1M&L Repairing/recharging to existing defective chemical earthing comprising copper earth plate electrode 900 x 600 x 5 mm by taking out carefully earth plate, watering pipe, protection pipe and re-buried the same after removing sludge from the plate and pipes. The earth plate shall be buried directly in ground with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip any size by means of nut-bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule 2009, Part–I (Specifications) and other end connected to main switch board / main DB’s / earthing test point testing of earthing on completion of job complete all as specified and directed.

4Supply only following parts required for recharging of earthing strip complete all as specified and directed.
5Supply only Copper plate of size 900 mm x 600 cm x 3.15 mm including nut, bolt, washers made of copper alloy complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
6Supply only Copper plate of size 600 mm x 600 cm x 3.15 mm including nut, bolt, washers made of copper alloy complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
7Supply only GI plate of size 600 mm x 600 cm x 6.00 mm including nut, bolt, washers made of copper alloy complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
8Supply only salt commercial for the earth pit all as specified and directed
9Supply only charcoal dust for the earth pit all as specified and directed.
10Supply only 15 mm dia of GI tubing, light grade with all fittings including fixing arrangement with screws, reducer and clamps fasnig as protection of wire complete all as specified and directed.
11Supply only 40 mm dia of GI tubing, light grade with all fittings including fixing arrangement with screws, reducer and clamps fasnig as protection of wire complete all as specified and directed.

15Dismantling the existing earthing pit chamber made of PCC 1:2:4 type B-I (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and cleaning the area including removal of broken PCC/excavated material 50 mtr away from site all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
16Supply only cement concrete earth pit chamber in PCC 1:3:6, type C-1, 450 X 450 X 50 mm thick with fair finished concrete surfaces including necessary formwork and earth work as required/ordered at site, complete all as specified and as directed.
17Supply only Pre-cast RCC Cover with Handle 2 Nos and hole of dia 40mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 540x540x60mm, reinforced with and including 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 250mm Centre to Centre in both ways, complete all as specified and as directed.
18Supply only CI funnel made as specified in SSR Part -I electrical plate No 3 fixed with GI pipe of watering by welding or threading etc including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as diirected.
19M&L for Painting of old existing cement concerete earth pit chamber in colour code as white for convintional, yellow for copper conventional and red for chemical including preparation of surface , removal of dust etc and applying two coat of suitable paint complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
20S&F in repair as new test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size (75x75x25)mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screws for holding the bronze plate including fastening/ bolting the roof down conductor and earth electrode over the bronze plate with copper bolts & nuts of suitable size, providing 10mm thick fibre sheet of size (15x15)cm below the test point to avoid direct contact with wall including enclosing the test point with 1.6mm thick MS sheet front openable box duly painted complete all as specified and as directed.
21S & F Digital grounding system Three phase 240 KA with inbuilt low impedance grounding system 100% lightning & surge protection and static charges, noises, ESD, EPR and abnormal lines, ensuring clear bonding potential between earth - Neutral less than 1.0 V to be connected in parallel to the circult as per IEC guidelines.Maximum Continous operating Voltage (uc) 275 Volts (L1-N, L2-N & L3-N, 255 Volts (N-G). 221. Supply and fixing in repair of THOR safe lightening Protection Rod, with side flash capture head (SLPH), ICMET certified confirming to NFC 17-102, CPRI certified for 40KA which is a free standing mast of appx 4.5 mtr height made of stainless steel, free standing OD 77mm, thickness 3.2 mm, base plate hole M16 12 Nos, to with stand wind speed of 180 KM/Hr and mast coupler, accessory box with in-built bus bar insulator and base plate for fixing on foundation using stainless steel nuts and bolts. The contractor shall provide down conductor of 70 qmm copper cable properly thimbled with copper lugs on both sides from mast to earthing test point including dismantling the existing unserviceable.Note: Down conductor shall be measured and paid for seprately under relevant item of BOQ
23Supply and fixing (Lightening impulse counter Electromechanical) for counting surge impulse complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make THOR/TRUE POWER/G.S. POWER.
24M&L for taking out loose/displaced Serviceable existing Aluminium Strip/ Copper Strip/ GI Strip of any size and make or any description including all accessories and refixing the same with necessary Fixing Arrangement like screws, saddles, nuts and bolts, complete all as specified and as directed.NOTE : (i) Cost of Screws, Saddles, Nuts and Bolts of copper/brass, etc. will deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.(ii) If T&P like hydra and other equipment required at site of building above 10 mtr height shall be measured and paid seperately.
25Material and Labour for earth continuity conductor or main galvanised iron rarth strip of size 32 x 6 mm burried in ground, fixed to wall, any other indicated situation for loop earthing and the like upto test point on necesarry insulators and fastning screws, rawl plugs complete all as specified and directed.

36Cutting grass, removing of surplus of Soil from old existing serviceable earthing chamber pit and aligning in the centre line of earthing strip including taking old and properly filled of soil around chamber and repair of chamber is required at site with PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 complete all as specified and directed
37S & F as in replacement single pointed air termination aluminum rod, 12 mm dia and 300 mm long with arrester clamp 12 mm made out of brass/gun metal/screw nut, bolt complete all as specified and drected.
38S & F as in replacement single pointed air termination aluminum rod, 12 mm dia and 300 mm long with galvanised iron steel tubing 40 mm bore (dia) 1.5 mtr long light grade with all fittings out of brass/gun metal/screw nut, bolt complete all as specified and drected.
39S & F as in replacement single pointed air termination copper rod, 12 mm dia and 300 mm long with arrester clamp 12mm made out of brass/gun metal/screw nut, bolt complete all as specified and drected.
40S & F as in replacement single pointed air termination copper rod, 12 mm dia and 300 mm long with galvanised iron steel tubing 40 mm bore (dia) 1.5 mtr long light grade with all fittings out of brass/gun metal/screw nut, bolt complete all as specified and drected.
41M&L for quaterly checking of Earth Resistance test of existing Galvanised iron/copper conventional/Chemical Earthing by digital earth tester for getting suitable resistant test complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (a) Contractor will Check Earth Resistance of test points and will be recorded in Register, same will be put up to the Engineer-in-Charge through concern JE E/M. (b) Necessary T&P will be provided by the Contractor. (Tester should be caliberated from NABL accredited labs). (c) Checking of Earth Pits existing and improve it by watering, adding of chemical etc. (Chemical will be measured and paid separately) (d) Contractor will be responsible for marking of Earth Check date and due date on existing Plate with paint as specified by Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Cost of register for noting earthing results, location wise shall deemed to be included with the unit rate. Proforma of detail column will be printed as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (f) The contractor is responsible for mainting the value of chemical earthing as per station norms as directred by Engr-in-Charge.
42M&L for supply and pouring of Earth Enhancement Compound after mixing with water tested by NABL accredited lab in compliance to IEC 62561-7 with a resistivity < 0.12 ohm-m. It shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances. It shall be a permanent, non-corrosive material and will not leach any chemicals into the ground. It shall retain moisture even in high soil resistivity areas. complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Measurement of Chemical will be done in Powder form.
43Taking down old unserviceable of any type of earthing marker and Supply and fixing of Earthing identifier marker of size 25x25 mm flat iron and 5 mm thick length of flat iron 75 cm long which is 60 cm FI above the Ground level and 15 cm length FI below the Ground level and fixed with PCC 1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) in post holes and the TOP of the flat iron arabolic/ semicirculer/ traingular/rectangular shape MS plate 1.6 mm thick of size 30 cm width and 20 cm height to welded/fixing to the flat iron including two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on steel surface cutting for Equipment Earthing/Lighting Earthing/L2 Earthing etc complete all including Earth Plate No/Description of Earthing/Type of Earthing on Plate with white paint including earth plate no and earthing resistance with earthing check date and earthing check due date complete all specified and directed by Engineer in charge.
44Taking down existing hanging, broken, and delocation of air termination copper/Aluminium rod of any make and size from roof of existing buildings height upto 15 metres from buildings and refixing the same after repair including brazing,nuts, bolt and insulators complete all as specified and directed.
45M&L heavy duty porcelain/poly carbonate insulators of size 32 x 32mm to be fixed on wall/roof/pipe for laying of copper strip as roof/down conductor on building of height between upto 25 metres including nuts & bolts of brass of appropriate size including taking down old unserviceable one. all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge
46M&L for down conductor using 16 sqmm single core copper cable both ends thimbled properly with copper Lugs including taking down complete all as specified and directed.

48M & L for brazing work with copper brazing alloy rod with help of oxygen and LPG cylinder using required copper strip of size 20 mm x 3mm upto 30 cm length along with cleaning work of strip with descaling solution/emery paper which are laid as roof/down conductor on any height of building up to 15 mtr building height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

52M&L for T&P for laying/rectification of earthing strip, termination of rod and brazing of any capacity up to 20 Mtr height of buildings with T&P like ledder or hydra and other required at site complete all as specified and directed Note : (i) T&P like hydra ond other if required at site shall be included in the quated rate.(ii) The bidders are requested to pruduce vehicle BA No/Chasis No & gate pass with date at the time of pricessing of RAR.
53All as per item No 45.00 herein before but capacity up to 30 Mtr height of building including fixing arragement complete all as specified and directed.
54Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide for laying of cables, RCC poles/stays and struts etc or /getting out cable cover and stacking for reuse/ credit , trimming sides and forming bottom surface all as specified and directed at site.

57Material and labour for soft/loose natural soil low resitivity suitable for Earthing along with filling,spreading at site all as specified as and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
