1Note to Item Nos. 1.01 to 20.00: Removal of the following existing unserviceable components of various MES furniture items or similar furniture items shall be carried out carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts. Supply and fixing of new components in lieu of the dismantled components, including tightening of joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, welding, gluing, providing hinges wherever required, applying putty to level the surface, reassembling and placing every part intact in its original position, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall also include preparation of disturbed surfaces and painting of steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing shade by spray gun over one coat of red oxide primer wherever required, after proper surface preparation and smoothening with sand paper. The work shall be executed at the locations where the furniture exists in various User Units under GE Haddo, including BSO's Furniture Yard, Haddo, during office working hours only, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
2Chair Computer all type:- Supply and fixing in replacement of pedestal (bottom) made of heavy-duty injection moulded black 30% glass-filled nylon, having 600 mm pitch circle diameter with five equally spaced legs, complete with 10.5 mm diameter forged bright zinc-plated MS castor pins press-fitted into each leg for fixing twin-wheel castors. The pedestal shall be suitable for computer chair with arms of existing make/trade pattern. The rate shall include removal of the unserviceable pedestal, fixing of the new pedestal with all necessary adjustments, replacement/refixing of castors wherever required, testing for smooth movement and stability, and making the chair fully serviceable, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
3Supply and fixing in replacement of hydraulic height adjustment base assembly of chairs computer of existing chair/trade pattern complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
4Supply and fixing in replacement of arm rests made of high-strength polyurethane reinforced with MS inserts, of approved quality and matching the existing make/trade pattern of the chair, including removal of the unserviceable arm rests, providing all necessary nuts, bolts, screws, washers and other fixing accessories, proper alignment, tightening and making all adjustments to ensure firm fixing and comfortable use, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5Supply and fixing in replacement of seat of chair computer with arms made out of 12mm thick pressed plywood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam of existing chair/trade pattern complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
6All as per ser No 1.03 here in before but back. The back foam shall be designed with contour lumber support for extra confort with PVC leaping all round of chair computer of existing chair/trade pattern complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

24Supply and fixing in replacement of arm rests made of high-strength polyurethane reinforced with MS inserts, of approved quality and matching the existing make/trade pattern of the chair, including removal of the unserviceable arm rests, providing all necessary nuts, bolts, screws, washers and other fixing accessories, proper alignment, tightening and making all adjustments to ensure firm fixing and comfortable use, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
25Supply and fixing in replacement of rubber shoe (leg cap) made of heavy-duty black non-marking rubber/PVC of approved quality and suitable size to match the existing chair/trade pattern, complete with removal of the unserviceable rubber shoe, fixing the new rubber shoe firmly on the chair leg, ensuring proper fit, level, stability and protection of floor surface, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
26Preparation and painting of visitor's chair by removing rust, old loose paint, dirt and other foreign matter by scraping, wire brushing, rubbing down with emery paper and cleaning the surface, applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on bare steel surfaces wherever required, followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade by spray gun, including touching up of disturbed portions, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
27Chair writing all type:- Removing the existing torn/damaged upholstery rexine from the seat of visitor/computer chair and providing new upholstery with approved quality rexine not less than 0.8 mm thick, over 40 mm thick polyurethane foam of 40 ± 2 kg/m³ density, including replacement of hessian cloth/non-woven backing wherever required, stitching, pasting with suitable adhesive, stretching and fixing with staples, trimming excess material, refixing the seat to the existing frame and making good all disturbed portions. The upholstery shall match the existing trade pattern and the colour and shade of the rexine shall be as approved by GE/BSO. The rate quoted shall include removal and disposal of the unserviceable upholstery, all labour, materials, T&P and incidental charges, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
28Removing the existing torn/damaged upholstery rexine from the back rest of visitor/computer chair and providing new upholstery with approved quality rexine not less than 0.8 mm thick, over 25 mm thick polyurethane foam of 40 ± 2 kg/m³ density, including replacement of hessian cloth/non-woven backing wherever required, stitching, pasting with suitable adhesive, stretching and fixing with staples, trimming excess material, refixing the back rest to the existing frame and making good all disturbed portions. The upholstery shall match the existing trade pattern and the colour and shade of the rexine shall be as approved by GE/BSO. The rate quoted shall include removal and disposal of the unserviceable upholstery, all labour, materials, T&P and incidental charges, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

32Supply and fixing in replacement of seat cushion for \\"Chair Ornate Supreme\\" of approved quality and matching the existing make/trade pattern, comprising moulded polyurethane foam of suitable density upholstered with approved quality fabric/mesh/rexine as existing, complete with removal of the unserviceable seat cushion, transferring/refixing the existing seat base and fixing hardware wherever required, making all necessary adjustments and ensuring proper fit, finish and comfort. The colour and shade of the upholstery shall match the existing chair or be as approved by GE/BSO. Complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
33Supply and fixing in replacement of back cushion for \\"Chair Ornate Supreme\\" of approved quality and matching the existing make/trade pattern, comprising moulded polyurethane foam of suitable density upholstered with approved quality fabric/mesh/rexine as existing, complete with removal of the unserviceable back cushion, transferring/refixing the existing back support and fixing hardware wherever required, making all necessary adjustments and ensuring proper fit, finish and comfort. The colour and shade of the upholstery shall match the existing chair or be as approved by GE/BSO. Complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
34Supply and fixing in replacement of table top made of 18 mm thick MDF board, laminated on top surface with decorative laminate of approved shade and finish and balancing laminate on the underside, complete with 2 mm thick PVC edge beading machine pressed on all exposed edges, matching the existing size and trade pattern of computer table. The item shall include removal of the unserviceable top, cutting, drilling and providing holes/notches wherever required, fixing with suitable screws, brackets and other necessary fittings, making good all disturbed portions and ensuring proper alignment and finish, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35Supply and fixing in replacement of keyboard tray made of 18 mm thick MDF board with decorative laminate finish and 2 mm thick PVC edge beading on all exposed edges, complete with one pair of 18-inch heavy-duty telescopic MS ball-bearing drawer channels (minimum 45 kg load capacity), matching the existing size and trade pattern of the computer table. The item shall include removal of the unserviceable keyboard tray and channels, fixing the new tray with telescopic channels, all necessary screws, brackets and fittings, proper alignment, smooth sliding operation, testing and making good all disturbed portions, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
36Supply and fixing in replacement of shelf component (top/vertical side/bottom) made of 18 mm thick MDF board, laminated on the exposed faces with decorative laminate of approved shade and finish and balancing laminate on the reverse face wherever applicable, complete with 2 mm thick PVC edge beading machine pressed on all exposed edges, matching the existing size and trade pattern. The item shall include removal of the unserviceable component, cutting, drilling, grooving and notching wherever required, providing all necessary screws, dowels, connectors, adhesive and other fixing accessories, proper alignment, making good all disturbed portions and ensuring the furniture is restored to its original condition, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
37Supply and fixing in replacement of drawer made of 18 mm thick MDF board with decorative laminate finish on exposed surfaces and balancing laminate wherever applicable, complete with 2 mm thick PVC edge beading on all exposed edges, fitted with one pair of 18-inch heavy-duty telescopic MS ball-bearing drawer channels (minimum 45 kg load capacity), matching the existing size and trade pattern. The item shall include drawer front, sides, back and bottom, removal of the unserviceable drawer and channels, providing all necessary screws, connectors, adhesive, drawer knob/handle, lock (where existing), and other fixing accessories, ensuring smooth sliding operation, proper alignment and finish, making good all disturbed portions, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
38Supply and fixing in replacement of nylon buffer (shoe) of approved quality, heavy-duty injection moulded nylon, suitable size and shape to match the existing make/trade pattern of the furniture, complete with removal of the unserviceable nylon buffer, fixing the new buffer firmly by press fit/screw fixing as applicable, carrying out necessary adjustments to ensure proper alignment, smooth operation and protection against direct contact with the floor or adjoining surface, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
39Supply and fixing in replacement of drawer lock of approved quality, 6-lever pin tumbler/cylindrical type, suitable for computer table drawer of existing make/trade pattern, complete with two keys, lock body, striker plate, fixing screws and all necessary accessories, including removal of the unserviceable lock, fitting, alignment, necessary cutting/adjustments wherever required, testing for smooth locking and unlocking operation, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
40Chair cushion with arm:- S&F of new seat made of 12 mm thick BWR grade plywood, over which 50 mm thick, 32 kg/m³ density foam cushion shall be fixed, with PVC lipping provided all round. The plywood and foam cushion shall be upholstered/covered with best quality fabric as per trade pattern or as approved by BSO/GE, including all necessary materials, labour, fixing and finishing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
41S&F new back made of 12 mm thick BWR grade plywood, over which 50 mm thick, 32 kg/m³ density foam cushion shall be fixed, with PVC lipping provided all round. The plywood and foam cushion shall be upholstered/covered with best quality fabric as per trade pattern or as approved by BSO/GE, including all necessary materials, labour, fixing and finishing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
42Supply and fixing in replacement of arm rests made of high-strength polyurethane reinforced with MS inserts, of approved quality and matching the existing make/trade pattern of the chair, including removal of the unserviceable arm rests, providing all necessary nuts, bolts, screws, washers and other fixing accessories, proper alignment, tightening and making all adjustments to ensure firm fixing and comfortable use, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

44Bed (Zuari Model-359) , S&F size 900 mm × 2000 mm, comprising top made of 12 mm thick BWR grade plywood of approved make such as Archidply/CenturyPly/Greenply, including bed frame, necessary supports, joints, screws, fasteners, fittings and all necessary materials, labour and finishing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
45S&F plywood top, for made of rubber wood, size 3 ft × 6 ft (900 mm × 1800 mm), with top made of 12 mm thick BWR grade plywood of approved make such as Archidply/CenturyPly/Greenply, including rubber wood frame, legs, supports, joints, screws, fasteners and other necessary fittings, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
46Chair 3-Seater: Removing the existing old, torn/damaged tapestry mesh/cloth/rexine from the seat of the chair and providing new tapestry/cloth/rexine over a layer of 75 mm thick, 40 kg/m³ density foam, as per trade pattern/existing pattern of the chair, including cutting, stitching, fixing and finishing complete. The colour and shade of tapestry/cloth/rexine shall be as approved by BSO/GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
47Removing the existing old, torn/damaged tapestry mesh/cloth/rexine from the back of the chair and providing new tapestry/cloth/rexine over a layer of 75 mm thick, 40 kg/m³ density foam, as per trade pattern/existing pattern of the chair, including cutting, stitching, fixing and finishing complete. The colour and shade of tapestry/cloth/rexine shall be as approved by BSO/GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
48Rack adjustable shelves, steel, size 1875 × 900 × 530 mm: Repairs to existing shelves by removing/opening the existing clips/rivets, straightening and making the damaged portions smooth and even by suitable denting, application of metal putty and necessary finishing, and refixing the shelves in position with replacement of all unserviceable clips/rivets, including all necessary materials, labour and incidentals, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
49Supply and fixing of new shelf by opening/removing the existing clips/rivets, providing and fixing new shelf of required size and profile, and refixing in position with replacement of all unserviceable clips/rivets, including necessary cutting, drilling, fasteners, labour and incidentals, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

55Supply and fixing of new replacement lock of approved make, suitable for existing Godrej steel almirah, including necessary minor adjustments to the existing locking arrangement, screws, fasteners and all other accessories required for proper and smooth operation, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
56Supply and fixing of CP handle of approved make and quality, as approved by BSO/GE, conforming to the existing trade pattern, including all necessary screws, fasteners and minor fittings, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

59Supply and fixing of new shelf by opening/removing the existing clips/rivets, providing and fixing new shelf in position and refixing with replacement of all unserviceable clips/rivets, including necessary cutting, drilling, fasteners, labour and minor adjustments, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
60Supply and fixing of new door by removing the existing door from hinges, providing and fixing new door in position and refixing with replacement of all unserviceable hinges, including necessary cutting, fitting, screws, fasteners and minor adjustments, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
