Flanges will be of IS-6392 specifications. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connecting of flanges to pipeline by welding will be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. |
| 12 | (ii) All standard fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. Make of fittings - ISI marked.(iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging only and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately. (v) Any special fittings to be fabricated at site as per typical site condition will be measured and paid seprately.(vi) Welding of flanges to be done by trained personnels at site and included in the quoted rate for normal flange joints for nominal length of pipes. However if the welding of pipes (other than normal flanged joint at nominal length) is required the same shall be measured and paid separately.(vii) Execution of work should be carried out without hampering the daily routine water supply. |

The complete header shall be painted with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of black synthetic enamel paint, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: .(i) The header shall be provided with 80 mm dia washouts at both the extreme left and right ends, allowing complete drainage of each partition for maintenance purposes. |
