| 1 | Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost). |

| 3 | Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. |
