Name of Work:- Improvement to L90 -Dasgoba Road in the District of Puri under MMSY - Improvement to Existing RD Road for the year 2025-26.
Sl. No. Item Description
1Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
2Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead as per Technical Specification Clause 202 of MoRD by manual means & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i) Plain Cement Concete
3(ii) Hume pipes above 600mm to 900mm dia
4Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm (By Mechanical means) and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1000m and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
5Reworking the scarified bituminous surface after supplementing the base materials with sand and water compacting with PRR including hire and running charges of PRR cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.
6Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches in hard soil within initial lead and lift including dressing and leveling the bed upto the required depth and depositing the excavated materials away from the working area etc.complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
7Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5m and lead upto 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 of MoRD.
8Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site by mechanical means, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.2 & clause 305 of MoRT&H specification for Road & Bridge works as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
9Supplying & filling good clean river sand of approved quality including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer in charge.
10Construction of granular sub-base by providing Close Graded Granular sub-base Grading - III material as per table 400-1, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc as per clause 401 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
11Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates of specific sizes to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per Technical Specification Clause 406 of MoSRT&H specification for road & bridge works (4th revision) including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
12Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means for low porosity surface including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.
13Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg/sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular surfaces cleaned with mechanical broom as per Clause 503 of MoSRT&H specifications including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
14Providing & laying compacted Bituminous Macadam (Grading - II ) using 60/70 grade Bitumen with Hot Mix Plant using crusher broken hard granite aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder @ 3.3 % by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to works site, lying with Hydrostatic Paver Finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compacting as per Clause No.106, 108, 111, 112, 501, 503 , 504 and section 900 of specifications for Road and Bridge works of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (5th Revision) & including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, royalty etc complete in all respect and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
15Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of 10mm nominal size (Grading-II) premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheelede,vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
16Construction of un-reinforced, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 1501 of MoRD and direction of Engineer in Charge.
17Fine dressing and turfing including transportation by mechanical means with all leads and lifts and placing of turfs in position and ramming with thapies including watering and cost of labour and all materials etc.complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
18Providing plain cement concrete M-15 with clean black hard granite stone aggregates of 40mm & down graded size of approved quality from approved quarry consistent with strength & cover of concrete & laying in position in layers not exceeding 150mm thick in the proper packing by means of vibrator to proper slope and to the required level including hoisting lowering laying concrete providing side shuttering & finishing all exposed surface smooth supplying & working of pumps, labour & T&P articles & all machineries, dewatering if required with cost conveyance, royality of all materials complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.In Foundation

20R.C.C of design mix of M20 grade having specified characteristics compressive srength/target mean strength of 200kg/ cm² in design mix with minimum quantity of cement as specified in IRC code of 150mm cubes at 28 days curing after mixing and tests conducted in accordance with relavent clause of IS 456/ IS 516/ IRC 216/1987 / IRC 78/1983 using crusher brocken chips of 20mm and down graded size and proportion as specified in clause 302,62 of IRC 21/1987 & IS 10262 and subject to mix design in conforming with the grading & proportion as specified including hoisting, lowering and laying concrete in layers not exceeding 15cm thick compacting with vibrators watering and curing for 28 days including centering & shuttering etc complete with cost,conveyance,royalty of materials,labour charges ,T & P etc required for the work complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in charge but excluding cost, conveyance of tor steel & binding wire labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding, welding & tying the grills lapping splicing etc. where ever necessary & hoisting & placing in position (to be paid separately as required for RCC works). 22Supply of HYSD bars confirming to grade Fe - 500 cutting bending, binding, lapping, splicing, welding etc. (conforming to IS 1786/1985 specification & jointing if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design, hoisting, lowering & laying in position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete (weight of binding wire,laping shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor ) standard CO-efficient of different sizes of the steel shall be considered & welding & lapping should confirm to relevant clause of IRC-21/1987 as per direction of the Engineer in charge.
23Providing weepholes in brick masonry/Plain/Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipes, extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.
24Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain & foundation of other structures with all lead & lift by mechanical means graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 & MORD clause 301.5 as directed by Engineer in charge.
25Providing & laying of hot applied thermoplastic compond 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform & free from streaks & holes as per drawing and Technical Specifications of MoRT&H clause 803 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
26Painting two coats over a coat of priming after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint and cement primer in all shades on new concrete surface as per drawing and Technical specification under section 1700 of MoRD including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.
27Supplying and laying R.C.C. Hume pipes of NP3 class(confirming to relevant IS specification) for culverts including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:3 including cost, conveyance royality, labour, T&P,all other materials required for the work etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.600 mm dia
28Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty, labour and T&P required for the work as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.i) 600mm equilateral triangle

30Providing & fixing guard stones of M-15 grade guard /boundary stone /local stone of standard design as per IRC-25 fixed position as per drawing and Technical Specifications MORD clause 1704 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

33Providing and erecting direction and place identification of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC-67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint white colour in front and grey colour on back with reflective border of 70 mm width and required message, letters, figures, with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of requied shade and colour as per clause no. 1701 of MORD specification for Rural roads and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 34Providing and fixing of typical Citizens information board as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 50 X 5 mm thick, back plate duly welded with 75mm dia steel tubes back on edges as per drawings. The lower & upper plate will be welded with MS flat iron frame of 50mm x 5mm. The steel tubes duly embeded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1
35Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour and T&P required for the work and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
36Maintenance Restoration of Rain-cuts with soil, moorum gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300mm width laying fresh materials in layers not exceeding 250mm and compaction with plate compactor or power rammer to restore the original alignment, level and slopes as per clause 1902 of MORD specification for Rural roads by manual means and as per direction of Engineer-in -charge. 1st Year
