Fixing should be done using galvanized nails, masonry nails, or screws with washers to ensure firm anchorage on the surface.For installation, first clean the AAC block surface thoroughly to remove dust and loose particles. Cut the mesh to the required size and overlap adjacent sections by at least 100 mm. Fix the mesh securely at 300 mm intervals, ensuring it is taut and flush with the surface. Apply a 10–12 mm thick base coat of 1:4 cement-sand plaster, embedding the mesh properly. Allow it to set for 24 hours before applying the final 4–6 mm thick finishing coat. After finishing, cure the surface regularly for at least 7 days to prevent shrinkage cracks and ensure proper bonding. |
