3Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish outside site premises and at unobjectionable place.
4Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish outside the site and to unobjectionable place.
5Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including disposal of excavated earth within site and lift upto 1.5 m, disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed
6Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including taking out and disposal of excavated earth within or outside site to unobjectionable place and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed. Extra for levelling and neatly dressing of disposed soil completely to be paid separately as per relevant item.All kinds of Soil such as ordinary/hard soil, kankar, murrum, gravel, pebbles, bajri, removal of shrubs, uprooting the tree roots etc. and all types of material encountered in excavation including excavation of saturated soils, mud, sludge etc.
7Note:a) The prices for all excavations are to include for removing and clearing away all shrubs, bushes, roots etc. including tank pad foundation. b) The prices are also to include for all leveling and ramming foundation beds, trimming of sides and bottom grading to proper level as required.c) Removal and carrying shall include for all loading, unloading and handling as may be necessary and also all necessary means of transport (Mechanical or manual as required). d) The prices are also to include removal of water accumulated due to subsoil seepage, rains or from any kind of sources, either by pumping or by bailing or by any suitable method like well point dewatering etc. if reqd. No extra payment shall be made for dewatering. This also includes for draining out the pumped water to nearby available drainage system.e) Normally payment of earth work shall be made according to the+B5 sizes of PCC for trenches/ pits as contemplated in the working drawings. Extra due to widening or deepening of trenches / pits shall not be paid for except for the cases where water / acid proofing would be accepted as per working drawings in such case the mode of measurement shall be as per IS : 1200.f) Nothing extra shall be paid for sorting /screening of excavated materials to obtain good earth for filling.
8g) Nothing extra shall be paid on account of any lift for disposal of excavated materials.h) Where excavation are made in excess of the depth required, the contractor shall at his own expense fill up to the desired level with lean concrete of mix 1:5:10 (1 Cement: 5 Coarse sand: 10 Graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size.i) Rate shall include Royalty, Taxes, etc., levied by the local authorities, all transportation, loading and unloading, etc., and nothing extra will be paid on this account.j) Soft / loose soil also includes filled up earth / murrum.k) The filling for earth / murrum or sand shall be done in layers not exceeding 20 cm in thickness (consolidated) with Suitable means to achieve 95% dry density at Optimum Moisture Content corresponding to standard Proctor test compaction with vibroroller(8 to 10MT capacity) & vibro compactor in confined spaces.l) For other conditions please refer document.

14Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets & dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5m including getting out excavated soil & then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing surplus excavated soil as directed, within or outside site at unobjectionable place IN ALL KIND OF SOILS
15i) Pipes,cables etc. not exceeding 80mm dia

17Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidation each deposited layer by ramming and watering, within premises and lift upto 1.5m
18Filling low lying areas with available excavated surplus earth within station premises (excluding rock) in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidation each deposited layer by ramming and watering for all Lift and Lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge / Site in charge.
19RCC RING WALL/SAND PAD FOUNDATION FOR TANKS
20HARD-CORE SOLING: Providing and laying dry stone hard rubble/boulder soling of required thickness under floor, ramps, walls, foundation, trenches, etc. & for similar situations at plinth level/ below plinth level including watering, ramming, Bliding, and well consolidating, laying in regular lines , levels, interstices, filled with smaller stones /chips of appropriate size [with material confirming to grade-I (size 75 mm to .075 mm)] and sand consolidated with copious watering as specified & finished to the required level, complete as per specification compacting with vibratory power & direction of by site engineer. The soling shall be laid and hand packed true to grade and section and these shall be often checked by borning rods,temple boards,fish line,etc..The grades sections etc.of soling shall correspond to those of the surfacing coming thereon.The soling thus laid shall be finished by knocking out projecting stones and filling depressions by chips to reach up to the grade & camber. (Payment shall be made of finished compacted thickness of hard core)
21Supplying and filling coarse sand of Zone III as per IS Code, in plinth, under floors, under ground tanks & tank foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 200mm in depth, each deposited layer shall be compacted by mechanical vibration (Vibro-roller) and watering (consolidation) and dressing complete to as to attain relative density not below 90 to 95% of maximum laboratory density. Last layer of tank foundation to be prepared in desired slope as per drawing and as per technical specifications.Note:The rate quoted should include testing of compacted layers of sand with necessary equipment/laboratory tests etc in order to achieve desired relative density for the compacted layers.
22Supplying and filling in plinth with sand within specified grading zone of fine aggregates specified in attached specifications under floors, etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, each deposited layer to be compacted by ramming including watering, consolidating and dressing complete.
23i) Local Fine Sand within grading zone IV
24Making leak detection membrane by providing Black Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) film, 4000 gauge (=1mm thickness) as per IS 2508-1984. Joints in the film shall be heat-sealed insitu during laying of the film, using a 3-sealer thermostatically controlled electric iron and checked carefully.The film may be laid at a slope (towards the periphery of the sand pad foundation) of atleast 1 in 200, to effectively drain leaked product, if any, away from the sand pad. The film shall be anchored at the periphery of the ring beam, as shown in attached drawing.
25Supplying and laying bituminous carpet (anti corrosive layer) of 75mm thick for sand/tank pad foundation in two layers using bitumen and stone grit mix made by throughly mixing dry stone grit with cut back Bitumen of grade VG-10 heated to about 105 degree Celsius to 115 degree Celcsus, @100kg/Cum of sand grit of fineness modulus 3.5max, consolidation, rolling the surface to the required slope etc., complete as per drawing and instruction at site. Item includes laying of 1000 micron (1mm) black LDPE liner as per IS 2508 under the desired layer of sand. Payment of LDPE sheet and sand below & over the LDPE shall be paid separately.
26Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for pre-constructional anti-termite treatment & creating a chemical barrier under & around column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of wall and floor, along external perimeter of building, expansion joints, surrounding of pipes & conduits etc. @ 1 litre per hole , 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm dia holes and plugging with cement mortar 1:2 to match the floor complete as per IS specifications (IS:6313) confirming to manufacture and as directed by IOCL
27Supply and erection of 32/40NB pipe(SA 106 Gr. B) Sch. 40 in tank ring wall with stone gravels (to be paid separately) at its one end inside the tank for draining of any leaked product , complete as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
28Providing and laying 40 mm and down size hard granite metal layer of 300 mm horizontal thickness as per specs.(Filter 1).
29Providing and laying 12 mm and down size stone chips layer of 300 mm horizontal thickness as per detailed specs (Filter 2).
30Providing & Placing in position suitable PVC water stops conforming to IS:12200 for construction/ expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete : i) Serrated with central bulb (225mm wide, 8-11mm thick)
31CONCRETE WORK/ REINFORCED CONCRETE WORK
32a) The prices for concrete in beds and slabs are to include for laying on any type of sub grade, laying to falls, or cambers and for preparing surfaces to receive concrete.b) All concrete surfaces shall be finished to a fair face to give a smooth and even surface. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.c) The prices are to include leaving pockets, cut outs and holes and to provide wooden boxes or any other suitable arrangements in RCC for bolt holes in slab, beams, walls, foundation of equipments etc. as per approved working drawing. (Nothing extra shall be paid on this account).d) No deduction in RCC quantity shall be made for pockets and nothing extra shall be paid for providing pockets as mentioned in para 'C' above.e) Measurement of opening in concrete work/RCC work: For measurement of openings in concrete work / RCC works, shall be as per IS: 1200 Part-III.f) All pocket holes are to be properly covered by suitable means so that dirt, rain water etc. etc., should not enter the pockets/holes etc. (Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.)
33g) Threads of bolts etc. which have already been fixed in the pockets are to be greased and polythene sheet properly covered with gunny bags to protect it from damages from all sources. (Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.)h) The prices shall include for all rebating, trotting, chamfering weathering, molding etc. to accord with the details shown on the approved working drawings.i) Nothing extra shall be paid for any intricate concrete work for foundations of equipments and machinery (dynamic/static), RCC wall and other superstructure works or any delay in concreting in small and thin sections in PCC or RCC works.j) The prices for concrete are to include for hoisting and / or lowering to any height and/or depth required and in any type of form work, packing around reinforcement where required and finishing the surfaces, to fair and even surface.k) The prices shall include working up or hacking of concrete surface for providing keys for further concrete work and shall also include all plane, rebated or grooved constructional and other joints. l) The design mixes of all controlled concrete of various grades shall be established by the contractor on the basis of weigh batching, at the beginning of work. In all concrete / RCC work graded coarse aggregate shall be used. Any concrete work with honey comb shall be rejected and the work has to be redone by the contractor at his own cost.
34m) Concrete admixtures for workability if necessary, may be used in RCC if decided by Engineer-in-charge. No extra payment for mixing etc, shall be made on this account. n) Machine and equipment foundations shall mean all foundations including pedestals of vessels, towers, pumps, compressor motors, or any other equipment or machinery (both static and dynamic), pipe supports, etc. and the like.o) The prices are also to include the removal of water caused by rains/seepage etc. either pumping or by bailing out or by special means like well point dewatering etc. that may accumulate in the trenches and foundation pits etc.p) The prices are to include the supply of cement by the contractor. q) Anti shrinkage compound used in grouting shall be paid separately.r) The source of supply for sand and stone chips shall be approved by IOCL.
35Following additional points to be noted for Ready Mix Concrete(RMC)a) Ready mix concrete (RMC) of approved vendor at the site of casting including coordinating with Engineer-in-charge, prior to casting, making all arrangement to unload the concrete so as to ensure that RMC is not detained for unloading, placing the concrete at site, vibrating, taking concrete cubes, testing, curing the concrete etc. complete in relevant items.b) Necessary schedule will have to be submitted by agency 3 days in advance so that proper coordination with Engineer-in-charge is done.c) It shall be ensured that shuttering done by contractor shall be adequate to withstand pumping pressure.d) Any loss of material shall be contractor’s responsibility.e) Submission of test results at RMC mixing plant site as well as casting site shall be contractors responsibilityf) Desired design mix shall be got approved from Engineer-in charge before placing order for RMC.g) Any toll taxes applicable to be borne by the contractor.h) Any other taxes as levied by Govt. from time to time shall be deemed to be inclusive in the contract.i) Approved brand of 43 grade cement shall be used for preparing RMC & Cement shall be tested as per relevant IS Codes. Cement supply shall be in contractor’s scope.
36PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE: Providing and laying cement concrete in foundation, footings and base for columns/walls including proportioning, mixing in mechanical mixer, laying vibration by means of mechanical vibrators, curing etc. complete including the cost of shuttering:-
37Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
38Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:3:6 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

40REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE
41IN FOUNDATION & PLINTH: Providing and laying in position, machine batched & machine mixed design mix M-25 grade reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. Including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9109 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge -- M-25 grade reinforced cement concrete UP TO PLINTH LEVEL Note :- a. Minimum Cement content considered in this item is @330 kg/cum and accordingly design mix to be done. Less cement used as per design mix (if any) will be recoverable separately. No extra payment against extra cement if used shall be payable. b. Batch mixing plant of capacity to be approved by Site Engineer for the works to be installed by the Contractor at site along with required NOCs from concerned Authorities. Alternatively, Contractor shall also be permitted to use RMC (if available) at no extra cost to IOC & after obtaining prior approval from Engineer In-Charge.c. For small quantities (up to 5 cum per day), mixing & placing of concrete of M25 (1:1:2) using mechanical mixer shall be permitted with the prior approval of IOC.d. Hacking of exposed surface of green concrete (wherever applicable) as Key to plaster shall be done at no extra cost to IOC.
42IN SUPER-STRUCTURE: Providing and laying in position, machine batched & machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. Including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9109 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge -- M-25 grade reinforced cement concrete ABOVE PLINTH & UP TO FLOOR 5 LEVELNote :- a. Minimum Cement content considered in this item is @330 kg/cum and accordingly design mix to be done. Less cement used as per design mix (if any) will be recoverable separately. No extra payment against extra cement if used shall be payable. b. Batch mixing plant of capacity to be approved by Site Engineer for the works to be installed by the Contractor at site along with required NOCs from concerned Authorities. (Note:- Cement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum) for All works UP TO PLINTH LEVEL.IN FOUNDATION & PLINTH: Providing and laying in position, machine batched & machine mixed design mix M-30 grade reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. Including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9109 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge -- M-30 grade reinforced cement concrete UP TO PLINTH LEVEL Note :- a. Minimum Cement content considered in this item is @340 kg/cum and accordingly design mix to be done. Less cement used as per design mix (if any) will be recoverable separately. No extra payment against extra cement if used shall be payable. b. Batch mixing plant of capacity to be approved by Site Engineer for the works to be installed by the Contractor at site along with required NOCs from concerned Authorities. Alternatively, Contractor shall also be permitted to use RMC (if available) at no extra cost to IOC & after obtaining prior approval from Engineer In-Charge.c. (Note:- Cement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum). for All works ABOVE PLINTH UPTO FLOOR 5 LEVELIN SUPER-STRUCTURE: Providing and laying in position, machine batched & machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. Including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9109 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge -- M-30 grade reinforced cement concrete ABOVE PLINTH & UP TO FLOOR 5 LEVELNote :- a. Minimum Cement content considered in this item is @340 kg/cum and accordingly design mix to be done. Less cement used as per design mix (if any) will be recoverable separately. No extra payment against extra cement if used shall be payable. b. Batch mixing plant of capacity to be approved by Site Engineer for the works to be installed by the Contractor at site along with required NOCs from concerned Authorities. Alternatively, Contractor shall also be permitted to use RMC (if available) at no extra cost to IOC & after obtaining prior approval from Engineer In-Charge.c. 45REINFORCEMENT: Supplying, cutting, bending, hoisting, placing in position with proper precast concrete block cover and binding with 18 SWG annealed wire, high yield strength deformed bars Thermo Mechanically Treated Bars Fe-500 d grade or more, Conforming to as per IS: 1786 for all R.C.C works including all necessary handling at all heights and depths complete in all respects and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
46Note:a) Wastage in cutting will not be paid. Only steel actually fixed in position will be paid by the linear measurement i/c hooks, chairs, dowels and laps. Only authorized hooks and laps approved in bar bending schedule shall be paid. Lapping of bars will be allowed only where the required bar length exceeds the standard lengths available unless otherwise approved. All other laps provided unless otherwise specified in the drawings shall not be measured and paid for. Weight of binding wire shall not be measured for payment. The prices are to include for the supply of all Reinforcement & Embedment at site by the Contractor.b) Reinforcement are to be tack welded in addition to binding by 18 SWG annealed wire wherever necessary to impart fixity. Bars of 28 mm dia & above shall also be provided with stitch weld in additions to binding with annealed iron wire and nothing extra will be paid for stitch welding. Stitch welding shall be done as per IS specifications. No extra claim shall be entertained on this account.c) Supplying, cutting, bending, hoisting, placing in position with proper precast concrete block cover and binding with 18 SWG annealed wire, high yield strength deformed bars as per IS: 1786 for all R.C.C works including all necessary handling at all heights and depths complete in all respects and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
47Floor hardener of type Fosroc Nitoflor Hardtop or similar such as toprovide additional abrasion resistant of 250% or more. The material to be used as per the specifications of manufacturer in all respects to getbest results
48SHUTTERING & CENTERING: Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. with suitable materials as per Tender conditions & specifications and removal of form for: -
49i) Foundations,footings,bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
50ii) RCC Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttress, plinth and string courses etc.
51iii) Suspended floors,roofs,landings,balconies, access platform and Shelves (Cast in situ)
52iv) Lintels, beams plinth beams,girders bressumers and cantilevers
53v) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts.
54Supplying and fixing MS foundation/Anchor bolts with necessary GI nuts and washers of specified sizes,with suitable anchorage all conforming to relevant Indian Standards and as approved by Engineer-in-charge :
55GROUTING:Providing grouting in pockets/bases etc (As per Technical specification), cost of grouting, including supply of materials shall be covered in the unit rates. Rates shall include cost of labor, supervision, deployment of tools & tackles, consumables, materials and other associated arrangements required to execute all the related activities. Grouting using Free flow non shrinkable grout material CONBEXTRA GP-2 or approved equivalent etc
56STRUCTURAL STEEL
57Supplying, transporting, de-rusting, fabricating, erecting, hoisting and fixing in position with necessary welding and/or bolting with MS bolts conforming to property class 4.6 or higher of I.S:1367 at all height as per approved fabrication drawings of all types of structural steel work in rolled steel joints, channels, angles, tees, flats, plates, lattice members built up / compound sections in columns, portals, girders, beams, bracings, trusses, purlins, rafters, staircase, steps, hand-railings, walkway, cat ladder with cages, toe plates, side walling, trestles, Conveyor gantries grating, chequred plate etc. including gusset plates, anchor plates etc., including site and shop fasteners, riveting, bolting, welding at shop or work site at all heights etc. & including applying approved coats of primers, undercoat and finish painting as per Technical specification. Complete as per drawing and direction of Owner / Consultant. (All material supply is in contractor’s scope including paints )Providing and applying Anticorrosive treatment to structural steel surface as per below specifications.a) Surface preparation by shot blasting conforming to SA 2.5 b) Primer coat of INORGANIC ZINC ETHYL SILICATE (DFT 65 – 75 micron)c) Intermediate coat of TWO PACK EPOXY-POLYAMIDE MIO UNDERCOAT (DFT 100 – 125 micron)d) Final coat of TWO PACK ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE (DFT40-50 micron) Total DFT shall be min 215 micron. Final paint shades shall be as approved by IOCL.Payment will be on the basis of weight of structural steel provided.
58Supplying, providing, shop fabricated, steel pressed lock, erection of galvanised electro forged gratings comprising of shaped, grating and stair treads out of steel using 25x5mm/6mm flat bars and 6mm MS twisted Bars as per requirements duly welded/fixed/clamped to base frame and as shown in relevant drawings including galvanizing of gratings as per enclosed specifications.Note:- Finished size of grating laid shall be measured for the purpose of payment. Pitch of the main flat bars(25x5mm) shall be 33-35mm and the pitch of the 6mm twisted rod (cross members) shall be 100mm, the outer frame of grating of all sizes shall be 25x5mm/6mm FB or as per approved drawing.

87i) The plates for Shell, Bottom , Annular and Roof will be provided free of cost by IOC. ii) Steel plates for backing strips, wind girders, reinforcement plates for shell/roof manholes,nozlles,gusset plates etc, shall be in the scope of contractor and included under relevant SOR item of Tank Structurals, for which separate measurement & payment shall not be done undet this item.iii) Carrying out hydrostatic testing by filling the tank with water to maximum permissible height/full tank height, including supply of water, emptying and clearing after testing. Hydro-test for IFRVTs has to carried out two times, once before erection of internal floating roof and the second after erection of internal floating roof and seals. Procedure for hydrostatic test shall be as per tender/approved procedure of IOCL. 219LAYING & WELDING OF FIRE HYDRANT PIPELINES (ABOVE GROUND) IN ZONE-BLaying and welding (3 runs min.) above ground/ below ground pipelines from supplied MS pipes (pipes to be supplied anywhere within the depot and the contractor shall shift the same to the site of work at no extra cost with all leads and lifts) of the following sizes as described below, including cutting bevelling and fixing the supplied specials such as elbows, bends tees, reducers etc complete and hydrotesting the pipelines at 10.5 KSC for a minimum period of 4 Hrs. The job includes dye penetration (DP) testing of pipeline joints as per approved QAP.Above ground pipeline to be laid on concrete pedestals (which is to be constructed as per the respective item of this schedule)/ FH pump house and manifolds and painting the pipeline as per the specifications enclosed. ( radiography shall not be done for fire hydrant lines & for lines to be used for water services)Note:a. 306NOTE:-1) To complete the hot work & cold work job as per direction of EIC/ site engineer . 2) Dismantling of existing tank, compaction ramming of foundation including supply of equipements,consumables, labour, dismantling tools and tackles for completing the job in all respect as per direction of site enginneer.3) Dismantling of existing U/G ethanol tank shall be ground piping works of all types and sizes by isolation of the portion of the piping, depressurization,draining,opening flange joints or by gas cutting/ cold cutting or any other approved suitable means without damaging other portions of work witha dequate precautions and safety.4) The job includes cutting the pipes to required sizes as directed, taking out valves, flanges, tees, bends,gaskets nuts, bolts etc. attached supports alongwith any instruments suchas pressure gauge, temperature gauge etc. handling, transporting and storing at owner's designated store in safe manner to avoid damage including supply of all labour, materials, equipments, consumables etc.necessary to perform and complete the work in all respects as per drawings, instructions of the Site Engineer / EIC (payment shall be made on linear measurement of dismantled piping including bends tees etc.)5) The contractor shall indicate the piping system to be dismantledand shall take specific approval from the Site engineer before dismantling of pipe. Certain redundant pipes which in the opinion of theOwner need not be retrieived, those items shall not be dismantled.6) Storage tank systems are to be removed in accordance with industry standards, which include, but are not limited to, compliance with workplace safety and health legislation, other permits and any other IOCL requirements.7) Tank serial numbers are to be recorded and noted on the Tank Removal Report.

Applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade VG-10 of approved quality using 1.7kg per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes & finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.
