| 1 | Surface Preparation: Surface to be made clean, dry and sound, free of any contamination by wire brushing Wash the concrete substrate with water pressure jet to remove all loose particles and dust. Ensure the substrate has properly cured and the concrete is profile free, no ridges or troughs. All contaminants should be removed by mechanical vacuum assisted preparation equipment such as scrabbling/shot blasting/diamond grinding to achieve a light abrasive blast to achieve preferred surface profile of CSP 4 or CSP 5. Honeycombs, pin hones, imperfections should be chiselled unitil the sound concrete is reached Clean the surface with water to remove the dirt, dust. It must be flled/ repaired using scratch coat prepare by mixing Dr. Fixit Tank Prime and Dr. Fixit Superseal P100 aggregates in 1:1 ratio. Apply the scratch coat by using suitable spatula/squeeze to get level surface for the upcoming primer. |
| 2 | Pipes treatment: Cleaning and preparation of surface with the help of wire brush or grinder. Clean the surtace with water to remove the dust. Insert the pipe with Dr. Fixit Bathseal tape wrapped over the pipe into the core and support with formwork. AItlernatively, the pipe to be inserted should be appropriately roughened with hacksaw-blade followed by applying acoat of Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding agent and over this, sprinkling sand which wll act as a key to receive non-shrink grout. Pack the core cut junction with non-shrink free flow cementitious grout Dr. Fixit Pidigrout 10M. Mix ready to use grout with water @ ratio of w/p=0.13-0.15 (depending upon the flowability required) with paddle mixer and pour by providing necessary shutlering and support. Allow the grout to set for 24 hrs. And do the moist curing for 5 days. The area around the pipes (10mm) shall be filled with Feviseal PU/Hybrid Sealant. |
| 3 | Priming: Providing and applying Dr. Fixit Tank Prime, which shall be mixed well and applied using roller/brush over the prepared RCC surface in one coat with coverage of 200 gm/sqm. Self-curing time of 3-12 hours depends upon the climatic conditions. (Ensure the primed surface is tacky condition before application of main coat) |
| 4 | Waterproofing Coating: On the Primed surface, providing and applying 2 coats of Dr. Fixit TankPro W after mixing the two components. It shall be applied in two coats by roller only @ 1.4 kg/sq.m. (0.5 kg/sq.m. in 1st coat and remaining in 2nd coat). Let the coating cure for 3-5 days for full cure before conducting water ponding test for 24 Hrs. Gap between the two coats application shall not exceed 12 hours. The coating shall have Specific Gravity: 1.2 and solids content of 100%, Elongation of 100 -+ 10% & Tensile Strength >10Mpa as per ASTM D412, Hardness >40 as per ASTM D 2240, Hydrostatic Pressure resistance of 5bar as per EN12390, Adhesion to concrete >1.5Mpa as per ASTM D7234 and Waler Absorption <0.5 % as per ASTM D570, Certifed by CFTRI as per 21 CFR 175 - 300 of US -FDA for potable water contact all as per manufacturers' specification, etc, complete Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information |
