1Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieveminimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 & 300-1for embankment construction.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305.3.4).
2Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) By Mix in Place MethodConstruction of granular sub-base by providing graded materials such as natural sand/crushed gravel/crushed stone/combination depending upon the required grading , spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve at least 98% of the maximum dry density for the material determined as per IS:2720 (Part 8), complete as per clause 401 desired density, complete as per clause 401 (1B(ii) Rate per cum for grading-II Material)
3Cement Concrete paver blocksProviding and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50 mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.80 mm thick C.C. paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour design and pattern
4Excavation for StructuresEarth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumpsandotherdeleteriousmatter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material(ReferencetoMORT&H's specification 304). 1.Cost of dewatering may beadded where required upto10 percent of costof labour i.e.₹12.10/-percum. Assessment for dewatering shall be made as per site conditions. 2.The excavated earth can be used partially for back filling of foundation pitandpartly for road work except for marshy soil. Hence cost of disposal has not been added except for marshy soil. This remark is common to all cases of item 1 excluding marshy soil.3. The cost of shoring and shuttering, where needed, may be added @ 1 per cent on cost ofexcavation for open foundation.(a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 3.0 m.inside drainstadium col protectionGate
5Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) overdamp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or infoundation or in foundation trenches.
6Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
7Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete in kerbs, steps and the like at or near ground level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).
8Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.(a)Mild steel and Medium Tensile steel barsSAIL/ TATA/RINL
9Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form forFoundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

12Providing and laying flamed finish Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing, curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge :
13Finishing walls with ready mixed Premium acrylic emulsion paint (Company Depot Tinted) having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives. New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm.
14Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads onBituminous SurfaceProviding and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes (Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).
