30Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC ‘C’ channel of size 30mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the ‘C’ Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, manufacturer’s specification & drawing.

One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). 121Cleaning and polishing old terrazo (marble chips) flooring and skirting by grinding / rubbing with machine fitted with fine grit blocks,No-120, for 1st grinding & No-320, for 2nd grinding to get even & smooth surface without pin holes. The surface shall be watered and ground evenly while polishing in every cycle. After 1st grinding, the surface shall be thoroughly washed to remove all grinding mud and covered with a grout of white cement and colouring matter in the same mix and proportion as the topping in order to fill any pin holes that appear. The surface shall be allowed to dry & cure adequately before 2nd & final grinding. The finished surface should show the marble chips evenly exposed.Where use of machine for polishing is not feasible or possible, rubbing and polishing shall be done by hand in the same manner as specified for machine polishing except that carborundum stone of Grade-80 shall be used for 1st rubbing & stone of fine grade (No-120) for final rubbing & polishing. After final polish either by machine or hand, oxalic acid shall be dusted over the surface @ 33 gm per square metre sprinkled with water and rubbed hard with a pad of woolen rags. The following day, the floor shall be wiped with a moist rag and dried with a soft cloth and finished clean. Finally, wax polish of approved brand and manufacture shall be applied in uniform layer to the dry surface of flooring / skirting. When the layer of wax is stiffened and surface of floor is saturated with polish, polishing shall be resorted with machine fitted with pad of rags and shall be done until shades of all chips have appeared and glossy surface is obtained. Surplus wax, if any, shall be sucked suitably. The rate is for all the operations described above and net exposed area of the surface polished shall be measured for payment.
