| 1 | Disconnecting defective transformer indoor/outdoor of capacity 500KVA both from HT/LT sides, and then drain out complete transformer oil, opening of top cover with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then lifting of core by means of tripod and chain pulley with due care for inspection and ascertain it’s serviceability state after keeping it aside. Removing of all sludge and unwanted material from tank and core, lowering of core assembly after carrying out required repairs to the winding and core.filling the drain out oil and make all connection to make the tranformer fully functional and tested to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. In case the repairs which are not possible at site then the transformer has to be taken to the work shop for repairs.all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) The cost of transportation shall be paid separately. (ii) The cost of rewinding shall be paid separately. (iii) The cost of dehydration/filtration & other necessary repair as directed shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of Sch’A’ (iv) Any additional transformer oil, if required will be filled by contractor and shall be paid under appropriate item. |

| 4 | Taking down of transformers of capacity 50 /100 /250/ 300/ 400/ 500 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, loading the tranfdormer in road vechical for transportation to workshop for repairs unloading the tranformer at workshop for repair. Tranformer is opened and repair and tested in the presence of Engineer-in-charge. After the tranformer is repaired the same is loaded on road vechicle and tranported to site unloading the transformer by means of crane and remounting on 2/4pole structure and making all the connections complete all as directed by Engineer -in- charge. |
