| 2 | RUBBER LINING OF VESSEL, PIPE, OTHER EQUIPMENT The job involves removal of old damaged rubber lining from the surface of vessels / tanks by scrapping, peeling, cleaning the surface by sandblasting, buffing etc., rubber lining with two layers each of 2.5mm thick including spark testing and other test, carrying out stage wise inspection, curing as per specification, standard (IS: 4682 Part-I latest edition) and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. These also include rubber lining of manholes and nozzles of vessels / tanks. The rates are inclusive of supply of all materials like rubber lining sheets, adhesive, all other consumables, labour skilled, unskilled, tools and tackles etc. Transportation of all the materials / equipment to the worksite and back, sheet cutting, fitting, curing, testing etc. complete the work in all respects and area cleaning after completion of job. |

| 7 | Inside area of the tank has to be lined with three(3) layers of chopped stand mate followed by one layer of surface mate, 3.3 mm thick (isophalalic base). Note: For each additional layer of FRP lining (more than three layers), payment shall be made with escalation of 25% per layer for this item. |
| 8 | Outside area of the tank has to be lined with one layer stand mat and one layer surface mat (isophalalic base), 2.1 mm thick. The composition of the FRP materials should confirm IS 6746:1994& ASTM -D790-49T. |
| 9 | FRP lining of 2.1 mm thick (isophalalic base). Includes coating on ladder, surface plate, support angles, pipe etc. |
| 10 | The job include fabrication of FRP nozzles along with flanges & stiffeners similar to one at site in thickness and other dimensions including supply of all consumables, tools & tackles, manpower, supervision, area cleaning etc upto the full satisfaction of EIC. Note: all such nozzles fabricated and installed shall be guaranteed for a leak/trouble free service life of 6 months from date of installation/commissioning. Defects observed, if any, within the guaranteed period shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to IOCL. |
