The horizontal and vertical members of the Mild Steel frame module shall be made of Mild Steel hollow section of size 50x50x3.60mm as per approved drawing and each panel shall be braced diagonally (one way only) with same section. (ii). The aluminum composite panel (ACP)shall have a thickness of 4mm consisting of 3 mm thick non FR grade thermoplastic core of LDPE/ SDPE sandwiched between 0.50 mm thick aluminum sheet. The ACP shall be routed, folded and fixed on the MS frame with VHB (Very High Bond) tape, 24mm wide and 2.3mm thick provided throughout the length and breadth of the frame including riveting at the right angle face of the frame with pop riveting or with self taping Stainless Steel screws 5mm dia spaced not more than 300mm center to center ensuring that no riveting is seen on either face of the frame. (iii). On the front face of the ACP, micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to Type-XI of IRC 67-2022 and STM:D4956-17 with digitally printed signs on top of the base retro reflective sheeting covering the entire sign facia (end to end) shall be pressure fixed. The sign shall be manufactured using a system of matched components of reflective sheeting and overlay films and digital inks manufacuted and supplied by the reflective sheeting manufacturer. The digital printer and digital ink shall be approved by the reflective sheeting manufacture. Digitally printed traffic colour (which ever required) areas on white sheeting shall not be having less than 70 percent of the value of the coefficient of retro reflective established for its colour and type of sheeting. |
