Name of Work:- REPAIR TO DRAIN, BOUNDARY WALL, FENCING, CLEANING & REPAIRS OF SEWAGE LINE & MISC WORKS AT ICGS PIPAVAV UNDER GE(I) CG PORBANDAR

2Maintenance and cleaning of blockage manually by rodding, pumping, etc., for Water Closet (Indian or European pattern), Nahani/floor traps, Soil/waste pipe running on external wall of building and in trenches with fittings, bends, junctions etc., Gully traps and manholes of all description, and removing the deposited sludge/solid/liquid material to the authorised dumping site outside MES/Defence land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned and bleaching powder sprayed for a minimum radius of 3 metres around the point of work, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.
3Desilting of septic tank of any size, including cleaning and taking out mud/sludge, scum and silt (both organic and inorganic in nature) from septic tanks by mechanical means, of any depth, in foul conditions and confined places; the sludge/sludge water so removed shall be disposed of in closed containers at the authorised dumping site declared by the local administration, outside MES/Defence land, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned and bleaching powder sprayed for a minimum radius of 3 metres around the point of work, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.Note: The rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be inclusive of dewatering as required, and nothing extra shall be admissible to the contractor on this account.
4Dewatering of soakage well of any size, including cleaning and taking out sludge water from the soakage well by mechanical means, of any depth, in foul conditions and confined places; the sludge water so removed shall be disposed of in closed containers at the authorised dumping site declared by the local administration, outside MES/Defence land, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned and bleaching powder sprayed for a minimum radius of 3 metres around the point of work, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.
5Material and labour for cleaning and clearing of underground sewage line of any description and any depth, up to 150mm dia sewage lines, (including opening of manhole covers and re-fixing the same after cleaning) by removing any type of blockage, including de-silting, de-choking and flushing after cleaning, and clearing of manholes; the sludge/sludge water so removed shall be disposed of in closed containers at the authorised dumping site declared by the local administration, outside MES/Defence land, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned and bleaching powder sprayed for a minimum radius of 3 metres around the point of work, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.
6Material and labour for removal of RCC cover, cleaning and de-silting of existing storm water drain and making the same functional, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned and all silt, spoil and debris removed to the authorised dumping site, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.
7Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and cutting out existing benching, and forming branch channel (half round or three-quarter section) in cement mortar 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), smooth finished, and reforming benching as required, for internal dia of pipe 150mm, complete all as specified and directed. On completion of work the area of work shall be cleaned of all debris and spoil and made good, to leave the site complete and functional in all respects.
8Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth, for foundations, and getting out, in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
9Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming, in layers not exceeding 1.5m depth, in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
10Removing excavated soil to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m, and depositing where directed, complete all as specified.
11Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate), as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.
12Material and labour for Cement Concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in copings, bed plates, fixing of hold-fasts and other similar works, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed, including use and waste of necessary formwork, complete all as specified.
13Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete, type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed.
14Material and labour for pre-cast RCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate), as in manhole covers and slabs, set in cement mortar 1:4 and finished on all exposed surfaces of concrete even and fair without use of extra cement, for manholes and drains etc., complete all as specified and directed.
15Material and labour for CRS TMT bars, 10mm dia and over, cut to length and bent to shape as required, including cranking, spiral bending for hooping of columns, hooking of ends, and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia, or securing with clips, complete all as specified.
16Demolition and breaking up of drain pipes up to 150mm dia below ground level (salt-glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete pipes) set in cement mortar, including PCC, at any depth, complete all as specified and directed.
17Supply and fixing of 150mm bore Reinforced Concrete pipes, Class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, including all levelling, complete all as specified and directed.
18Material and labour for concrete bed to 150mm dia bore drain pipe, including packing under and surrounding the pipe completely with cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2, after the pipe is laid and tested.
19Supply and fixing, in repairs, of white vitreous china urinal, half-stall type, size 420 x 395 x 635mm (minimum), with grating and union for 50mm discharge pipe (excluding flushing cistern), including urinal pipe fixed to wall in cement mortar 1:2 and pointing around urinal, connected to cistern and flush pipe, including union and grating for discharge pipe, and anti-bacterial, aesthetically designed, rust-proof jet spray, complete all as specified and directed.
20Supply and fixing, in repairs, of vitreous china wash-hand basin, white, flat-back, size 550mm x 400mm, including brass coupling and mild steel brackets fixed to wall, with pedestal, complete all as specified and directed.
21Supply and fixing, in repairs, of vitreous china wash-down water closet pan, pedestal pattern, white, including fixing bolts, flushing cistern and flush pipe with 'P' or 'S' trap, including connection to trap, and making good to floor to match existing, complete all as specified and directed.
22Supply and fixing, in repairs, of PVC (SWR) floor trap of 75mm outlet dia, plain, with grating, including jointing with solvent cement, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
23Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks etc., including cleaning, and re-fixing or removal to store (measured overall as fixed, along the centre line, over fittings and accessories), complete all as specified and directed.

40Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles, and precast concrete articles such as paver blocks, chequered tiles etc., of any description or thickness, in floors, aprons etc., laid dry or laid dry and pointed, complete all as specified and directed.
41Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement to be cut as required to facilitate demolition), complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
42Demolition of dressed stone work, precast concrete articles and precast concrete block walling etc., complete all as specified and directed.
43Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), with solid blocks exceeding 10cm in width, set in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified.
44Taking down cement plaster on brick/stone surface of wall built in cement mortar, including racking out joints, hacking for key, and scrubbing down with water etc., complete all as specified and directed.
45Material and labour for 10mm thick rendering on fair faces of stone work or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4, finished even and smooth without use of extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
46Material and labour for rendering on concrete/brick surfaces, 15mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4, using water-proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, finished even and smooth without use of extra cement, complete all as specified.Note: Water-proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.
47Material and labour for finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade: new work (two or more coats applied @ 1.67 litre/10 sqm), over and including one coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.
48Supply only of integral water-proofing compound.
49Material and labour for 75mm thick Plain Cement Concrete, type B-2, 1:2:4 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in plinth protection, finished even and smooth without use of extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.Note: The plinth protection shall be laid in panels, and the length of each panel shall not be more than 2.00m, all as directed. 6mm joints filled with 85/25 grade bitumen and sand (1:3 ratio) shall be provided. 52Material and labour for 75mm thick Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate), as in sub-base/sub-floor of flooring, paving, path etc., surfaces finished even and fair to receive top layer, complete all as specified and directed.
53Providing and laying 60mm thick, factory-made, chamfered-edge cement concrete paver blocks of M-35 grade, of approved colour, design and pattern, as in footpaths, parks, lawns, driveways or light-traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness and size/shape, made by table-vibratory method using PU mould, laid in the required colour and pattern, over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and properly embedding the interlocking paver blocks into the sand-bedding layer through vibratory compaction using a plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand, cutting of paver blocks to the required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping off excess sand, complete all as specified and directed.
54Material and labour for heavy-duty anti-skid parking tiles, 30cm x 30cm x 8-10mm thick, of approved make, colour, shade and pattern, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry, in floors, with grey cement and no pigments, complete all as specified and directed.
55Material and labour for screed bed/bedding layer of mortar, 15mm thick, for laying floor finishes, in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and directed.
56Material and labour for dismantling and re-fixing of machine-pressed, precast concrete, interlocking reflective coloured paver blocks, of any shape and size conforming to the required standard, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, at site.
