| 18 | Charges for single joint Bevelled Ends circumferential butt welding for the joint of following thickness of MS pipe with bevelled ends which shall be bevelled to an angle of 30 degree measured from the line perpendicular to the axis of various diameter by matching the ends exactly after properly cleaning, preparing the surface and welding as per IS 3589 (2001) using suitable welding electrode as per IS 814 (Part 2) -1974 (E6010 /E6011/E7016/ E76018) for required thickness. Welding shall be done so that there shall be thorough fusion and complete penetration. Prior to welding, the ends of the pipes shall be fitted closely and they shall be held firmly while welding. Welding the joints shall be done both inside and outside of the pipe of 600mm diameter and above and the joints shall be neatly grinded and finished without any undulations. |
