| 10 | Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of AC 3 phase, 50 Hz, 100 KVA capacity transformer of latest approved level, step down, outdoor type, 11000/433 Volts (at no load) all as per IS 1180 (Part-1): 2014, copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled with external cooling tubes, ONAN cooling, core type, delta connected on primary (HV) side and star connected on secondary (LV) side in accordance with vector symbol DYN-11 with neutral brought out on secondary (LV) side and having tappings in equal steps of 2.5% from (+) 2.5% to (-) 5% on primary side by means of hand operated off load tap changing gear, so as to change/correct LT voltage on secondary side including provision of all necessary/standard fittings, all as per latest IEC 76 amendments and Energy Efficiency Level-2 Transformer as per IS 1180 (Part-1): 2014 complete as specified and as directed, comprising of the following accessories:(a) The core shall be stack/wound type of high grade Cold Rolled Grain Oriented steel (IS 3024) or Amorphous Core annealed steel lamination having low loss and good grain properties, coated with hot oil proof inter layer insulation of Nomex / Epoxy dotted Kraft Paper, bolted together and to the frames firmly to prevent vibration or noise. The core shall be stress relieved by annealing under inert atmosphere if required. The complete design of core must ensure no load/ core loss should be minimum with continuous working of the transformers. LV winding shall be such that neutral formation will be at top making it more connection convenient. (b) The maximum allowable losses at 75°C for 11/0.433 kV at 50% of rated load and total losses at 100% of rated load shall not exceed the maximum total loss of 475 Watts and 1650 Watts respectively without any positive tolerance, all as per specified in IS-1180 (Part-1): 2014. (c) The percentage impedance of transformer at 75°C for 250 KVA shall be 4.5 percentage as per Table 3 of IS-1180 (Part-1): 2014.(d) The rated Basic Insulation Level (BIL) shall be 75 KVp as per Table 2 of IS-1180 (Part-1): 2014. |
| 11 | 5.01 (Contd..)(e) Transformer tank construction shall be conform para 15 of IS 1180 Part-1 : 2014.It can be with radiator fins or cooling tubes. The tank covers shall be bolted /clamped alternatively welded with tank rim so as to make leak proof joint. The tank shall be of adequate mechanical strength to withstand positive and negative pressure built up during Transformer operation and all weldings operations shall be carried out by qualified welders.(f) A suitable cable box on primary side HV consisting three Nos of HT porcelain bushings with brass/gun metal bushing rods conforming to IS 2099 and IS-3347. A suitable cable box on secondary side LV consisting four Nos of porcelain bushings with Gun metal bushing rods complete with nuts and washers conforming to IS 7421. The bushings shall be fixed with straight pockets and in the same plane or the top cover. The Minimum clearance in cable boxes shall be provided as per Para 11.1 of IS 1180 Part 1 : 2014.(g) The conservator must be provided with oil gauge, air release plug and breathing device shall be fixed to the conservstor, it also includes drain plug and a filling hole of 32 mm with cover. The capacity of a conservator tank shall be designed keeping in view the total quantity of oil and its contraction and expansion due to temperature variations.The silical gel crystal in beather to be filled for moisture absorption.(h) The painting of transformer shall be conform para 15.5 of IS 1180 Part 1 : 2014. Inside of the transformer shall be painted with varnish or oil resistant paint and outside shall be painted one coat of thermo setting powder paint or one coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of polyurethene base paint.
