sumersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearing and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It Should also be fitted with a devise to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. with automaton system including.The Power of Electrical motor/ motors should be at least (+) 10% in Excess of maximum power required by pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. All Electrical equipments such as starter,ICTP Switches,MCB,Bush bar chamber,MCB,Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter,Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type The pump set should include water level guards,erection clamp,cable clips,depth gauge NRV & Sluice valve (Cast iron PN 1.6 Leader/Kirloskar & flanged GMS/GMSERW for lowering of column pipe. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge The Rates are for complete job to run the machinery in proper working and should meet with requirements.Energy efficiency level of the motors should be minimum IE2. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guard errection clamps cable clip & depth gauge etc. & suitable for operation on data given below :-

Type of duty : Continuousiv. Mechanical output in KW: Suitable for driving centrifugal pumps required for duties specified against pumps. To avoid overloading of motor a margin of about 15-20% may be kept in the rated output of prime mover. v. Class of insulation: Class- B. vi.
