| 1 | Providing and applying water proofing treatment, after thoroughly cleaning the surface with wire brushes or other suitable material, thereby removing all the loose concrete, dirt, etc. After cleaning, first coat of primer shall be provided with equal mixing of Dr. Fixit URP or equivalent product with same quantity of cement. There after open fibermesh-150, size 2.5mm x 2.5mm, micro-reinforcement system for concrete made from 100% virgin polypropylene monofilament fibers shall be laid on the wet primer including overlapping of mesh as per manufacturers specifications, mesh shall be designed to control plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking. Thereafter 2 coats of acrylic polymer modified cementations coating of Dr. Fixit fast flex or equivalent product shall be provided. The material shall have properties like elongation at break 120% and 5 bar resistance to positive water pressure, adhesive strength ASTM D7234-0.8N/MM2, water vapour transmission as per ASTME96 of 0.7 perms and cracks bridging ability as per EN 1062-7 upto 2 mm. It shall be applied @0.42-0.50 Kg/Sqm in form of slurry. The work shall be got executed from authorised applicator of the company whose material is being used. There shall be span of 6-8 hours between 1st & 2nd coat, 2nd coat shall be laid perpendicular to 1st Coat. Coarse sand shall be sprinkled while the second coat is still wet. The application of material shall be air cured for 5 days and then ponding test shall be done, complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Change. NS |
| 2 | Providing and applying two or more coat of water repellent on the existing surface for providing effective water repellence. The material shall be ready to use like FOSROC Nitocote SN 522 or equivalent. The product shall be colourless and under no circumstance shall change the colour of the surface, as such product shall be applied after conducting trials on different surfaces. The product shall be silicon based water repellent and shall comply to BS 6744-92 class A. The surface shall be cleaned with broghs before application of water repellent for optinal bonding and the material should be apply @ 1 ltr/7 sqm per litre with paint brush only including charges of ladders or scaffolding or crane upto 25 meter height complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. | 3 | Regrading terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in cement mortar by dismantling tiles or bricks, removing mud plaster, preparing the surface of mud phaska to proper slope, relaying mud plaster gobri leaping and tiles or bricks, grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand), including replacing unserviceable tiles or bricks with new ones and disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground (the cost of the new tiles or brick excluded), all complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge. | 12 | Pre-wetting the surface adequately and allowing to saturated surface dry conditions and applying coating of acrylic polymer based Acrocrete or equivalent make mixed with cement slurry @ 2 Kg. per bag of cement for proper bonding of old and new surface complete in position as per directions and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 13 | Removing rust from reinforcement bars by applying Liquid Rust Remover of Pidilite or equivalent make and cleaning the bars by scrubbing with wire brushes and washing with water and further repeating the process for heavily rusted bars till the rust free surface is achieved as per Manufacturers Specifications complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. |
