Name of Work:- M/o completed scheme finishing and furnishing i/c toilet cleaning etc. complete at Vikas Sadan.SH: Repair of Loose ceiling plaster by chipping, fixing mesh and application of Polymer modified plaster in D- Block and other locations at Vikas Sadan.
Sl. No. Item Description
1Note: -1. The work is of an urgent nature for repair of plaster, therefore, the agency/contractor shall commence the work within 03 (three) days from the date of intimation by the office of the Engineer-in-Charge. In the event of failure to commence the work within the stipulated period, a penalty of ₹1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per day shall be levied for a maximum period of 07 (seven) days. If the contractor still fails to commence the work thereafter, the department shall be at liberty to get the work executed through another vendor/agency at the risk and cost of the defaulting contractor, without any further notice.2. The work under this contract shall be executed in phases / parts, strictly as per the availability of site and instructions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge. The Contractor shall not claim any compensation, idle charges, or damages on account of non-availability of complete site or for execution of work in parts. The sequence and extent of work in each phase shall be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and shall be binding on the Contractor.3. All activities causing excessive noise, vibration, or disturbance—such as drilling, chiseling, cutting, demolition, grinding, hammering, etc. shall be carried out preferably on holidays, weekends, or beyond normal working hours, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. No extra payment shall be made on this account.4. Water charges @ 1 % will be deduct from the bill paid to the agency as water will be supplied by the department only.5. All the malba generated after dismantling/construction at the time of execution of work to be disposed off on per day basis at earmarked location as per the direction of the Engineer-in- Charge i.e. Ground floor, back side of C block at his own expense & nothing shall be paid extra on this account by the Department so that The functioning of the office of Vikas Sadan will not interrupt. Being a headquarter of DDA, if the agency fails to disposed off malba per day then penalty of Rs.1000/- per day will be imposed, to maintain proper working of Offices of Vikas Sadan.
2Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.a) 25 mm average thickness
3Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.a) 50mm average thickness
4Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. a) Bars upto 12 mm diameter
5Providing, mixing and applying over reinforcement bars zinc anti-rust agent of make Fosroc/ sika frizincr or equivalent as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge (Dosage/coverage as per the recommendation of the manufacturer. (Surface area of the chipped portion where reinforcement is exposed shall be measured for payment)
6Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work ready to use \\"cut and bend\\" rebars of approved make from factory/workshop to construction site including placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. A)Thermo-mechanically treated bars of grade Fe-500d or more.
7Providing and applying resin (Fischer FISV-360 or HILTY or equivalent TMT steel dowel bars including drilling, cleaning & fixing in hole of dia as per manufacturer's specification up to and embedment depth up to 100mm. Excluding reinforcement. a) 12mm dia
8Providing and fixing hard drawn steel wire fabric of size 75 x25 mm mesh or other suitable size wire mesh to be fixed & firmly anchored to the concrete surface by means of “L” shaped mild steel shear key welded with existing reinforcement including the cost of materials, labour, tool & plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge.
9Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.A)SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer.
10Providing, mixing and applying polymer modified cement mortar (immediately after the application of the cement based polymer modified bonding slurry coats as per specifications) in layers 12to 15 mm thick including trowelling with wooden tools etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including all materials, labour, tools, plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge etc. complete. With cement sand mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 graded coarse sand) with acrylic bonding coat of approved brand only, 10% by weight of cement. (upto 25mm)
11Providing, mixing and applying polymer modified cement mortar (immediately after the application of the cement based polymer modified bonding slurry coats as per specifications) in layers 12 to 15 mm thick including trowelling with wooden tools etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including all materials, labour, tools, plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge etc. complete. With cement sand mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 graded coarse sand) with acrylic bonding coat of approved brand only, 10% by weight of cement. (upto 50 mm)
12Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
13Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. a) With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre
14Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour( Scaffolding is provided separately)(b) two coat
15Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.
16Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead:(a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand)
17Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge.a) Wooven PVC cloth
18Granite work gang saw cut (polished and machine cut) of thickness 18 mm for wall lining (veneer work), backing filled with a grout of average 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including pointing with white cement mortar 1:2 (1 white cement : 2 marble dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the marble shade (To be secured to the backing by means of cramps, which shall be paid for separately). including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing of edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.Polished granite stone slab of all colour and texture except black, cherry/ruby red.(A)Area of slab upto 0.50 sqm(Colour, texture of granite is to be as per already installed granite or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge)
