| 1 | Excavation in hilly Area by mechanical in all height and depth in all kind of soil including, saturated soils comprosing of mixed siol, ordinary rock and hard rock and all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side, water pollution etc and to protect stability of hill side, the track shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All Earth work in cutting/ excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades , side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in connformity with the requirement of MORD 2014 technical specification for Rural Road, Clause 302, 1603.1, 1603.2 and section 300, 1600, 2100 General conditions for contract to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materail useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of surplus debri to approved dumping sites arranged by the contractor in specified dimensions or as dircted by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding. The Recovery for stone, whether useful or not for nill cubic metershall be made in all case at the rate of rupee 300/ only (rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be efffected on pro-rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be absolute responsibility of the contractors, which shall compensated by him in all case. |
