4Excavation of cable trench of appropriate size ( normally 1.2m deep and 0.35m /0.5m wide for single/double run) in all classes of soil including breaking clods, watering, ramming and sectioning of soil bank etc. and back filling the soil after cable laying and consolidating the soil in layers of 75cm (excluding laying of cable).
5Laying HT XLPE UG cable of sizes beyond 3x185 sq mm and upto and including 3x300 sqmm including conveying cable from Sub Regional Store/stacking place to work site and laying it carefully using cable rollers, taking through stone ware/G.I.pipes at road crossing/culverts/bridges etc. whereever necessary, providing identification tags at 5m intervals, filling the space around the cable with riddled soil and covering the top with bricks, providing cable route markers at 100m intervals, inclusive of cost of all materials (other than cost of GI/HDPE pipe & UG Cable), labour and transport including crane charges excluding excavation and backfilling.

7Cost of construction of foundation, base plates, fixing anchor bots, loading & unloading, handling, erection, allignment and allied works for the installation of Data Aquisition compatible Extensible type Ring Main Units with terminal protector boots & extension modules, actuators for remote operatios, communicable FPIs, CTs, PTs & relay contacts for SCADA, giving power & control wiring and connections, providing terminal protector, interconnecting RMU bus bar and control cables, providing metered LT supply from nearest LT pole, providing earth leads, cable mounting & terminations, giving connections after ascertaing proper phase sequence, providing location name & warning boards, burying cables & refilling, conducting all precommissioning tests as required, complete, except cost of conveyance. 88Laying of HT UG Cable ( 3*300 mm2 ) by using HDD method is not available in our ERP , but most of the causes we are unable to draw the HT UG cable using open trench method, Hence please add the rate of doing horizontal directional drilling along / across roads, pulling 125 mm HDPE pipe duct and drawing 3*300 mm2 XLPE UG cable through the duct (including surveying the site for other utilities cable / pipes including making test pits. The normal rate we used in our division for HDD work is 2250 / mtr. Hence please sanction this rate in ERP.
89Providing RMU Roof- The revised estimate for the construction of roof for RMU was approved by the Deputy Chief Engineer,Electrical Circle ,Thiruvananthapuram during the year 2019. Rs 1995 per square meter has been decided. The estimate is prepared in the manner of constructing the roof using GI sheet and GI pipe.
