| 1 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following items for Early Streamer Emission Lightning Protection System :- The System shall have the following major components. The rate shall include necessary cutting chases, supplying and making of RCC/structural mounting foundation on roof, including grouting, waterproofing & restoration with mending good to damages during installation. a) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 04 Set, 100 KA rated at 10/350 waveform Early Streamer Emission Lightning Arrestor air terminal at a height of 5 mtr. giving Level IV Protection area comply to NFC 17 -102 upto 107 mtr radius coverage on 5 mtr. mast with stainless-steel (SS 304) construction including approved triggering arrangement, adaptor and all accessories like Guy wire, Clamp, Nut& Bolt, Washers , Connectors etc. as required. CPRI TESTED with impulse current withstand (8/20μs). b) Supplying and fixing of 04 Set, (3+2 mtr.) Heavy-duty Stainless steel mounting Mast including Stay wire and base plate, flange, clamps, bracing/guying, fasteners and supports etc. as required.c) Supplying and fixing of 04 Set, 03 Digit Lightning strike counter complete (Analog) with enclosure and mounting accessories etc. as required.Preferred Make:- ABB make OPR-60 model / Indelec/ Protec or Equivalent approved by Engineer in Charge. Minimum 05 years warranty at Kharagpur site must be given from the date of installation at free of cost. Also Test Certification by any National or International accrediated Laboratory is mandatory. Note:- (1) The contractor has to supply the Lightning protection coverage drawings, earthing layout, down-conductor routing and working drawings, make list etc for getting approval from the section before execution of work. |

| 3 | Supplying and fixing of 25 mm x 5 mm Hot-dip galvanized iron strip on surface or in recess as lightning down conductor, including saddles, fasteners, bends, expansion joints and corrosion protection etc as required. |
| 4 | Supplying and fixing 25X5 mm Hot-dip G.I strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode, including connection/terminating with G.I. nut, bolt,spring,washer and excavation with re-filling etc as required for overdown conductor up to approximately 3 m above ground level. |
| 5 | Supplying and making of Disconnecting/ test link suitable for 25 mm x 5 mm Hot-dip GI strip, 125 mm long, with 4 nos rust free GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and spring washers complete etc. as required in weatherproof lockable enclosure. |
| 6 | Jointing of G.I. tape (with another G I tape, base of the finial or any other metallic object) by riveting/ nut bolting/ sweating/ soldering with 4 inch. overlapping over the tape and anti corrosive paint on the joint. etc as required. |
| 7 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following items for Dedicated Maintenance Free Chemical Earthing System. Preferred Make:- True Power/ SG Power/ Electrogrip or Equivalent approved by Engineer in Charge |
| 8 | High tensile- Low Carbon Steel earthing electrode Rod molecularly bonded by high conductivity Copper on outer surface, minimum 80 mm dia and approximately 3000 mm long, including clamps and all accessories etc. as required. CPRI tested ae per IEC 62561-2 with minimum 250 micron Copper Coating Thickness, Pre welded with connection clamp on top. |
| 9 | Back Fill Compound (25KG/Bag) 2 Bag per electrode of highly conductive resistivity lowering ground enhancement compound tested as per IEC/ISO 62561-7, IEC/ISO 62561-2, IEEE-80-2013 Clause 14.5 for electrochemical corrosion, resistivity, tensile test & reference standard of ASTMG59-97(2020) for resistivity of 0.10 ohm-meter, PH value is more than 7 with less than 2% of sulphur content as per ISO 46893:2017-ICP OES. including excavation and backfilling etc. as required. |
| 10 | Electro Polyamide Earth Pit Cover marked LIGHTNING EARTH, made of chemically resistant polymer with 250 mm top diameter and 5000 kg Dead load-bearing polymer lid, designed to provide secure protection and easy access to earthing points. The lockable lid ensures safety and durability for reliable performance in earthing.Mandatory for Earthing Work :- 1) Soil-resistivity measurement and identification of suitable electrode locations. 2) Earth-resistance testing of individual electrodes and combined earthing network. |
