Name of Work:- REPAIR/ MAINT OF LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, IMPROVEMENT OF EARTHING AND ALLIED WORKS OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AT DSCC AYODHYA NAGAR UNDER GE DRONACHAL
Sl. No. Item Description
1Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.50m wide and n exc 1.50m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying cables, erection of poles complete all as specified.
2Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.
3Removing surplus excavated soil n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n-exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point.
4Supply and laying sand cushioning for the purpose intrenches and laying of cables in duct/trench including and consiolidation all as specified and directed.
5S&F Sub-Class B Brick, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of Cable laid in Trenches over Sand Cushion laid for UG Cable Protection, complete all as specified and as directed.
6Taking down/out unserviceable UG Cables of any Cross Sectional Area and Connections including Bricks, GI Pipes, etc. of any descriptions, laid in Trenches and/or fixing with Walls/Poles including Segregating of Serviceable Materials viz Bricks, Cables, GI Pipes, etc. and keep in Safe custody for re-use, complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Earth Work shall be Measured and Paid for separately under relevant Items).
7Relaying UG Cable (Serviceable Cable obtained from 06 here-in-before) of any size or any description after carry out repair such as joining with Epoxy Joint and making Connection by using Lugs and Testing, complete all as specified and as directed.(NOTE : Earthwork, Cable Protection Pipe, Cable Joint, Mild Steel Clamps, Nuts & Bolts, etc. for fixing of Cable Protection Pipe with Pole, Wall, etc. shall be Measured and Paid separately under relevant Items).
8Supply and replace in repairs, XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade laid in trenches/floor or fixed on wall/pole including brass compression cable gland, terminal lug etc complete all as specified for the following.
9(a) -ditto- 10 Sqmm 4 Core
10(b) -ditto- 35 Sqmm 3.5 Core
11(c) -ditto- 50 Sqmm 3.5 Core
12(d) -ditto- 70 Sqmm 3.5 Core
13(e) -ditto- but 95 Sqmm 3.5 Core
14(f) -ditto- but 120 Sqmm 3.5 Core
15Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB 160 A ,4 pole ,36 KA (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting with bus bar spreader links for connecting both incoming and outgoing cables with suitable connections with suitable size of glands etc complete including testing & commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
16Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB 250 A ,4 pole ,36 KA (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting with bus bar spreader links for connecting both incoming and outgoing cables with suitable connections with suitable size of glands etc complete including testing & commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
17Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB 400 A ,4 pole ,36 KA (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting with bus bar spreader links for connecting both incoming and outgoing cables with suitable connections with suitable size of glands etc complete including testing & commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
18Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB 630 A ,4 pole ,36 KA (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting with bus bar spreader links for connecting both incoming and outgoing cables with suitable connections with suitable size of glands etc complete including testing & commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
19Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB 63 A ,4 pole ,16 KA (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting with bus bar spreader links for connecting both incoming and outgoing cables with suitable connections with suitable size of glands etc complete including testing & commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
20M&L Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, Nominal Cross-Sectional area from 25 Sqmm upto 50 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.
21M&L Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, Nominal Cross-Sectional area from 70 Sqmm upto 95 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.
22M&L Straight Through Joints (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, nominal Cross-Sectional area from 120 Sqmm but upto. 150 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Earth work for jointing kit will be measured and paid separately
23M&L indoor/Outdoor end terminations (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit heat shinkable including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, nominal Cross-Sectional area from 25 Sqmm upto 50 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.
24M&L indoor/outdoor end terminations Joints kit (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, nominal Cross-Sectional area from 70 Sqmm upto 95 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.
25M&L indoor/outdoor end terminations Joints kit (Epoxy) Cable Joint Kit including Jointing Materials for making Joints of UG Electric Cable 1100 Volt Grade Heavy Duty with PVC/XLPE insulated Aluminium Stranded Conductor, nominal Cross-Sectional area from 120 Sqmm upto 150 Sqmm, 3½ Core and Testing complete all as specified and as directed.
26Supplying and fixing in repair service connection,1100 volts grade,heavy duty cable with PVC insulated,multistranded aluminium conductor,served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed,flat or circular of size 2 core x 6 sqmm,complete all as specified and as directed.
27Supplying and fixing in repair service connection,1100 volts grade,heavy duty cable with PVC insulated,multistranded aluminium conductor,served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed,flat or circular of size 2 core x 10 sqmm,complete all as specified and as directed.
28M&L for scratching out old bubbled paint, finishing the surface two coats of black with synthetic enamel paint of 1st quality to street light pole of any height 4.0 mtr , all as per site including 30 cm height from base to pole to be painted with mint blue synthetic enamel above embedded level, including pole number writting with black colour enamel paint on white colour circular base) with two coat of lime wash on pole coping all as directed by Engr-in-charge.
29M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces, removing dust and other deposited materials by scrapping from LT tubuler pole 9 mtr long along with cross arms and painting of pole with one coat of blue and aluminium paint in alternate strip not exc 150 mm height each upto a height for not exc 1200 mm from ground and painting the rest of the pole one coat of aluminium paint including writing 50 mm size figure/letter over blue black ground for making pole numbers with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
30M&L for scratching out old bubbled paint, finishing the surface with powder coated (smoke green) two coats synthetic enamele paint of 1st quality to LT panels at various location in DSCC campus including Panel number writting with blue colour enamel paint all as directed by Engr-in-charge.
31S & F Digital voltmeter,ammeter of 0-500 v /0-200 amp with VAF + PF meter, Cl 1 fixed in repair of exisiting LT panels confirming of features viz., Accuracy Class 1.0, 0.5,Input voltage measurement range 50-520 VAC (P-P) ,Aux supply 80-300 VAC/DC ,CT secondary site selectable 1A / 5A ,Flush mounting 96 x 96 mm,CT/PT site programmable ,Parameters:VLL, VLN, A, F, PF, On Hrs, RPM, Apeak
32Supply and fixing 32 Amp five pole industrial socket with five pin metal enclosed plug combined plug top unit with interlocked switch and surface mounting box IP 44 complete enclosed all as specified and as directed.
33M & L for disconnect the elect supply including taking out and refixing in position, connecting, commissioning after repair/replacement of unserviceable parts of ACB’s of capacity 1000/800A as follows :- Make : Merlin (as per existing). Note: Spare parts to be included as per requirement.

35Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx 6.3mm thick buried direcly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR part I and earth wire protected by galvanized pipe light grade 40 mm bore and thorugh test point including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of strata, and repair to GI light grade 20mm bore watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 chamber with 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 design mix cover slab with 6mm kdia MS bars at 100mm c/c both ways with MS Hook 6mm dia MS bars etc complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.
36M&L earthing complete with copper plate of 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrodeand 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead electrode buried in ground vertically not less than 2.25mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtrs below ground level with copper strip of size 20x3 mm as earthing lead including necessary excavation and earth work (in any of strata) providing charcoal dust, salt mixed in continuous layer 15 CM all around the plate and balance pit will be filled with vigitable soil approved by engineer in charge, PCC (1:3:6 ) type C1 in chember ,Precast 50 mm thick in cement ( 1: 2:4) type B.1 with CI frame with cover, 20mm dia bore light grade GI watering pipe furnel etc fixing of GI Pipe of suitable size bore protection for earthing wire from earth pit to test point complete & making connection all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Supply and fix Earth continuity conductor copper strip 25 x 4 mm or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing et burried in ground..
38Supply and fix Earth continuity conductor GI strip 32 x 6 mm or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing et burried in ground.
