| 1 | Cleaning shurb jungle including uprooting stumps & small bushes and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 2 | Earth work excavation in foundation with hard soil or gravelly soil within 50cm Initial lead and 1.5m initial lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 3 | Excavation Loading unloading and carrage by Mechanical means of all kinds of soil including stoney earth gravel & moorum etc interspread with boulders up to 1/2 cum size with all lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and dipositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the direction of Engineer in Charge within an initial lead of 1 km from the place of excavation complete. .
