Name of Work:- Dismantling 40mtr GBT (RP ID 12010) including foundation and re-erection of 40mtr GBT including shifting of tower materials, construction of foundation, painting, earthing, fencing etc., dismantling electrical Infra structure, refixing, extending power supply arrangement to the new tower site, Infra shifting, BTS shifting, RF works and all allied works at Kalpeni, Lakshadweep.

6Dismantling with care superstructure of four legged communication tower (upto 40.0 Mtr height) including dismembering Structural sections of the tower viz. angles, flats, channels, gusset plate, base plate, bolts, nuts, ladder, working platform, cable tray, antenna fixtures, lightning arrestor, earth strips, all cables of diameter up to 50mm dia, etc. from tower top to the ground floor etc. and stacking the same within 50 Mtr lead etc., complete as directed by the Engineer - in Charge. (The rate shall be inclusive of cost of providing safety measures, insurance charges and all labour involved in the operation including hire charges and mobilization charges of tools and plants etc. and nothing extra shall be paid on any account.)
7Making template for fixing foundation bolts as per the lay out of foundation bolts using 3Nos of 4mm thick ACP sheet of size up to 600 mmx 600 mm each and making 5 no.s of holes upto 32 mm dia in each plate to suit the36mm dia foundation bolts and interconnecting the plates by MS angles of section 4x400x4 mm with minimum 3 no.s of 8 mm dia bolts on each end and transportation including loading, unloading complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.
8Credit for scrap steel reinforcement obtained from demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete structural members.
9Earth work in excavation by manual or mechanical means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 Sam on plan ) including disposal of excavated Earth, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed :-

36Supplying Foundation bolts for 40mtr GBT (36mm dia, 0.9mtr long) including threading, galvanized nuts (2 no.s), plate washer, spring washer etc. complete as per standard drawing design.
37Smooth finishing of the Exposed surfaces of RCC Work with 6mm thick cement mortar 1:3
381:3 ( 1 cement : 3 fine sand)
39Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.
40In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.
41Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete.
42Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.
43In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works with available steel items
44Providing and fixing precoated galvanized iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
45Transportation of tower materials by Manual conveyance from Kalpeni Guest house to new site identified within 5km including ,loading, unloading, sorting and stacking etc. complete.
46Supply of MS hot dipped galvanized fabricated angles, bolts, nuts, spring/plain washers etc. .of different sizes as specified for tower works.
47Erection of four legged light weight GB communication tower(NB) indicated in item No. 24 above.
48Providing and applying paint of approved specification over the four legged light weight communication tower ( NB ) One coat of Etch Primer (MRF, Asian paint or equivalent) should be applied first followed by one coats of zinc chromate primer .Over that two or more coats of enamel paint Orange/ White of approved brand and manufacture should be applied.) All works to be completed as per the directions of the Engineer in charge
4940mtr NB Tower .
50Providing G I plate earth including excavation of pit of size 200x2000x3000mm depth in all kinds of soils and placing four numbers of G I plates of size 600x600x6 mm thick vertically at diagonally opposite ends in the excavated pit and inter connecting the plates with 4 Nos. of 50x3mm or 25x6 mm G I strips with 2 no.s of G I bolts and nuts of 10mm dia at each connection and covering the joints with bitumen, placing G I pipe of 50mm internal dia ( B Class) and 3000mm length at the center of the plate grid for watering and filling the pit with fine ash and / or finally sieved good quality soil including ramming in 20 cm layers etc. complete and cover the pit with 750x750x50mm thick precast reinforced cement concrete slab having 100mm dia hole at the centre to pass the GI pipe and construct a chamber of
51Internal size not less than 280x280x250mm with half brick wall including fixing CI manhole cover of size 300x300mm of weight not less than 7.20 Kg. (cover & frame) and plastering the chamber on all sides with cement mortar 1:4 of 12mm thick (1 cement : 4 fine sand) and including disposal of surplus excavated earth if any within a distance of 5 Km lead as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
52Providing ring earth by excavating of trench of width 500 mm and depth 1200 mm depth and laying G I flats of size 50x3mm or 25x6 mm and jointing this flats with plate earth [vide item No.14] and jointing at corners with 2 Nos. of 10mm dia G I bolts and nuts with necessary spring washers including lead strip of 90 x 50 x 1 mm in between the joining members, and refilling the trenches with the excavated soil free from stones and disposal of surplus soil within 5 Km lead as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight)
53Providing G I strips of size 50x3 mm or 25x6 mm one end connected to the tower leg with G I bolts and nuts [with lead sheath in between] including providing and connecting the legs at the bottom of tower and the other end shall be connected to the G I plate earth/ring earth with G I bolts and nuts [with lead sheath in between] including clamping the down lead flat to walls/stems without any sharp bends using necessary clamps and screws as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight)
54Providing and fixing copper lightning conductor of 1500mm length, 25mm dia hollow tube of wall thickness not less than 1.6mm…including tinning the bottom portion of the spike for a length not less than 150 mm (lightning conductor to be fixed at the top of the tower) and connecting the GI bus bar to the lightning arrester using 2 Nos. 10 mm dia brass bolts and nuts all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight]
55Providing GI bus bar of 50 x 3 mm or 25x6 mm connected to the tinned bottom portion of lightning conductor and to the ring earth/plate earth with 2 no.s of 10 mm dia GI nuts & bolts [with lead sheath in between] at each connection. The bus bar shall be drawn through heat shrink sleeve and shall be shrunk properly. The bus bar shall be clamped to the tower/ building walls at uniform interval of 1.5 Mt.. using proper GI clamps and ceramic insulators such that the bus bar shall be well insulated from the tower building walls all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight)
56PART B:- Electrical WorksDismantling of existing LED metering board along with all accessories and supporting structure, transporting and shifting to the new location, re-erection and fixing, including providing concrete for the supporting structure and all incidental works as required .
57Dismantling the existing 50 mm × 5 mm GI lightning conductor strip from the 40 m high tower, carefully shifting it to the new location, and refixing it on the tower using suitable-sized porcelain insulators. The work shall include reconnecting the conductor to the existing lightning finial at the top of the tower and to the existing earth pit strip at the bottom, complete in all respects as required.
58Dismantling the existing power distribution board complete with all accessories, carefully shifting and refixing it at the new location, including extending the earthing connection to the nearby earth pit(s) using 6 sq.mm copper cable, complete with all necessary accessories, testing, commissioning, and making the system fully operational.
59Supplying, laying, testing and commissioning of 3 × 16 sq.mm A2XFY copper power cable from the LED meter panel to the Distribution Panel (DP), including all necessary terminations, glands, lugs, dressing, connections, testing, commissioning, and all incidental works complete as required.
60Extending the earth connection from the existing earth pits to the tower structure using 50 mm × 5 mm GI strip, including laying, fixing, jointing, and connecting the GI strip to provide a complete earth extension arrangement as required.
61Dismantling the existing aviation obstruction lamp from the top of the 40 m tower and reinstalling it at the designated new location on the tower, including all necessary accessories, connections, testing, and commissioning, complete as required.
62Supplying and laying 3 × 1.5 sq.mm PVC insulated and PVC sheathed flexible copper conductor cable for extending the power supply from the Power Distribution Board (PDB) to the Aviation Obstruction Lamp (AOL), including laying, dressing, termination, testing and commissioning, complete as required. Approximate quantity: 55 metres.
63PART C:- Infra WorksInfra shifting, BTS shifting, RF works and all allied work including Solar and other electrical uninstallation at present location, transportation and installation in new location, 800 AH Li-on Bty uninstallation at present location, transportation and installation in new location, PP uninstallation, transportation and installation in new location, BTS uninstallation and installation in new location, De-Hoisting of antenna-3nos and hoisting in new location, De-Hoisting of RRH-3nos and hoisting in new location, De-Hoisting of RRH Power cable and CPRI and hoisting in new location, Transportation of BTS, RRHs, Antenna, RRH Power cable, CPRI and accessories all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
