Welding shall be done so that there shall be thorough fusion and complete penetration. Prior to welding, the ends of the pipes shall be fitted closely and they shall be held firmly while welding. Welding the joints shall be done both inside and outside of the pipe of 600mm diameter and above and the joints shall be neatly grinded and finished without any undulations. |
