| 8 | The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with Instructions to Tenderers, General and Special Conditions of Contract, Notice Inviting Tenders and Employer’s Requirements (General Specifications & Particular Specifications). |
| 9 | Tenderer shall note that prices shall be quoted against each item in the price schedule, the tenderers are advised to quote the price inclusive of all central/state/local taxes, tax under reverse charge mechanism, duties, levies, cess, and all other incidental charges required to fulfil the tender conditions including statutory deduction viz. TDS towards Income Tax/GST/Labour Cess etc. after considering clause C2.4, C2.5 & C2.6 of ITT. |
| 10 | The Bidder shall quote any unconditional discounts in terms of percentage figure on total bid price so that the discounts can be evaluated by simple arithmetic calculation during financial evaluation of the bids, to arrive at the net total price of the bid. |
| 11 | If the tenderer fails to quote rates against any item, the tender may be treated as incomplete and non – responsive and shall be rejected. |
| 12 | Errors will be corrected by the employer for any arithmetic errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions. |
| 13 | No Price variation is admissible in this contract. |
| 14 | Tenderer shall note that total price mentioned in Tender Total of Annexure-2 of ITT and BOQ total price must be equal. In case of discrepancies BOQ total price shall prevail. |
| 15 | Tenderer shall note that total price mentioned in BOQ after discount and Annexure-2 of ITT must be equal. In case of any discrepancies BOQ total price shall prevail and Milestone shall be apportioned accordingly by considering the same discount as mentioned in BOQ. |
| 16 | The rates and prices to be tendered in the Pricing Document are for completed and finished items of work and complete in all respect. It will be deemed to include cost of all plants, labour, supervision, materials, transport, all temporary works, erection, maintenance, contractor’s profit and establishment/overheads, all general risks, insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and obligations set out or implied in the contracts |
| 17 | Tenderer shall note that the Part-1 of Annexure-2 of ITT is only instructions for completing the pricing document, whereas Part-II of Annexure-2 of ITT is required to be prepared and submit along with the pricing document (Vol-5) by the tenderer. |
| 18 | For the List of spares for 10 years of system operation from the last date of Taking over of whole works, the bidder shall submit unpriced list of spares for maintenance of supplied system in the format as per Appendix- 32 of FOT in Technical Package and priced list for the same in the Financial Package. However, due to any reason(s), if the tenderer is not able to submit unpriced list of spares for maintenance of supplied system in the format as per Appendix- 32 of FOT in Technical Package and priced list for the same in the Financial Package, tenderer shall submit an undertaking in the format as per Appendix-33 of FOT in the Technical Package. The rates of these spares (Appendix-32 of FOT) will not be considered for tender evaluation while assessing the L1 bidder. For detailed information SCC clause 55 may be referred. |
| 19 | Tenderer shall note that the pricing for unconditional withdrawal of the deviations from Instructions to Tenderer, GCC & SCC and the Employer’s Requirements (General Specifications and Particular Specifications) noted in the Appendix 13 has been given in the financial bid.The Tenderer shall indicate price adjustment against each deviation in Appendix - N of Pricing Document. This price is the price on which the tenderer shall reduce from his tender price if deviation(s) is/are accepted by the Employer.If there is no deviation, the statement should be returned duly signed with an endorsement indicating ‘No Deviations’. In case, Performa of deviations is not submitted or submitted as blank, it will be construed that the tenderer has not proposed any deviations from tender documents.Tenderer must confirm that all implicit and explicit deviations, comments and remarks mentioned elsewhere in our proposal shall be treated as NULL and VOID and stand withdrawn and the unpriced deviations will be treated as NULL and VOID. |
