| 11 | Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |

| 14 | Providing and Fixing of Solar Raised Pavement markers made out of polycarbonate molded body with circular shape, solar powered, LED self-illumination in active mode, 360-degree illumination and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face in passive mode. The marker shall support a load of 20,000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280. The marker should be resistant to dust and water ingress according to IP 65 standards and should withstand temperatures in the range of 0°C to 70°C. Typical frequency of blinking is 1 Hz. There should be current losses of less than 20 microamperes at 2.4V in sleep/parking mode to enhance the life of the marker and a full charge should provide for a minimum autonomy of 50 hours. The height, width and length shall not be less than 10 mm × 100 mm × 100 mm. Also, the surface diameter of the marker shall not be less than 100 mm respectively. The weight of the marker shall not exceed 0.5 kilograms. Fixing will be done by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive and complete as directed by the engineer. The solar raised pavement markers shall be tested for Compression strength of 20,000 Kg, IP 65 rating, Blinking frequency from government lab (CRRI/ARAI/CAT/CPRI) as per requirement of MoRTH and report shall be uploaded while quoting the tender. The bidder shall submit the sample of the Solar STUD complying to the item specification in schedule & Ministry/IRC conditions. Sample of Solar STUD shall be signed by the Representative of the Solar STUD OEM on the back side. |

| 19 | Providing, installing and fixing with necessary clamps etc. retro reflective Single Sided directional/ Cautionary/ Mandatory/Gantry signboards comprising of customized modular PU Epoxy coated MS tube, frame work, aluminum composite panel (ACP) , digitally printed micro prismatic retro-reflective sheet signages with QR Codes. i.The horizontal and vertical members of the MS frame module shall be made of MS tube. ii. The aluminum composite panel (ACP) shall have thickness of 4mm consisting of 3mm thick Non FR grade thermoplastic core of LDPE/HDPE sandwiched between two 0.50 Aluminum sheets. The ACP Sheet shall be coil coated with kynor 500 base PVDF on one face and another face will be mill finish for pasting retro reflective sheet. The ACP shall be routed, folded and fixed on the MS frame with VBH tape, 24mm wide and 2.3mm thick of approved brand & made provided throughout the length and breadth of the frame including riveting at the right angle face of the frame with pop riveting or with self taping SS screws 5mm dia spaced not more than 300mm center to center on both side of frame ensuring that no riveting is seen on either face of the frame. iii. On the front face of the ACP, micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to Type-XI of IRC 67-2022 and ASTM:D4956- 17 with digitally printed signs on top of the base retro reflective sheeting covering the entire sign facia (end to end) shall be pressure fixed. The sign shall be manufactured using a system of matched components of reflective sheeting and overlay films and digital inks manufacuted and supplied by the reflective sheeting manufacturer. The digital printer and digital ink shall be approved by the reflective sheeting manufacture. Digitally printed traffic colour (which ever required) areas on white sheeting shall not be having less than 70 percent of the value of the coefficient of retro reflective established for its colour and type of sheeting. iv. The rear side of the MS frame shall be covered with balancing ACP sheet of the same description as mentioned above and shall be fixed in similar manner as described above. The edges of the board shall be covered alround with 50 micron powder coated die cast extruded aluminum channel of required color and shade of size 68x12x2mm. the channel shall be fixed using two rows of double sided VHB tape of above description. The channel shall further be secured by pop riviets having SS screws of 5mm dia at junctions and corners. v. Labes/QR Code to be printed on signage at bottom right side corner (2”x2”) with details like name of manufacture, date of manufacturing, code of reflective sheeting used, warranty etc. Note: The rate shall include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication transportation, erection, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge. (All structural steel work shall be paid for separately under the relevant agreement item,including MS hollow section frame work and fixing arrangement with clamps for the sign boards ). Only front area of the board shall be measured for payment. |
