| 1 | Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means stuarated soil comprising of mixed soil ordinry rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions gainst soil erosion, damage to hill side water pollution etc and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and weding out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades side slopes width camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural august 204 and clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful material for construction ats suatable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be absolute respobsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. REcovery for stones whether usefull or not for 52.74 cum @ Rupees 300 per cubic metre) shall be done on rporata basis from each runnining bill of this item.
