Name of Work:- SPECIAL REPAIR TO VEH GARAGE IN BLDG. NO P-133 AND P-140 UNDER AGE B/R-III OF GE (NORTH) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

1Supply and fixing for steel rolling shutters, 1.25 mm thick, gear-operated type, complete with bevel gear box, crank handle with ball bearings, side guide channels, top cover, anchoring rods, hasp and staple, complete top box and all necessary accessories and fittings, including one shop coat of primer; properly erected, fixed and commissioned in position as indicated, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Rolling shutter size shall be exceeding 25 sq.m but not exceeding 35 sq.m per shutter, with height up to 7.0 m. The rate shall include the complete rolling shutter assembly, including top box, side guide channels, gear box, anchoring rods, crank handle, bearings and all necessary fittings, fixtures and accessories, complete in all respects as specified and directed.
2Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise specified, over 10 cm in width or girth, including application of one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint, complete in all respects as specified and directed.
3Taking down and removing existing rolling shutters, excluding those exceeding 20 sq.m but not exceeding 35 sq.m in each case, including dismantling, handling, stacking and disposal of debris as directed, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
4Taking down existing cement plaster from brick or concrete surfaces, including raking out joints, hacking the surface to provide adequate key, scrubbing and cleaning down with water, and removing the debris to the designated place, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5Material and labour for providing and applying 15 mm thick ready-mix cement plaster on internal/external surfaces of brick walls, chajjas, fins and concrete surfaces, including preparation and cleaning of background, wetting, mixing and application of ready-mix material, levelling, finishing to an even and fair surface, curing and all necessary labour, materials, tools and plant, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
6Material and labour for providing and applying 12 mm thick ready-mix cement plaster on internal/external surfaces of brick walls, chajjas, fins and concrete surfaces, including preparation and cleaning of background, wetting, mixing and application of ready-mix material, levelling, finishing to an even and fair surface, curing and all necessary labour, materials, tools and plant, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Material and labour for providing and applying 5 mm thick ready-mix plaster to concrete surfaces, including ceilings, chajjas and similar surfaces, finished even and smooth without the use of additional cement, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Dismantling of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description, stacking serviceable brick for re use if directed and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
9Material and labour for brickwork with approved fly ash bricks, conforming to the relevant applicable IS specification, in straight or curved work on plan having mean radius exceeding 6 m, built in cement mortar 1:6, including setting out, soaking/pre-wetting of bricks as recommended, laying of bricks, proper bonding, filling and finishing of joints, scaffolding, curing and all necessary materials, labour, tools, plant and incidental operations, complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description (any layer) from external/internal wall/ceiling surfaces, soffits/chajja/roof projection surfaces etc., by scraping steel patti or Mechanical sander/grinder machine having suction vaccum Bag (Smart periodical methodology), complete all as specified and as directed.
11Material and labour for applying 02 coats of interior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) @ 8 sq.m/litre/2 coats to wall surfaces (new or old prepared internal surface after complete removal and applying putty) over and including a coat of interior primer @ 11 sq.m/litre/1 coat (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed.Note ;- Complete removal and putty shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.Brand and Make of interior acrylic emulsion paint: - Bison Acrylic Emulsion of Berger / Tractor Emulsion of Asian / Beaty Smooth of Nerolac Brand and Make of interior primer: - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Excel Alkali Prime of Nerolac
12Material and labour for applying 02 coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) @ 6 sq.m/litre/2 coats to external walls / Soffits of Chajjas / Roof Projections / Cantilevers / Balcony etc. (new or old prepared external surface after complete removal) over and including a coat of exterior primer @ 11 sq.m/litre/1 coat (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using airless spray gun complete all as specified and as directed.Note ;- Complete removal shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.Brand and Make of exterior acrylic emulsion paint: - Weather Anti Dust of Berger / Apex Ultima of Asian / Excel Mica Marble of Nerolac Brand and Make of interior primer: - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Excel Alkali Prime of Nerolac
13Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered or unplastered ceiling surfaces, including cleaning, surface preparation and application of three coats of lime wash (white wash), complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
14Material and labour for complete removal of old decorative finish from ceiling surfaces by brooming, steel-wire brushing and scraping, including removal of smoke soot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts, treatment of oil and greasy spots, and preparation of the surface, followed by application of two coats of white wash to the ceiling, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
15Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces, surface after complete removal, applying acrylic putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceiling/soffits etc (thickness vary from 1.5 to 2 mm as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two or more layers) by using readymade putty, including sanding with wall sander after filling the putty in first coat/second coat to make surface smooth and ready for receiving interior painting complete all as specified and as directed.Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the GE as well as to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further finishes. Please note that the further finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the GE as well as to the Engineer-in-Charge through site order.Make of acrylic Putty: - Berger / Asian / Nerolac
16Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area at any distance upto 5Km as directed as direccted from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
17Material and labour for providing and laying 100 mm thick cement concrete flooring of Type B-1, in the proportion of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), in panels, ramps and similar locations, including laying, compacting, finishing and trowelling the surface even and smooth, without the use of additional cement, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
18Material and labour for providing and laying 100 mm thick cement concrete of Type D-2, in the proportion of 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size), for foundations, filling, sub-base, mass concrete and similar works, including mixing, laying, compacting and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
19Material and labour for providing and laying cement concrete of Type B-1, in the proportion of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), for copings, packing around interlocking paver blocks and similar works, including mixing, placing, compacting and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
20Dismantling and removing existing brick tiles or terracing tiles laid in a single layer on roofs, including careful removal, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of the dismantled/retrieved material to a designated place within a lead not exceeding 500 m, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
21Demolition and removal of existing mud phuska roofing of any thickness, including removal of associated plastering and leeping, breaking up and clearing the material, loading, transportation and disposal from the site for a lead exceeding 250 m but not exceeding 500 m, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
22Material and labour for wire-brushing and thoroughly cleaning the top surface of the roof, including flashings, junctions with parapets and other adjoining surfaces, removing dust, dirt, loose material and surface deposits, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
23Material and Labour for Water proofing tratment to existing roof / terrace (material of water proof treatment as approved by GE) Single component, acrylic based, flexible, micro fibre reinforced waterproofing and heat reflective coating system. the treatment shall be carried out as per the manufacturers instructions and shall include the followings:(a) Preparation of substrate and cleaning it off all loose and triable by mechanical means(b) Open the cracks lines to form , V grooves with cutter/hammer/chisel up to 5-10mm and filling with crack filler and PU sealant.(c) application of primer coat @ 0.2 to 0.3 kg/ sqm followed by the first coat @ 0.75kg/ Sqm.(d) The second coat shall be applied @ 0.75 kg / Sqm and reinforced with fabric re-inforcement between the first and second coat.(e) The top coat of primer shall be applied after the second coat dries off @ 0.05-0.08 Kg per Sqm.(f) The material shall adhere to following specification. All auxiliary & accessories involved during application should be supplied by single manufacturer as a part of system. Any component used which is not manufactured by the particular manufacturer can only be used with official approval from manufacturer in consultation with GE.
24Material and labour for providing and laying 40 mm average thick cement concrete (PCC) padding of Type B-1, in the proportion of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), over roof slabs, including mixing, laying, compacting and finishing the surface even and fair, using liquid waterproofing compound, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Liquid waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under the appropriate item of Schedule 'A' of the BOQ.
25Material and labour for providing and applying cement slurry at the rate of 1.2 kg/sq.m, spread uniformly with a bristle brush, followed by rendering with 15 mm average thick cement mortar in proportion of 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) on roof surfaces, finished even and fair, including mixing of liquid waterproofing compound at the rate of 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Liquid waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately under the appropriate item of the BOQ.
26Material and labour for providing and forming cement concrete benching of Type B-0, in the proportion of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 12.5 mm nominal size), using liquid waterproofing compound in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, along the junction of the roof and adjoining walls, formed in a smooth concave shape, including mixing, laying, compacting and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Liquid waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under the appropriate item of Schedule 'A' of the BOQ.
27Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness of any description and in any position and including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area at any distance upto 5Km as directed as direccted from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
28Material and labour for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, hard standing, path etc, laid in suitable panels not exceeding 3.00 m length finished even and smooth without using extra cement, 10mm Joints filled with bituminous sealing compound of grade ‘A’/bitumen mastic filler/sealant complete all as specified.
29Demolition and removal of existing stone sett paving, interlocking paver blocks, tiles of any description or thickness, laid in floors, aprons and similar locations, including breaking, lifting and removal of the dismantled materials, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
30Material and labour for providing and laying stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200–250 mm in length, 150–200 mm in width and 150 mm in depth, with sides properly dressed, laid and bedded in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), with 20 mm wide joints, including grouting of joints with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) mixed with metallic floor hardener at 5% by weight of cement, and finishing the joints flush with the surface, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
31Demolition of existing reinforced cement concrete (RCC) in parapets, chajjas, fins, fascias and similar structural/non-structural elements, of any description and in any position, including cutting of reinforcement as necessary to facilitate demolition, breaking, dismantling, lowering and removal of demolished materials, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
32Material and labour for providing and fixing formwork to chajjas, fins, fascias, beams and similar works, whether horizontal or sloping, flat or curved, including all necessary supports, staging, props, ties and accessories, properly aligned and levelled to receive fair-faced concrete finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
33Material and labour for providing and fixing TMT reinforcement steel bars of 6 to 8 mm diameter, Fe-500/Fe-550D grade, including cutting to required lengths, straightening, bending to the required shape, cranking, forming spirals/hoops for columns, providing hooks at ends, placing and securing in position with annealed mild steel binding wire of not less than 0.9 mm diameter or suitable clips, including all necessary overlaps, bends, supports and wastage, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
34Material and labour for providing and laying reinforced cement concrete (RCC) of nominal mix Type B-1, in the proportion of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), in fins, fascias, parapets, chajjas and similar works, including mixing, placing, compacting, vibrating and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fittings, etc.; removing materials to store for safe custody or for taking credit (credit for salvaged items to be made separately as per contract conditions); and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, ceilings, etc., complete.
36Material and Labour for concealed point wiring complete with 1.5 sq.mm nominal area PVC insulated and unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor FRLS-H cable (ISI marked) in new concealed PVC ISI marked heavy duty conduit for one light point/fan point controlled by one switch, including 1.5 sq.mm single-core multi-stranded FRLS-H copper earth wire connected to common earth and earth dolly, complete with M.S. sunken box (minimum 1.22 mm thick and 60 mm deep) suitable for modular base plate and top cover for mounting modular switch/socket, including all accessories, connections, testing and commissioning, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
