Sl. No. Item Description
1Demolishing plain cement concrete works by chiselling at all levels including scaffolding, disposal of materials within 50 metres lead etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
2Demolishing Reinforced cement concrete works by chiselling at all levels including scaffolding, cutting of reinforcement bars by gas cutting, straightening & stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
3Demolishing brick work in cement mortar at all levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. complete.
4Dismantling the Mosaic/white glazed/Ceramic/Vitrified tiles /Kotah stone etc. in flooring/dado/skirting etc. including dismantling of bedding mortar, stacking of materials and disposing of debris within 50 metres lead etc. complete.
5Dismantling old plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning the surfaces for plaster including scaffolding, disposal of debris to the dumping ground within 50 mtrs. Lead etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
6Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 150 mm deep for all kinds of soil and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
7Earthwork excavation in foundations in all soils other than soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means upto a depth not exceeding 1.5 m. including shoring and dewatering, if necessary and refilling around foundations and in plinth with selected excavated earth, in layers not exceeding 250mm thick, consolidating etc., and disposing surplus earth within a distance of 50 metre lead. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.)

9Earthwork excavation over areas in all soils except soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means and disposing off & levelling the soil within a distance of 50 metre.
10Lead charges of all excavated material to anywhere in RRCAT premises, by mechanical transport, including, loading, unloading, stacking/levelling etc. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground levels)

12Forming embankments upto an average height of 1.5m above ground level with selected approved soil, in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with 1/2 tonne roller or wooden of steel rammer and rolling every 3rd and top most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes capacity to attain at least 90% of the proctor density, dressing the sides and top to the required profile and grade etc. complete.
13With approved quality murrum available from excavations within RRCAT premises by mechanical transport.
14Construction of Granular sub base by providing coarse graded material as per grading, spreading in uniform layers on the prepared surface, mixing at optimum moisture content and compacting with vibratory roller/mechanical earth rammer to achieve the desired density complete.
15For grading - I material (with 75mm and down size aggregates)
16For grading - II material (with 53mm and down size aggregates)
17Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including hand mixing,consolidating, finishing, curing ,etc complete but excluding formwork and as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
18Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including hand mixing,consolidating, finishing, curing ,etc complete but excluding formwork and as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
19Providing centering and shuttering using timber planks/steel plates including strutting and propping etc. at all heights and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
20Foundations, footings, base of columns plinth beams, flooring, machine foundations, bed blocks, window cills, copings and mass concrete
21REINFORCED cement concrete at all levels in M-20 grade using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm max. size including machine mixing, consolidation, finishing, curing, etc., complete at all height as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement.
22In foundations, footings, plinth beams, base of columns, flooring.
23Providing and placing in position REINFORCEMENT using TMT BARS of prefered make, having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 conforming to IS 1786, for reinforced cement concrete work at all levels, including cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed binding wire, with chairs, legs, supports etc. complete including cost of transporting the bars from factory to required location at work site, cost of 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed binding wire, watch & ward, insurance etc complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (The contractor has to submit the test report & Challan of the reinforcement, procured by him.)
24NOTE: Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment.
25Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using IInd class bricks having a compressive strength not less than 35kg/cm² in drains, compound walls, flower beds & other similar works including curing, raking out joints above ground level, simultaneous pointing below G.L. etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
26Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in superstructure at all levels including double scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete as per specifications,
27Kota stone flooring/skirting, using 15mm to 20mm thick hand cut single machine polished kotah stone slabs laid over 20 mm thick mortar, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry finished to levels, slope or plumb as required and cured etc. complete.
28In flooring with lime mortar 1:2 bedding and with machine polishing after laying.
29In skirting over cement mortar 1:3 backing, with exposed edge machine cut and surfaces hand polished after laying.
30Cement plastering to external surfaces of walls at all heights, 20mm thick, with cement mortar 1:4 over brick walls or concrete surfaces, including finishing rough (wooden float finish) hacking the concrete surfaces, double scaffolding wherever necessary, curing etc. complete.
31Polishing Old terrazo tile, Kota stone, insitu mosaic flooring / treads etc. using Carborundam stone of required coarseness fitted in the polishing machine including final polishing using Oxalic acid powder & disposal of waste etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
32Disposing debries, non value scrap, garbage, heaps of earth, rublles,rotton woodlogs and the like by deploying excavator with Operator and Khalasi including colecting the same in a tractor with driver and Khalasi for conveying the same to low lying areas including deploying labourers for unloading the material from tractor, levelling and dressing the ground at both the places i.e. at lifting point as well as at point of disposal so as to carry out the assigned work any where in RRCAT premises including the cost of all required tools & tackles,hire charges,fuel,necessary safety kit etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
