The water proof coating shall be protected with plastering in cement mortar 1:4 using integral waterproofing compound to a minimum thickness of 20mm. The contractor shall give 5 years guarantee for water proofing of this area also. The work shall be got done through authorized applicator of the manufacturer, complete all as specified and as directed.Note: - (a) The rate is including the whole process with materials. |
| 19 | Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down moulds, moss efflorescent salts and greasy spots etc and filling the cracks properly using crack filler compound and finally washing with water jet. The surface should be completely dry. The contents Nitocote wall guard or equivalent shall be thoroughly stirred for at least 2 minutes using slow speed (300-400 RPM) drilling machine attached with a mixing paddle. Apply first coat of Nitocote wall guard or equivalent with a nylon brush or a felt roller to the primed substrate. Allow the surface to dry 5-6 hours and then apply second coat. work shall be done up to 8 storey height complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - Nito coat wall guard or equivalent shall be applied at theoretical application rate 3- 3.5 Sqm/ ltr for two coats. The rate shall include cost of all materials, machinery labour and scaffolding etc. |
