Name of Work:- NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR THE CONTRACT FOR STRUCTURAL REPAIR WORKS, EXTERNAL & INTERNAL PAINTING AND MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL WORKS AT CWS AT RCF THAL

Payment shall be made as per the RCF weighbridge challan and after proper disposal only.
5Providing second class Burnt Brick masonry with conventional/ I.S. type bricks in cement mortar 1:6 in superstructure including striking joints, raking out joints, watering and scaffolding etc. Complete
6Providing and applying 20 mm thick sand faced cement plaster by using ready-mix mortar ('Aerocon' of HIL or equivalent) at all levels & locations in two coats for masonry (except stone masonry) and concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking of concrete surface, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc. complete.
7Providing and applying 12 mm thick sand faced cement plaster by using ready-mix mortar ('Aerocon' of HIL or equivalent) at all levels & locations in single coats for masonry (except stone masonry) and concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking of concrete surface, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc. complete.
8Removing doors and windows with frames and stacking thematerials as directed with all leads, lifts etc. complete.
9Providing sills of polished Kadappa stone 25mm to 30mm thick, on a bed of 1:4 cement mortar including cement float, filling joints with slurry, curing polishing and cleaning etc. complete.
10Providing and laying vitrified mirror / glossy finish tiles decorative type having size 590mm to 605mm x 590mm to 605mm of 8 to10mm thickness and confirming to IS. 15622-2006 (group B-l-a) of approved make, shade and pattern for flooring in required position laid on a bed of 1:4 cement mortar including neat cement float, filling joints, curing and clearing etc. complete
11Providing and fixing, 2.00mm thick acrylic plastic sheet panels of approved quality in required thickness plain clear or any colour or obscured linings in lieu of glass pans to doors/windows including providing and fixing clips, putty etc. complete.
12Providing and fixing in position, colour anodized aluminium, partly openable and partly fixed window of any size as per detailed drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge with all necessary aluminium sections including necessary fixtures and fastening with 5mm thick float glass etc. complete.Note aluminium weight shall be minimum 6.90 Kilogram/ One Square Metre.
13Providing and fixing in position aluminium fixed window fully glazed of any size as per detailed drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge with all necessary alluminium sections including necessary fixtures and fastening such as 5 mm thick clear float glass etc. complete.
14Providing and fixing in position. (asper I.S.1868/1982) Aluminium sliding window of two tracks with rectangular pipe having overall dimension 63.50 x 38.10 x 1.02mm at weight 0.547 Kilogram/One Running Metre. and window frame bottom track section 61.85x31.75x1.20mm at weight 0.695 Kilogram/One Running Metre. Top and side tracksection 61.85 x 31.75x1.30mm at weight 0.659Kilogram/One Running Metre. The shutter should be of bearing bottom 40x18x1.25mm at weight 0.417 Kilogram/One Running Metre. Inter locking section 40 x 18 x 1.10 mmat weight 0.469 Kilogram/Running metre and handle section 40x 18x 1.25mm at weight 0.417 Kilogram/One Running Metre and top section 40 x 18 x 1.25mm at weight 0.417 Kilogram/Running metre. As per detailed drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge with all necessary Aluminium sections fixtures and fastenings such as roller bearing in nylon casting and self locking catch fitted in vertical section of shutter including 5mm thick float glass with all required screws and nuts etc, complete.With colour Anodising without box.
15Cleaning the concrete surfaces with hydrojet, keeping optimum pressue using clean water and detergent/other cleaning materials as necessary including removing all dust, grease, stains etc. to render the surface clean including removing all traces of cleaning materials etc. complete as specified and directed.
16Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material (including plaster if any) from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
17Providing & applying One coat of Alkaline Rust convertor ('Feovert' or equivalent) to exposed rebars of RCC, after removing & cleaning loose rust by wire brush and leave it for 6-8 hours. (Item to be used for rebar treatment where micro-concrete is being used.)
18Providing and fixing shear connector for anchoring of additional reinforcement bars. The rate includes making 10/12 mm dia. holes in RCC member using electrically operated hammer drill machine, to a depth of 75mm at 0.5m c/c or as directed in zig-zag pattern, cleaning the holes by blowing air, fixing pre-cut and pre-bend 100x50mm , L shaped - 8mm dia. rebar(Fe-500 grade) using 'Lokfix P' of FOSROC or equivalent adhesive, such that 75mm is out of 100mm is inserted in concrete and 25mm remain outside along-with 50mm bend.
19Providing and fixing in position, Thermo-Mechanically Treated steel bar (Fe 500 grade) reinforcement of various diameters as additional reinforcement or replacement of corroded bars as directed,including straightening, cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding, supporting as required etc. all complete at all levels.
20galvanic protection: Providing & fixing zinc based Tied-on Sacrificial Anode units ( 'Galvashield XP' of FOSROC or equivalent) to the reinforcement. The anode shall be connected to the reinforcement steel by connectors provided with the anode application area is at the junction of repair. One anode per meter including tying to the bar etc., complete. Size : 55-65mm dia. and 25-30mm thick.
21Corrosion protection of unexposed old reinforcement on non-spalled concrete by Insertion of sustained release Corrosion inhibiting caplets like 'Powrthrow', by drilling 20-22 mm dia holes into the concrete at a depth of 30-40 mm and inserts to be filled by epoxy sealant EPCO-1010 or equivalent. Spacing of Powrthrow shall bea) For RCC Columns- 1 Units in a single drilled hole at a spacing of 1m c/c from two opposite faces in staggered fashion b) For RCC Beams- 1 Units in a single drilled hole at a spacing of 1m c/c from two opposite faces in staggered fashion C) RCC Slab- 4 Units in a single drilled hole in 1 sqm area in a grid pattern OR as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
22Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete of Nominal Mix of 1:1.5:3 grade (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size cement with trap / granite / quartzite / gneiss metal) mixing in concrete mixer including bailing out water, compacting, finishing surface, curing and including the cost of centering and shuttering at all level.
23Providing and inserting 12mm dia PVC injection nozzles in honey comb area and along crack line including drilling of holes of required diameter (20mm to 30mm) up to depth from 30mm to 80mm at required spacing and making the hole & crack dust free by blowing air, sealing the distance between injection nipple with adhesive chemical of approved make and allow it to cure complete, cutting of protruding part after curing, as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
24Providing and injecting, Stirrer mixed, Acrylic Polymer modified Cement grout ( polymer of approved make @ 2% of weight of cement used) made with non shrink compound in concrete/RCC work in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.)
25Providing and applying, ready to use Polymer Modified Mortar for treatment to the damaged RCC members, upto 15 mm thickness at a time in following steps; Removing loose rust from the reinforcement bars by wire brushing, light hammering etc. and applying one coat of Alkaline Rust convertor ('Feovert' or equivalent) to exposed rebars as approved by Engineer in charge. The rusted surface shall become blackish non rusted colour. After 24 hours of application of rust remover, loose particles shall be removed by brush. Apply one more coat of rust convertor. Apply bonding coat slurry of acrylic polymer-cement (Mix 1 Kg of acrylic polymer with 0.5 Kg of cement) as approved by Engineer in charge on surface where PMM is to be applied. Apply ready to use PMM by adding 13 - 16% water by weight of Polymer Modified Mortar. After mixing polymer modified mortar, it can be trowel applied or hadpacked. When applying by hand, polymer modified mortar must be forced tightly into the substrate to ensure complete contact with the substrate. Rate is inclusive of scaffolding, curing.
26Providing and applying, ready to use Polymer Modified Mortar for treatment to the damaged RCC members, from15 to 30 mm thickness at a time in following steps; Apply bonding coat slurry of acrylic polymer-cement (Mix 1 Kg of acrylic polymer with 0.5 Kg of cement) as approved by Engineer in charge on surface where PMM is to be applied. Apply ready to use PMM by adding 13 - 16% water by weight of Polymer Modified Mortar. After mixing polymer modified mortar, it can be trowel applied or hadpacked. When applying by hand, polymer modified mortar must be forced tightly into the substrate to ensure complete contact with the substrate. Rate is inclusive of scaffolding. This item shall be operated over the first layer of PMM (0-15mm), i.e. if the thickness is more than 15mm upto 30mm.
27providing and applying polymer modified, ready mixed, cement micro concrete of any thickness as per site requirement of approved brand including curing etc. as per manufacturer's specifications or as per instructions of engineer in-charge (the items shall be paid on actual consumption of micro concrete only). etc. as directed by e-i-c and including necessary m.s. pipe scaffolding.Minimum 7 days curing shall be done to the newly repaired/jacketed area using any suitable method. Minimum Required Compressive strength (ASTM C109 7cm cube) of Ready Mix Micro Concrete used on site shall not be less than 35 MPa in 7 Day and 40 MPa in 28 Days.
28Providing and applying epoxy bonding agent(resin+hardner), as per manufacturer's specifications, prior to applying the epoxy mortar to the concrete surfaces etc complete. The coverage shall be 2.20Sqm/kg of mix or as per manufacturer.
29Providing and applying epoxy mortar of resin and hardner with Sillica (quartz sand) sand upto 20 mm thickness. Epoxy material shall be of Huntsman(Araldite)/Sika/Fosroc or its equivalent etc complete.
30Providing and fabricating structural steel work in rolled sections like joists, channels, angles, tees etc. as per detailed design and drawings or as directed including cutting, fabricating, hoisting, erecting, fixing in position making riveted / bolted /welded connections without connecting plates, braces etc. and including one coat of anticorrosive paint and over it two coats of oil painting of approved quality and shade etc. complete
31Providing and applying first single coat of approved acrylic primer and two coats of anti-algal, anti-fungal, acrylic, exterior paint of an approved make and colour as per manufacturers specifications to any surface, at all locations as directed including preparing surfaces for painting by any approved means, scaffolding, cleaning and curing etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
32Providing and applying first single coat of approved acrylic primer and two coats of acrylic distemper of an approved make and colour as per manufacturers specifications to any surface, at all height and locations as directed including scaffolding, cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting with broom by any approved means, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
33Providing and applying first single coat of approved primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint/flat oil paint of an approved make and colour as per manufacturers specifications to any surfaces, at all height and locations as directed including scaffolding, cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting by any approved means etc. complete as directed.
34Providing and fixing Nylon safety net, two layered, with following specification, Border & Tie cord rope 12mm (IS:5175:2014), inside/ mesh rope-4mm (IS:5175:2014), mesh size 125mmx125mm, second layer- monofilament 100GSM
35Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials, product spillage, by mechanical means including loading from ground, transporting, unloading to approved dumping ground inside factory premises or as directed, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all loads including all lifts involved.
