Name of Work:- Conservation and Restoration of Bandra Fort Part III
Sl. No. Item Description
1Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area .
2Removal of plants/ficus grown by pulling out root system embedded in masnory, cutting stem and application of high/gur/lime formulation as specified by the Architect or other patented chemical biocide treatment such as biocide'Glycel' (isoproplaminesaltofglyphosate) or other chemical as specified by the Engineer in charge etc. complete.
3Removing lime or lean cement concrete including stacking the spoils as directed with all leads, lifts etc, complete.
4Removing the existing cement plaster of any thickness without causing dust nuisance and stacking the debris upto a distance of 50 metres or spreading in the compound and cleaning the site etc. complete.
5Dismantling stone masonry in lime or cement mortar including stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc.
6Removing wire fencing with iron/C.C. fencing post and stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc. complete.
7Removing iron pipe raling having wooden, R.C.C. or C.C. or iron post and stacking the materials as directed etc. complete.
8Excavation for foundation in Hard murum including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary backfilling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5) By Manual Means
9Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete.
10Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying / pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete.
11Providing Uncorsed Rubble Masonry of trap/ granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 1/2, in foundation & plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5mm.(1/2') in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80sq.m (1 square yard), the joints shall be ravked out carefully at least 25mm(1') where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, bailing out water, watering & all exposed masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean & free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
12Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1″) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
13Providing and laying weepholes of 100 mm diameter PVC pipes as per drawing for abutment returns, return walls etc. Complete. (as per site engineer instruction, pipe should be laid in 3 layers as directed)
14Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneissmetal for coping or slab as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer, the concrete must be bitten for two days with pouringwater, scaffolding, watering and all concrete work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains, etc. complete.
15Providing Rectangular Coping Cut-stone First Sort, 20 cm. (8\\") height and 52.5 cm. (1'9\\") wide of trap/granite stones in lime mortar 1:1with size of stone 0.90m. x 0.60m. x 0.21m. as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stone shall be dressed full or to template, exposed face of the stones shall be fine chisel-dressed and all joints shall be in line and close and not more than 3 mm. (%\\") thick, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all coping work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
16Providing Lime Pointing to stone work in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all face or visible work shall be pointed, unless otherwise specified and shall be done while the mortar is fresh, the mortar shall consists of lime and fine sand shall not be ground fine but sand should be finer, the joints of the pointed work shall be neatly defined by the pointing, the lines shall be regular and uniform in breadth and the joints shall be raised or flat as may directed, preparing the lime mortar with 640 gram pulp of wood apple (Belfruit) per cubic metre of lime mortar as a bonding material, scaffolding, watering and all work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
17Providing and fixing Stone Paving, Second Sort in lime mortar 1:1½, with size of stone 45 cm. x 30 cm. x 15 cm., as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be not finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, true for top 25 mm. (1″), the joints running true, the stones to be laid with joints not exceeding 8 mm. (5/16″) thick and to be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true and as per shape at least half the depth from the face, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all paving work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
18Providing Ashlar rough tooled stone steps pf trap/granite stones in limemortar 1:1 1/2 with size of stone (0.60x0.40x0.23m) as per deatailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stones shall be of exact size and shape, the balusters should be cut in the steps before they are laid, each stone shall rest atleast 3.8cm (1 1/2 '') on that below it, the beds or joints being no case more than 3mm. (1/2'') preaparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all steps work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
19Disposing of dismantling materials of stone masonry / brick masonry derbies, excavated material / soil / murum / rubblish material or vegetation / grass / shrubs etc. From work site beyond the 15 km.
20Supplying and installing Dustbin dry and wet separately made as per approved design by architect. (Rusty Granite Stone Dustbins)
21Photography and Videography shooting before and after execution works.
22Providing and fixing stainless steel and Stone masonry Seating, Type 1: 1.4m x 0.45m
23Directional signage - Design, supply, fabrication and fixing arylic multilingual Braille (raised dots) directional signboards of size 6\\"x9\\" designed as per accessibility standards and having 4mm thick acrylic base plate with Upper Case Sans Serif words made of white acrylic non glare cut out letters of height 15mm raised dots not less than 0.8mm above base plate and the equivalent word written in Hindi with Devnagri non glare acrylic letters of height 15mm raised not less than 0.8mm above base plate and having a non glare acrylic cut arrow pointing in the required direction. Each signboard to be fixed as per manufacturers specifications on the wall at the approved location and at a height of 1200mm from FFL and as per the direction by the engineer in charge
24Supplying on site fresh Garden soil (free from stones rubbish like dried grass roots, other such materials) for excavation area of depth of 30 cms.( consolidated thickness)
25Supplying on site well decomposed Farmyard Manure for excavation area of depth of 30 cms. (Consolidated thickness)
26Providing on site required variety of lawn (free from weeds /diesease etc.) Cynadon/ paspalum/ selection for 1 sqm. area dibbling distance 5 cms. apart c/c.
27Excavation for planting lawn/ shrub/ flower bed/ hedges/ edges/ canna bed in earth, soil of all types, soft murum, including removing the excavated material up to a distance of 50 mtrs. for a depth of 30 cms.
28Spreading fresh garden soil / silt & manure in excavated area of depth 30cms.
29Mixing garden soil/silt & manure thoroughly well, watering previous night. Planting reqired plant species, lawn grass as directed etc. complete for required depth 30 cms. for planting lawn/ shrub/ flower bed/ hedges/ edges/ canna bed/ ground cover. (1/10 of semiskilled labour)
