| 8 | Surface Preparation:All loose and de-bonded concrete/ screed, grass, roots, loose particles, dirt & shall be removed. Roof substrates must be pressure-washed with water with a minimum working pressure of 1,400 psi to be used to and/or remove all dirt, dust, chalking and waste products. Remove algae, mold by using bleach solution or biowash. |
| 9 | Crack Repair:All visible hairline cracks on concrete roof screed more than 0.50 mm and not giving hollow sound, should be cut and widen in V shape with mechanical cutter in the size (8mm W x 6mm D). any filling of cracks with Dr. Fixit PU sealant / Hybrid Sealant with suitable gun and smoothed with a putty knife or trowel. Allow sealant to cure a minimum (72 Hrs.) 3 days. |
| 10 | Screed Repair:Remove loose and damaged concrete roof screed in pockets with mechanical cutter. Clean the concrete screed with high pressure water jet to remove dirt and loose particles. brush apply a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP mix in the ratio of 1:1 (URP 1: Cement 1) by volume to make it lump free slurry when applied on in the pre wet surface. laying of fall roof screed in correct slope and gradient. Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10% by weight of cement in (M20) concrete in ratio of 1:1.5:3 i.e., one bag of 50kg cements: 1.5 times volume of sand: 3 times volume of aggregates: 25L water per cum of concrete. Level the repair mortar and finish with trowel. Moist cureof screed should be done for 7days. followed by Air curing screed for 4-5 days, before application of roof treatment. |
| 11 | Rainwater outlets treatment: Hacking and chipping the surface around the rainwater drain outlet up to25mm in depth. Apply bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP in the ratio of 1:1 (URP 1: Cement 1) by volume over the corners and pipe insert outlet gaps. Filling the gaps around drain mouth with (PMM) polymer modified mortar mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10% by weight of cement in the ratio of 1:3. Providing & fixing 100 mm width 225-gsm g/m2 Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat around the periphery of drain mouth of rainwater outlet sandwiched with Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100. Apply two thick coats of Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 waterproofing coating to completely cover the mesh/fabric and surrounding area. |

| 13 | Waterproofing Application:Premix Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 Components A and B using an electric double-paddle mixer at low speed for 2–3 minutes until a uniform blend is achieved, without dilution. Apply the waterproof coating on an SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition. Apply the first coat at a rate of 0.80–0.90 kg/m² using a lamb’s wool roller. While the coating is still wet, roll and embed a 225 gsm Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat, ensuring full bonding without air bubbles or wrinkles, and overlap joints by at least 5 cm at endpoints. Allow the first coat to dry for 3–4 hours. Apply the second coat at a 90° angle to the first coat at 0.70–0.80 kg/m² once the surface is dry enough to walk on. Additional coats may be applied as required to achieve a dry firm thickness a DFT of 1000 microns, with an overall material consumption of approximately 1.60 kg/m² over 2–3 undiluted coats. The coating should terminate below the drip mould on vertical surfaces. The system complies with ASTM and EN standards, achieving: Tensile Strength: ≥15 N/mm², Tear Strength: ≥100 N/mm,Dynamic Crack Bridging: EN 1062-7 & ASTM C1305-2016, Shore A Hardness: 85, Zero Water Permeability: at 10 bar (EN 12390-8:2019), Water Migration Resistance: No leakage, Low Temperature Flexibility: -20°C after 1000 hrs UV (ASTM D1970-2021), Solar Reflectance Index: 90 (ASTM E1980 for white). Peel Adhesion to Concrete (Wet Condition, 24 hrs): ASTM C794-12, The system confirms compliance with EN 13251:2016 for a 25-year service life when used with a 225-gsm fiberglass mat. It is backed by a 10-year waterproofing warranty from M/s Pidilite Industries Ltd. For vertical surfaces and parapet walls, apply Dr. Fixit Raincoat Classic or Dr. Fixit Raincoat Select as a protective waterproof coating. |

Authorised applicator of the company with trained/ skilled workers will only be allowed to execute the work and the applicator will submit the authorization and experience certificate from the company. 2. The entire quantity of material will be calculated and brought on site as decided by Engr-in-Charge and will be accepted only post verification of PVs and Challan from the company through Mail. 3. Material will be kept in the custody of MES rep and will be issued to the authorised applicator as per requirement 4. Stage passing register will be properly maintained. 5. The contractor shall submit manufacturer generated 10 years warranty card during submission of RAR and Final Bill 6. A guaranty amount @ 10% will be kept as reserve till completion of warranty period and will be released thereafter.7. Any deterioration during the warranty period will be rectified by the manufacturer without any financial effect. 8. The roof in scope is accessible roof and following items of work are also going to be executed on the same roof:- (a) Demolition & Reconstruction of tank staging. (b) Replacement of GI pipe network. (c) Replacement of existing parapet wall with MS grill. (d) Demolition of existing protrusion of crumple joint and making it good by brick work. 9. The applicator will inspectthe site after all such works and inspect for any shortcomings. If any shortcoming is there, the same will be intimated to the Dept. Dept will get the same rectified. 10. The applicator will start the work only after satisfying himself about surface condition A confirmation in this regard shall also be submitted to dept.11. Ponding test shall be carried out for 72 Hrs after completion of roof treatment and ponding shall be done by applicator with company technical rep as per manufacturer’s instruction and finally passed/ directed by Engr-in-Charge/GE. |
