Name of Work:- ANNUAL AFLOAT REPAIR OF WB JAMANTHY AT IWT MARADU TERMINAL KOCHI DURING THE YEAR 2026-27

1Surface preparation of deck (required portion) and super structure including out fittings by chipping, scrapping, wire brushing, buffing etc properly such as onboard deck, anchor winch, air vent pipes, bollards, wheel house, top of galley, railings, hatches, wheel house doors, (rear side of vessel) & other fittings etc including labour and material Cost
2Painting of entire deck (from water level to deck surface) and super structure including out fittings such as onboard deck, anchor winch, air vent pipes, hand pumps, bollards, wheel house, top of galley, railings, hatches, wheel house doors, engine room inside (total sides, top & ladder etc), stern gear compartment inside (rear side of vessel), toilet, bath room, canopy & other fittings etc with 2 coat of epoxy primer and 2 coats of epoxy marine quality enamel of existing colour properly including labour and material Cost.
3Renewal of above water level hull and onboard deck steel plates (IS2062) of 5 / 6 mm thick of ship building quality after cropping and removal of the damaged plates by gas cutting without any damages to other fittings & also sections of underwater portion pipe to assed (to be done after getting ultrasonic test report and recommendation of Surveyor, Port Dept, Govt of Kerala) and also Re fabrication damaged anchor plate as per marine standard including labour and material cost
4Overhauling of over board, the other valves on bilge, fire hydrant valves, Fuel valves and cleaning of mud box fittted onboard properly including labour cost
5Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
6Electrical rectification of the Engine Room control panel, including inspection of all electrical circuits and connections, renewal of damaged wiring, terminals, switches, indicator lamps, and other defective components as required. The work shall include rectification of voltage fluctuation during generator operation, ensuring proper changeover and safe operation on both shore power and generator supply, replacement of damaged bulbs and fluorescent tubes, and supply and installation of 6 Nos. LED lights in the Engine Room complete with wiring, switches, fittings, and accessories. The work shall also include testing, commissioning, and making the entire electrical system fully functional. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, testing, commissioning, and incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work.
7Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
8Strengthening of side railings of onboard including engine room top, wheel house front etc, renewal of M.s Pipe with new ones at damagaed portions properly by croping, welding etc including labour & material cost
9Servicing of fire & bilage alaram (which is not working properly), the issue shall be rectified and renew all damaged wires inside wheel house and also repairing of solinoid switch in engine room and damaged gauages in engine room and wheelhouse including labour Cost.
10Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
11Renewal of damaged MS sea water pipelines, including flanges, bends, reducers, gaskets, fasteners, and all associated end fittings connected to both port and starboard gear oil coolers and both port and starboard main engine lubricating oil coolers, as per the existing sample/site measurements. The work shall include dismantling, fabrication, supply, surface preparation, fitting, welding, hydrostatic testing, painting, commissioning, and making the complete pipeline system leak-proof and fully operational. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, transportation, and all incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work
12Overhauling of both main engine fuel pumps (port and starboard) and the auxiliary engine fuel pump, including dismantling, inspection, cleaning, replacement of worn-out parts as required, reassembly, testing, and calibration through an authorized/reputed agency. The work shall include submission of calibration certificates for all fuel pumps along with the bills. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour charges, consumables, tools, transportation, testing, and incidental charges.
13Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
14Overhauling of both side main engine oil cooler and Gear Oil cooler including labour charges
15Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
16Renewal of the damaged rubber flexible coupling and all other associated coupling components fitted between the STBD side PTO and the fire pump, including dismantling of the existing coupling assembly, supply and installation of a new rubber flexible coupling and replacement of all worn-out or damaged coupling parts such as hubs, bushes, keys, pins, bolts, nuts, washers, sleeves, and other associated components, as required. The work shall include proper alignment of the PTO and fire pump, refitting, testing, and commissioning to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation. The rate shall be inclusive of the supply of all materials, labour, consumables, tools, tackles, transportation, testing, commissioning, and all incidental charges required to make the fire pump drive system fully operational to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
17Charges for Repair of the navigation panel, including dismantling, rectification of damaged portions, renewal of damaged marine-grade plywood, replacement of corroded/damaged bolts, nuts, washers, and other fastening arrangements, as required. The work shall also include renewal of laminates/finishing, sealing, painting or polishing (where required), refitting of all navigation instruments, switches, and accessories, alignment, testing, and making the navigation panel structurally sound and fully functional. The rate shall be inclusive of the supply of all materials, labour, consumables, tools, tackles, transportation, and all incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
18Charges for Renewal and fitting of the damaged FWD side manhole cover, including dismantling and removal of the existing cover, supply, fabrication and installation of a new manhole cover of approved quality and suitable dimensions to match the existing arrangement. The work shall include renewal of the gasket, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, and all other associated fittings as required, ensuring a proper watertight and leak-proof seal. The work shall also include testing, adjustment, painting of repaired/new surfaces, and commissioning. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, transportation, and all incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge
19Charges for Renewal of damaged rubber packing for all weather-tight hatches, and wheelhouse doors, including removal of the existing rubber packing, surface cleaning and preparation, supply and fitting of new marine-grade rubber packing of approved quality and suitable profile as per the existing arrangement. The work shall include renewal of adhesive, fasteners, retaining strips, and other associated fittings wherever required, proper alignment and adjustment of hatch/door closing arrangements to ensure effective weather-tight and watertight sealing. The work shall also include testing for proper sealing and making all hatches and wheelhouse doors fully functional. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, transportation, and incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
20Charges for Overhauling of the FWD side hand pump, including dismantling, inspection, cleaning, servicing, replacement of worn-out or damaged components such as piston, plunger, seals, O-rings, gland packing, valves, springs, gaskets, bearings, fasteners, and other associated parts as required. The work shall include reassembly, alignment, testing, and commissioning to ensure smooth operation and the required pumping performance. The rate shall be inclusive of the supply of all necessary consumables, labour, tools, tackles, transportation, testing, commissioning, and all incidental charges required for the satisfactory completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
21Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis
22Fitting of new wooden panellling (flywood of 12 mm) along with glass wool insulation in accomodation area including labour and material charges.
23Supply and fitting of a new searchlight operating handle, including dismantling of the damaged handle, supply, installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning, complete with all necessary fittings, labour, materials, consumables, and incidental charges to make the searchlight fully operational.
24Re-writing of the vessel name and identification details in the existing typeface, design, size, and colour. The scope also includes marking the vessel name, registration number, and port of registry on all Life Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA) with clear visibility, in accordance with KIV rules and applicable statutory requirements.The quoted price includes all labour, materials, equipment, and consumables required to complete the work.
