1Removing dry or oil bound distemper, plastic emulsion paint, limewash, colourwash, and the like by scrapping, sand papering, grinding and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.Note:- Removing of emulsion paint, white wash, oil paint or enamel paint ,wood work, steel work etc. by sand paper, wire brush, roll paper etc. to receive fresh coat of paint is also covered under item. Rates includes scaffolding, complete all as directed by EIC. Measurements will be done as per relevant IS Code.
2Providing and applying white cement based putty two or more coat to achieve required finish on wall, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.Note:-for internal walls only, Rates includes scaffolding and sand papering of wall after putty. The thickness of putty should be 0.50 mm or more. Measurements will be done as per relevant IS Code
3Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface (or oil based primer for AC Duct only) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre.Note:- For Internal wall only, rates includes scaffolding. Measurements will be done as per relevant IS Code. Complete all as directed by EIC.
4Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour In TWO coat.Note:- Rates includes scaffolding, crack opening and filling with approved filler material (filling cracks - SBR polymer with cement as per manufacturers specification). Measurements will be done as per relevant IS Code. Complete all as directed by EIC.
5Providing and applying white cement based Exterior grade water proof,water-resistant and polymer-modified wall care putty of two or more coats over plastered surfaces to achieve premium, water-resistant, smooth, even, durable, and weather-resistant finish surface before painting coat, of approved brand and manufacturer.Note:- For external walls only, Rates includes scaffolding ,surface preaparation by sand papering of wall after putty. The thickness of putty should be 0.75 mm or more. Measurements will be done as per relevant IS Code
6Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives.New /old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm, including scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Rates includes scaffolding, surface preparation, removing of old paint / lime washing as required, appying wire brush on existing surface, washing, crack opening and filling with approved filler material (filling cracks - SBR polymer with cement as per manufacturers specification). The paint coefficient will be 1.00 irrespective of applying on plain / sand face plaster / brick surface. No extra measurement will be paid for painting on rough or sand face plaster or brick surface with groove. Complete all as directed by EIC
7Providing and Applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paint on old doors and windows, MS members using 1st quality paint from approved manufacturer of approved colour and shade to give an even shade including scaffolding, removing of old existing paint that is soft, blistered, loose or flanking & cleaning old surface, preparing the surface to receive paint including filling cracks and creaves with Putty or other approved filler materials, applying oil primer coats / anti corrosive zinc based yellow primer to steel work. cost also includes thinner, filler, putty, primer and other materials, necessary labours etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge at all heights, in all floors.Note:- Measurements of doors and windows will be taken as per relevant IS code. Surface area of all MS Members will be taken for measurement (1) Synthitic enamel Paint of approved brand (2) Zinc based yellow Primer (3) Putty suitable to Mild steel members of approved brand (4) Putty on wood work - oil base putty
8Finishing with 2 pack exterior Epoxy paint (two or more coats on old /new surface) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications including appropriate priming coat with epoxy primer (Protectomastic RPL Coating), preparation of MS surface, etc complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.Note:-Paint will be applied on Mild steel , Rates includes scaffolding, removing old paint with using paint remover if necessary . The surface area of MS members (MS stair inside of overhead water tank.) will be measured and paid.
9Lacquer polishing :Two or more coats on new/old works including a coat of wood filler and preparing the surface to receive coats of polishing.
10Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty:Float glass panes of nominal thickness 5 mm (weight not less than 12.5kg/sqm). Note rates are inclusive necessary scaffloding and taking out old damage glass and all necessary to complete the work.

13Providing Mason (skilled) with helper for repairing of beam/column/rcc /brick/filling and removing and relaying of polysulphide materials in expantion joints and other buildings repairing related works etc. with required masonary tools and tackles, stacking of materials within IPR Campus as directed by EIC.Note:- Any consumable material required will be provided by the institute However tools and tackles should be available with them
14Providing Carpenter (skilled) with helper for repairing of wooden work inside buildings where repairing related works etc. with required carpenrty tools and tackles, stacking of materials within IPR Campus as directed by EIC.Note:- Any consumable material required will be provided by the institute However tools and tackles should be available with them.
15Providing Welder (skilled) with helper for welding or repairing work of MS Grill, grating, ISMB, MS hollow section joints and other buildings repairing related works etc. with required welding tools and tackles, stacking of materials within IPR Campus as directed by EIC.Note:- Any consumable material required will be provided by the institute However tools and tackles should be available with them
16Dismantling the old plaster or skirting, raking out joints, and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50mtr lead. Note:- Rates includes scaffolding ,staging & surface preparation. Measurement will be taken in actual area to work to be done, no additional labour rate will be made. Work to be complete in all respect as directed by EIC.
17Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge50mm average thickness

19Providing and applying of zincrich primer with solvent (as specified by manufactures) as a protective coating to steel reinforcement including cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry including all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.Bars up to 12 mm diameter
20Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC or masonry work as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer.
21Providing & Applying polymer modified, flexible cementatious negative side waterproofing coating with elastic waterproofing polymers on interior wall plaster surface in 2(two) coats @18.20 kg /10 sqm. 1st coat of Acrylic cementatious waterproofing polymer(dilution with 2 part of cementatious with 1 part of liquid chemical additive) and After 6-8 hr of 1st coat apply 2nd coat of of Acrylic cementatious waterproofing polymer(dilution with 2 part of cementatious with 1 part of liquid chemical additive) after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove pre-existing paint film & loose particles till plaster is visible,make the surface in SSD condition, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Note:-Rates includes scaffolding, crack opening and filling with approved filler material of Dr Fixit.
22Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).Plastering 25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.
23Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).Plastering 50 mm average thickness in 3 layers.
24Sand faced plaster- 18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished rough using wooden gutka/ Sponge. NOTE: Including scaffolding, curing etc
2515 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) Note: The rate is including scaffolding, curing etc.The Plater should be of single coat Mala finished.
26Providing and fixing GI hexagonal chicken wire mesh of size 12 mm x 22g at the junction of dissimilar surfaces, crack surfaces or where necessary at brick masonry wall and RCC. Rate is inclusive of nails, scaffoding and any other material required to complete the work in all respect.
27Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specified Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20%
28Treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litres per hole by drilling 6 mm dia holes at downward angle of 45 degree at 150 mm centre to centre and sealing the same. (excluding the cost of chemical emulsion)
29Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti-termite treatment (excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) : Treatment of existing floor or joint of floor and skirting using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole at 300 mm interval including 12 mm drilling holes in RCC (if any) and plugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) with matching colour pigment to the full depth of the hole : With Chlorpyriphos/Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration.
30Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1:1½:3 (1 cement : 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stoneaggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). Note:- Rates includes scaffolding ,staging & surface preparation. Measurement will be taken in actual area to work to be done, no additional labour rate will be made. Work to be complete in all respect as directed by EIC.
31Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats . One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 2:1) @ 10 to 11 Sqm/ ltr followed by two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns) @ 0.9 to 1 litre/ Sqm.The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes,washing the surface, opening and filling of all visible cracks (if any) using PU sag (polyurethene) of approved brand etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
32Dismantling dholpur stone slab laid in cement mortar at floor or wall using cutter machine for takingout of damage/broken stone only including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead.
33Providing and laying Dholpur stone slabs 18-20 mm thick in risers of steps, skirting, sill, jamb, dado and pillars laid on 15 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete.
34Providing and laying Dholpur stone slabs (Pink / Red) 30±5 mm thick polished/ rough in floor etc.in required design and pattern wherever required, stones of different finished surface texture, laid on 30 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointed with white/grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35Providing and applying of glass lapi/putti with glass pins including removing of old glass lapi without damage to the glass as instructed by EIC inlcuding scaffolding, disposing of debris etc, for any heights, leads and lift. (Putty conforming to IS 419 shall be prepared by mixing one part of white lead with three parts of finely powdered chalk and then adding the boiled linseed oil to the mixture to form a stiff paste and adding varnish to the paste @ 1 litre of varnish to 18 kg. of paste)
36Providing and fixing of seasoned second class TEAK WOOD BATTENS of required size and class specified below for Glass fixing etc, including removing of the old damaged batten without damage to the glass including scaffolding, nail, screw, disposing of the damaged replaced glass outside campus for any heights, leads and lift. Using Second class seasoned TEAK WOOD. of Approximate size 10 x 10 MM -------- (Measurement will be taken in Rmt of the fixed batten)
37Taking out existing old damaged bituminious felt from roof, parapet etc.preparing the surfaces by removing all spoils, blisters, moss etc from working site, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre leadas per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
38Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3 mm thickNote: APP membrance to be apply over GI water supply line (conceal / under ground / open)
