| 1 | Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC) of Automatic Strontium-Based Compact Condensed Fire System, suitable for protection of enclosed electrical and electronic equipment including electrical control panels, LT/HT switchboards, UPS cabinets, battery compartments, server racks, telecom cabinets, distribution boards and other enclosed hazards. The system shall consist of a factory-sealed, maintenance-free, non-pressurized compact condensed fire generator incorporating a calibrated pyrotechnic extinguishing composition based on Strontium Nitrate technology, engineered to provide rapid and effective protection for enclosed volumes up to 0.10 m³. The fire generator shall extinguish fire through homogeneous gas-phase chemical chain reaction inhibition by rapidly neutralizing active combustion radicals (H•, O• and OH•), thereby interrupting the combustion process without significantly reducing oxygen concentration. The fire generator shall incorporate a hermetically sealed combustion chamber, thermally insulated discharge assembly, corrosion-resistant powder-coated steel enclosure, high-reliability electrically operated thermal initiator, stainless steel mounting arrangement, fire-resistant interconnecting cable, terminal connectors, junction box and all accessories required for complete installation. The unit shall operate on 24 VDC with an activation current not exceeding 1.5 A, response time of less than 100 milliseconds, complete discharge within 10 seconds, and shall provide a minimum protected enclosure volume of 0.10 m³. The extinguishing composition shall be electrically non-conductive, non-corrosive, non-toxic, Halon Free, PFAS Free, environmentally acceptable, Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP), leaving only negligible inert residue after operation without causing damage to protected electrical and electronic equipment. |
| 2 | The system shall be suitable for continuous operation in ambient temperatures ranging from –40°C to +85°C, storage temperatures up to +95°C, shall have a minimum IP65 degree of protection as per IEC 60529, and a minimum service life of 10 years without routine maintenance. The complete system shall be designed, manufactured, tested and certified in accordance with the latest applicable editions of ISO 15779, NFPA 2010, EN 15276-1 & EN 15276-2, IEC 60529, IEC 60068 (all applicable parts), IEC 60331, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, RoHS and REACH, and shall comply with the applicable provisions of the National Building Code (NBC) of India, BIS Standards, CPWD General Specifications for Fire Fighting Works, and all other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The scope of work shall include Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, functional acceptance testing, integration with compatible fire detection and alarm systems, complete wiring and accessories, documentation, operation & maintenance manuals, warranty, training of operating personnel and handing over complete in all respects, as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.
