1The scope under the proposed tender is covering the Ground Connectivity works for Domestic/Commercial/Industrial customers for GAIL Gas Bengaluru CGD Project.Handling, Receipt, Loading, unloading, storing, reloading, transportation, Uncoiling, laying of PE100, SDR11 line pipes of all sizes (Free Issue Material from Owner's designated store within GA) including, proper stacking, and supply of accessories of all sizes & thickness like PE Bends, Saddle, Couplers, Endcaps, Tee(Equal/ Reducing), Reducer, CS / GI to PE Fittings (i.e. Transition Fittings of sizes 20 mm to 63 mm), (excluding asphalt road crossing width from road edge to road edge covered separately under item C1) in case road crossing is required for connectivity) laying /installation of PE pipe in any method (Open Trench/Moling/rat-boring/ auger method, etc. including execution of all associated works/consumables etc. for Ground Connectivity works from charged MDPE pipeline to customer premise.Carrying out preliminary & final survey activities for crossings encountered in pipeline route and preparation of drawings with crossing methodology etc. wherever required and submission of drawings to Owner/Engineer-in-charge for review / approval.Getting approval/permissions /clearances for execution from concerned authorities, utility operators, etc, Dismantling/demolition/Rock breaking of RCC/ PCC/ Paver Blocks/ Footpath/Asphalt/Bitumen, all types of soils including soft/ rocky strata / roads etc., chiselling or otherwise cutting etc. as required and storing excavated soil etc. for pit excavation, Excavation of the soil, to determine the underground utilities/ services, charged pipelines, etc., Barricading the work area, restoration of the excavated portion to original condition and final clean up, to entire satisfaction of Owner/Engineer-in-charge and/or concerned authority as per the typical restoration drawing.The minimum depth of the top of pipeline shall be 1.0 m measured from top of pipeline to the top of undisturbed surface of the soil or as per Specification/ OISD - 226 & PNGRB latest guidelines whichever is higher. Dewatering of trenches / pits if required as per site condition. Repairing of all damaged utilities if any, and payment of any compensation Laying of PE pipelines with associated fitting, jointing of the pipe ends / fittings using approved electro-fusion techniques
2Padding around pipeline with soft soil, backfilling to its original condition with excavated earth / borrowed select soil/sand & its compaction & crowning & restoration as per the attached drawing and shall be made ready for motorable. All tiles/slabs/curb stones etc removed during excavation shall be placed properly.The scope of work against laying of 20/32/63/90 mm pipe, online tapping with saddle/tee with the existing charged pipeline. In case, the minimum required depth is not possible due to site condition, necessary mitigation measures shall be required to be taken by contractor in consultation with EICFlushing, Pneumatic testing and commissioning, providing all tools and tackles, instruments, manpower and other related accessories.On completion of gas charging of pipelines. Preparation and submission of As-built drawings, crossings details, termination, utility graphs and deviation statements. On completion of gas charging of pipelines. 10Excavation of soil for a depth more than 1.5 upto 2.0m, additional payment shall be made as per this SOR item beyond the SOR item no.B1
11Excavation of soil for a depth more than 2.0m, additional payment shall be made as per this SOR item beyond the SOR item no.B2
12Ground Connectivity Work (upto 10m length): Laying /installation of PE pipe in any method (Open Trench/Moling/rat-boring/ auger method, etc Laying of PE pipeline of sizes 20/32/63mm for a length upto 10m by any method, joining with PE fittings, Saddle/Tee for online tapping through electro fusion with the charged pipeline, PE Bends, Saddle, Couplers, Endcaps, Tee(Equal/ Reducing), Reducer, CS / GI to PE Fittings (i.e. Transition Fittings of sizes 20 mm to 63 mm), providing end plug on the TF, flushing/testing, including execution of all associated works/consumables etc. for Ground Connectivity works from charged MDPE pipeline to customer premise. Back filling the excavated pit etc.Supply of all the PE fittings, saddle, TF etc. are in the scope of the contractor. PE pipes shall be free issue material to the contractor.
13Asphalt Road Crossing by using mechanical excavator /Moling machine/HDD or manually depending upon the site condition: Laying of MDPE Pipeline for asphalt road crossing over and above item C (crossing road width to be considered from road edge to road edge) or opposite road edge to the pit made for carrying out MDPE laying as per item C20 mm /32 mm/63 mm PE 100 pipe
14Restoration & Clean up: Backfilling & Restoration of the excavated pit to the original condition as per the restoration Drawing
15Restoration of RCC M20-1:1.5:3, M25--1:1:2,
16Restoration of PCC M5 -1:5:10, M7.5 -1:4:8, M10 -1:3:6, M15- 1:2:4
17Restoration of Paver block/Foot Path/Pathway

20Laisoning works for making the Last Mile Connectivity to Domestic, Commercial & Industrial Customers from the existing mainline: The item includes the liasoning from the concerned authorities such as BBMP / BDA / BWSSB local offcials, traffic ploice, police, BESCOM, BSNL,NHAI, Railways, BWSSB, RTO etc. and any other utility companies / agencies such OFC operators etc for carrying out the connectivity from mainline. Repairing/replacement of all damaged utilities if any, and payment of any compensation (if claimed by owner/other utility agencies) is in scope of the Contractor.
