| 1 | Providing services for assisting the departmental engineers while taking levels through floats in the Bukingham Canal Carrying out desilting works in the Tanks, Sluices, and Supply Channels, including taking pre-levels and post-levels for calculation of desilting quantities; marking reference pegs; removal of silt, sludge, vegetation, hyacinth, plastic waste, thermocol, wooden logs, and other floating materials; ensuring free flow of water through sluices and channels; periodical cleaning and maintenance of waterways; collection of water samples at various locations; collection of soil samples for investigation; assisting in excavation of trial pits for soil testing, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and estimates; plotting cross-sectional and longitudinal level charts in Excel; typing correspondence in Tamil and English; and performing related duties for 8 hours per day as directed by the departmental engineers, including any other works as specified by them from time to time.Unit A Supplied By The Contractor |
