Rollers, bolts & nuts, washers, grouting bolts, padding plates etc., fabrication and erection of saddle supports and other type of supports for pipes manifolds and valves, fabrication and erection of platforms walkways, stairways etc., sand blast/ power brush cleaning, priming and painting the finished structures including supply of all other inputs such as labour, materials, consumable etc. necessary to perform and complete the work in all respect, in accordance with drawings, specifications and instructions of the Site Engineer / EIC.
35Surface preparation of piping, equipment and valves etc. by abrasive blast cleaning or with power wire brush (wherever blast cleaning is not possible) confirming to SA 2.5, making the surface free of dust, grease, mill scales etc., application of 1 coat x 50-75 microns DFT of Inorganic Zinc Ethyl Slicate Primer, followed by application of sealer coat of 30 micron DFT and intermediate coat of 150 micron DFT with surface tolerant epoxy mastic paint and 2 coats x 50 micron each DFT of Isocynate Aliphatic Poly Urethene (PU) by airless spray, with approved materials, paints, tools, tackles, consulambles, non-consumables, labour, equipment etc. to complete the job in all respects as per specification and instructions of the Site Engineer / EIC. The total DFT shall be minimum 330 microns.

38Repairing and reconditioning of 24\\" Ball/Gate valve. The work includes the following activities but not limited to:(1) Cleaning, visual inspection for valve, stem, gear box, greasing/ sealant injection points, body drain/ vent valves and stem nut etc.(2) Dismantling of valve bonnet from the body by removing actuator/ hand wheel, gear box, stem nut & other auxiliary parts. (3) Removal of Ball and seats from valve body, descaling, degreasing to remove heavy soiling, manual cleaning of all parts of valve to remove all residual traces of dirt and surface impurities from gate and seats (4) Replacement of damaged/worn out consumables like, stem packing, bonnet gasket, seat rings, \\"O\\" rings, seat springs, etc. (5) De-chroming, machining of ball and seat surface scratches/defects, material deposition (if required), surface grinding, Re-metallizing of ball surface, lapping, chrome plating, Reconditioning of mettalic seat ring, Replacement of soft RTFE & PTFE rings, trueness checking, performing leak test, Servicing of Gear Box etc. (6) Assembly, checking the operation and hydro-testing of valve in presence of IOCL representative as per API- 6D/API 598 and other applicable standards.(7) Painting the valve with relevant epoxy based paint with two coats of epoxy paint \\"EPILUX 155 High Build Enamel over a coat of \\"EPILUX 610\\" Primer of M/s BERGER or any other approved equivalent make.(8) Transportation of valve from IOCL site to vendor’s workshop and returning the same after repairing including transportation, loading, unloading, Hydra, truck and shifting charges.The scope includes all shifting, loading, unloading, tool & tackles, and other labour and materials cost complete in all respects as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC).Note-1: Penalty of 0.5% against respective SOR item will be recovered for each week delayed beyond the repair time, as mentioned in technical specification, up to a maximum penalty of 10%
39Above ground process piping: Taking delivery & transporting of pipes from designated stock pile location /Designated godown both from outside & inside station premises. Taking delivery of pipe fittings, steel flanges, spiral wound metallic gaskets & fasteners from designated location within station premises, transporting the same to site, fabrication and erection of above ground piping including cutting, edge preparation, bending, threading, lining up, welding and installing pipes and pipe fittings, flanges, elbows, equal and reducing outlet tees,concentric/eccentric reducers, y-type strainers, drain funnels, vent pipes and tapping for instruments such as pressure gauges, thermal relief valves, thermowells etc., installing above ground at all elevations connecting with equipment nozzles, valves, vessels, in line instruments etc., welded and threaded pipe line of different pressure ratings, flushing pipes by water after cleaning by compressed air, hydrostatic testing of each section to the specified pressure, draining the water, tie-in, final cleaning-up and dispoal of wastes and surpluses including providing all inputs such as labour, material, equipments and consumables necessary to perform the work (other than those specifically under taken by the owner in this contract) and completing the work in all respects in accordance with the drawings, specifications and instructions of Site Engineer / EIC. 50Radiographic Inspection: Inspection of welding by Digital Radiography (CR) or by conventional film radiographic method on all types of piping including processing of images/ films and interpreting the results of weld quality and reporting the same to the Site Engineer together with recommendations as to the acceptability or otherwise of the welds, submitting the finished radiographic films as may be approved or directed by Engineer-in-Charge inclusive of supply of all pesonnel, labour, materials, equipment, consumable, inputs, etc. and providing all services complete in all respects as envisaged in the contract documents. Note: i) Payment will be on the basis of number of welds of the respective size radiographed and shall be all inclusive for the complete job of radiographic inspection as envisaged in the contract document. ii) Radiography not involving full girth weld will be paid at 50% of the rate for full girth weld for the respective size. iii) For set-on type branch welding, the rate for radiography will be as applicable to the branch pipe size. iv) Repeat radiography of individual welds due to defective films or repair of welds shall be done at contractor's cost. v) In case where radiography is not possible, verification by utrasonic testing shall be done at contractors cost., vi) Magenetic particle inspection as and where\\" required shall be done at Contractors cost. vii) In case of conventional film radiography, all films shall be digitised and submitted to EIC/ Site Engineer in USB drives. viii) In case of Digital/ Computed Radiography, native files along with image/ pdf files shall be submitted to EIC/ Site Engineer in USB drives.

55Dismantling of existing over ground piping works of all types and sizes by opening flange joints or by gas cutting/ cold cutting or any other approved suitable means without damaging other portions of work. The job includes evacuation of the contents of the piping, cutting the pipes to required sizes as directed, taking out valves, flanges, tees, bends, gaskets nuts, bolts etc. attached supports alongwith any instruments such as pressure gauge, temperature gauge etc. handling, transporting and storing at owner's designated store in safe manner to avoid damage including supply of all labour, materials, equipments, consumables etc. necessary to perform and complete the work in all respects as per drawings, instructions of the Site Engineer / EIC (payment shall be made on linear measurement of dismantled piping including bends tees etc.). Note : The contractor shall indicate the piping system to be dismantled and shall take specific approval from the Site engineer before dismantling of pipe. Certain redundant pipes which in the opinion of the Owner need not be retrieived, those items shall not be dismantelled.
56Piping Modification: Carrying out modification in already fabricated and/ or erected pipe due to change in drawing or as required by site condition, taking delivery of pipe, pipe fittings, steel flanges, spiral wound metallic gaskets & fasteners from designated location within station premises, transporting the same to site, cutting of pipe and / or weld joint , edge preparation, bending, lining up, welding and installing pipes and pipe fittings, flanges, elbows, equal and reducing outlet tees, concentric/eccentric reducers, y-type strainers, drain funnels, vent pipes and tapping for instruments such as pressure gauges, thermal relief valves, thermowells etc., installing above ground at all elevations connecting with equipment nozzles, valves, vessels, in line instruments etc., welded and threaded pipe line of different pressure ratings, flushing pipes by water after cleaning by compressed air, hydrostatic testing of each section to the specified pressure, draining the water, tie-in, final cleaning-up and dispoal of wastes and surpluses including providing all inputs such as labour, material, equipments and consumables necessary to perform the work (other than those specifically under taken by the owner in this contract) and completing the work in all respects in accordance with the drawings, specifications and instructions of Site Engineer / EIC. (Item is to be operated upon approval of SIte Enginner, Item covers only modification / rework jobs.)

58Hook-up of New Piping with existing process Piping: Isolating the section by closing the valve and providing positive isolation with the help of suitable plates / spectacle blind, Draing of the section, water flushing,Cutting of portion of existing piping of required length by Cold cutting machine (to be arraged by contractor)/ Opening of WNRF/SORF/Blind Flange/ Mud Plugging by Bentonite/ trimming, grinding, beveling the edges, adding spool piece of required length/ Tee of the corresponding pipe size, thickness, adjoining and welding both the pipe ends ,or welding WNRF to pipe and bolting it with spool pipe mating flange including supply of all inputs such as labour, materials, equipment, consumables etc. necessary to perform and complete the work in all respect as per specification and instruction of the Site Engineer / EIC. NOTE: i) This is a high precision work which is to be executing in minimum time so reduce operation downtime period taking all safety precautions. Before start of work firm planning to be done in consultaion with EIC/ Site Engineer and contractor should mobile all required resources before start of work. ii) The job also include evacuation of product from the piping section after isolating the section and flushing with water and its disposal. iii) Prior to start of work Party to prepare the complete scheme of hook up job and submit it to EIC/Site Engineer for approval and should carry out the job as per approved procedure.

[Note: This item shall also be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/ plying of load carrying motor vehicles of 3.5 cum or more.]
