Name of Work:- Construction of covered storm water drain from Trikon Park to Nandankanan via Mahajan More via Bistubhadra More in ward no. 17 under Panihati Municipality.

1Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.
2(b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and up to 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring
3Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work). (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.
4Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity). (B) Do - by fine sand
5Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.
6Removal of rubbish, earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal / Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge
7Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.
8Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.(i) Pakur Variety;
9Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

11Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc. initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.(a) For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m (i) Tor steel/Mild SteelII. 12Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) (a) In foundation and plinth
13Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] (ii) With 1:4 cement mortar(a) 20 mm thick plaster
14Neat cement punning about 1.5 mm. thick in wall, dado, window, sills, floor, drain etc.
15Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhou bulla piling, strutting etc) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surface are in contact with supported earth is to be measured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Enginner in charge). (a) Depth upto 1.5 m.
16(b) For additional depth beyond 1.5 m. and upto 3.00 m
17Bamboo pile walling made of 65 mm to 75 mm dia. Bamboo (in single line) driven about half length into the ground at very close spacing side by side including necessary bamboo stays, ties, runners etc and lining the exposed portion with sheets made form cut-drums fitted and fixed complete as per direction. (a) With bamboos of length between 1.20 m. and 1.80 m. each.
18Dismantling all types of masonry exceptingcement concrete plain or reinforced, stacking serviceable materials at site and removingrubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. a) In ground floor including roof.
19Dismantling all types of plain cement concreteworks, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75m. In ground floor including roof.(a) upto 150 mm. thick
20Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow or seepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically ascertained as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
21Supplying silver sand as per approved specification and stacked at site
22Supplying to the site empty cement bags(Capacity 50 kg) in good condition including stacking , incidental charges etc all complete.(a) Polythene bags.
23Labour for Filling empty cement gunny bags/polythene bag( capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry) including sewing (as done in case of cement bags, tying with knob after filling will not be accepted) and stacking in position within 150 m. with all lifts excluding the cost of earth (volume of earth filled Polybags should be considered as 0.028 cum)
24Dumping in position earth/sand filled gunny/poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30m inclusive of all lifts.
25Removing earth filled Poly bags/ Gunny bags from the channel bed/ slop initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the E.I.C. for measurement and then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 m from the channel site.
