| 2 | Disconnect power cable from motor terminal box after necessary precaution. Decouple line shaft and head shaft and dismantle motor after dismantling thrust block, thrust bearing and lock nut. Lift the motor and keep it safe position the floor as per direction of EIC. |
| 3 | Lift the pump after disconnecting from discharge bend. Dismantle column pipe, shaft enclosing guard pipe, pump shafts, diffuser, bell mouth, impeller and other accessories step by step and rest them on the floor neatly as per direction of EIC. |
| 4 | 10 mm thick M.S plate as per IS:2062-2011 make SAIL/TATA for surface development of 600 mm dia. 6.5 mt. long pipe column pipe and 12 mm thick stiffeners around flanges and base plate considering 15 % extra metal for waste of material due to cutting and edge preparation for welding. |
| 5 | Welding in M.S structural work with flux coated electrode (b) continuous welding along pipe seam and around flanges and stiffeners.After root run, weave electrode so that metal fuses uniformly on both plates for every subsequent run. Remove slag and clean weld bead by chipping hammer and wire brush after every run. |

| 10 | Beveling edge of 10 mm plate for single-V butt joint. Included angle is 70 degrees. Leave 3 mm square surface at bottom on both edges for root run. |

| 12 | Sand blasting of column pipe surfaces thoroughly to remove rust and to create surface texture to adhere primer. |
| 13 | Apply Zinc phosphate primer on the blast surface after cleaning the surface. |
| 14 | Mix branded Epoxy resin and hardener in the ratio by volume or weight as per recommendation of manufacturer of paint. Stair well the mixture for uniform and consistent mixture and wait few minutes to let bubbles come out of mixture. Apply the mixture on the primer coated surface by roller. Wait 24 hours for drying before applying next coat. Allow 6/7 days to dry after finish paint for curing of paint and adherence of paint to the surface for durability. |
| 15 | Lower repaired column pipe and flange join with gasket. Assemble diffuser, bell mouth, impeller with pump shaft. Join pump shaft, line shaft with threaded socket coupling. Install pump on the base plate and tighten nuts & bolts. Connect pump discharge with discharge bend and gate valve. |
| 16 | Install pump motor on the stool. Couple line shaft with head shaft by flexible coupling with perfect alignment. Assemble thrust block, thrust bearing and lock nut on top of the motor. Connect power cable with motor terminal box. Conduct trial run to ensure smooth running. |
