Any damage caused to such utilities shall be immediately repaired or replaced by the contractor at no extra cost to the Employer and to the satisfaction of the concerned utility authority.After completion of the sewer connection, the trench shall be backfilled with approved material in layers and the road restored to its original condition by providing and compacting Water Bound Macadam (WBM), metalling, Bituminous Macadam, binder course, wearing course, prime coat, and tack coat, as applicable, in accordance with the relevant MoRTH/IRC Specifications. Each layer shall be compacted with suitable vibratory/road rollers to achieve the specified density and finished to the required line, level, camber, and grade.The item shall also include providing cement concrete in 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), cement plaster in 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, forming necessary channels for the drain, disposal of surplus excavated material, reinstatement of all disturbed areas, making good all damages, and cleaning the site after completion.The contractor shall provide, maintain, and remove all traffic diversion and traffic management arrangements, including barricades, caution boards, reflective signages, warning lights, cones, flagmen, temporary diversions, and all other safety measures required by the Engineer-in-Charge and the concerned road authority for safe and uninterrupted movement of traffic throughout the execution of the work.The rate shall include all materials, labour, tools and plants, machinery, transportation, excavation, dewatering, protection and maintenance of existing utilities/services, road restoration, testing, statutory permissions, liaison with utility agencies, disposal of surplus material, and all incidental and ancillary works necessary to complete the sewer connection in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.( This excludes any fees for obtaining necessary permission from the concerned department) Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information |
